We initially started with glitch. Task husky rectified the matter. They are usually handling multiple task, so just be patient with them if you have ordered a service. If you are not satisfied with the initial delivery they always do their best to sort it out within reason.

Zach the founder is a very reasonable guy, he reads all the reviews and aims to ensure his customers are satisfied and want to come back.

Overall I’m very happy with the service and how you helped us get this setup. I was a sizable task, worked with Aman, over 2 months. Task Hasky is part of our long term development strategy.

I strongly regret hiring this developer. The experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and ultimately a waste of time and money. They failed to complete the work as promised in their quote, and after long stretches of silence, they would respond in a rude and combative tone — blaming us for not giving “clear enough instructions,” even though we provided detailed guidance and examples from the start.

Communication was inconsistent, deadlines were ignored, and instead of owning their lack of follow-through, they deflected responsibility and became dismissive. This wasn’t a communication issue — it was a professionalism issue.

Avoid working with them if you value your time, sanity, or budget.

I initially chose Taskhusky because my client shared a site that they liked. While researching, I saw that Taskhusky had completed work for this company.

The first red flag was that they wanted pre-payment of the project, 5k. The only reason I agreed was that at first, we were on a tight deadline to execute to a timeline. I had planned to use a different company for the data migration, but they assured me they would do a better job without any hiccups, so I agreed to let them do the work.

Things started well but went downhill quickly. Zach (Founder) was communicative at first but became combative and provided more excuses than results. Sometimes he was pleasant and other times it was like he was yelling at me through email. The last few emails I sent Zach, he flat-out didn't answer any of them, and instead, my messages were filtered through our assigned UI developer. I was asked to make requests only through their outdated portal to manage the requirements, and their team refused to do any video chats, phone calls, or walk-throughs with my UI developer as we handed off our Figma designs to their team. We asked multiple times with no response except to upload to their portal. Several times, I asked questions with no response for days, and then my project was auto-closed by their system. I would have to request to have it re-opened since it was active and work was in the queue. It was astounding to me that clarity was not desired and that communication was only via a horrible portal with poor workflows. The UI developer was at least courteous and better at responding. I have an ok deliverable that took a very long time to receive, which will get revamped again by a new team.

This project took longer than expected to get underway; however, the work deliverables were subpar from the start. Constant mistakes, no QA was being done, I was given responses that showed this team is not made up of SMEs, and the feedback loop was supremely frustrating. Some tasks took 5-7 revisions to get right, which were not complex. This was a complete waste of time and money.

On top of everything else, the tougher, most complex requirements ( Product page customization and data migration) were not delivered. The cost of hiring Taskhusky doubled on my end due to hiring other teams to deliver on task requirements - Taskhusky could not complete, who fulfilled the requests quickly and without any issue. (I went back to LitExtension, the first company, and not only did they import all the customer and order data seamlessly, but they did it in a matter of days, with exceptional customer service, and helped with any anomalies. It was a fantastic experience.)

Customer service does not seem important, and the task portal used to manage the project is outdated and frustrating. It is mind-blowing how little the founder seems to care about delivering quality work and a pleasant customer experience. My biggest regret was that I didn't do a better job of vetting them before paying for services. If you go to any of their social media accounts, you will see they have no recent posts and most likely their reviews are all from years ago. For over 20 years, I've worked on technology projects of all sizes and shapes, and if I could start this project over again, I would have chosen a different vendor.

I gave the company a clear task of exactly how I wanted a feature on my website to function. They said that they could do it, and provided a quote which I paid up front. Half way through the job they tried to charge me more saying that it would take more time than initially anticipated.

Sad that I even have to give one star to review this company. Avoid is an understatement. They were recommended to me by my Shopify theme developer so I didn’t question it. But I cannot describe how awful the company and customer service is. The task was website speed optimisation with 3-6 day completion at $280. I sent collaborator access right away and after 5 days of not accepting my collaborator invite I had to email, only 3 days after my email did they accept the invite. They then took forever to complete the task, with me having to email for updates that they consistently took days to respond to. They then finally wrote to me saying the task was complete and they were not able to make the website any faster even though they had done all possible optimisations! And that’s that, my money is gone and they will not refund. I am extremely anxious that they ever had admin access to my website and have no idea what they did. I will be making sure that my theme developer knows all about this experience and I’ll be showing her the other one star reviews, that sadly I only thought to look for after my bad experience. I will also be asking my theme developer to stop recommending them, as my theme developers are incredible and I think they would be upset to hear about this. Trust me…avoid this company. I feel sorry for them that they have a reputation like this. How sad that the only information and reviews you can find about this company are one star, I have my own brand and wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. I have respect for every single customer of mine and I go to the ends of the earth to ensure they are completely happy. At least I can rest easy knowing this, sadly for Zachary he can’t.

I was referred to this service by a fellow merchant who had some work done years ago and was happy with the results. Unfortunately, my experience was far from good.

From the start, their response time was incredibly slow and unprofessional, even when it came to providing a simple quotation. When they finally sent the quotation, it was overpriced, and the estimated time frame for completing the task was ridiculous. I chose not to accept the quotation because if they are this slow just to provide a quote, I can only imagine how long the actual work would take.

Additionally, the staff seemed to have a poor understanding of my requirements. They kept getting the information I provided wrong. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend their services.

Customer service is non-existent. Spent 4 weeks going back and forth just FOR A QUOTE. Their client portal is terrible. AVOID and don't waste your time.

Avoid this company. They’re extremely unresponsive, unprofessional, rude, and not worth the high rate they charge. I have no idea why they were recommended to us and regret not doing more research on them before purchasing their shockingly slow and arrogant services. Save your money and use someone else.

I approached Task Husky to redo the shopify template to our specification and paid upfront. After a week of not hearing back and emailing was so fed up that I posted on Task Huskys Facebook page. Task Husky immediately refunded the money and stated the following via email:

'We always appreciate recommendations from others. We are experts.

The report you purchased would not have helped you based on what it sounds like you need because it is an automatically generated basic report.

With that being said, I don't feel like our service is a good fit for your needs. We operate on a first in, first out basis. Your needs seem to be after a more dedicated one-on-one resource. Our service isn't setup for that.'

Let me be clear, they are not experts and I am wholly appalled that they treat prospective customers in this unprofessional manner. Keep away from Task Husky.
