The order was placed from Europe. Communication was very clear, Takaski remained in touch regarding delivery timeline throughout the process. The products arrived as scheduled. They even included some nice snacks.

I was after a very specific item (a Pocari Sweat drinking bottle) that I was only able to find on one other website that would ship to Sweden, and to even place an order I'd have to make an account, but for some reason even that didn't work.
I kept looking, and found that Takaski had the same item. Since the shipping was cost was (understandably) high, I decided to buy more than just the bottle in order to reach the minimum amount for free international shipping, which had an estimated arrival time of 2-4 weeks.
I placed the order on the 1st of October, (it was the 2nd of October in Japan at the time) and shortly after that I received an email from their customer service saying that they were upgrading my shipping option to a higher tier, completely for free. This had an estimated arrival time of 5-10 days, which is a huge difference. And not only that, but they even included additional free samples of their products.
I picked up my package today (7th of October) and I'm excited to try everything I've ordered!
I would give 6 stars, if I could!

Placed an order with Takaski for some health items that were made in Japan. Was initially recommended by a close friend to order it from Takaski and we went with it.

We understood from the beginning that there was a slight delay in the delivery process due to the high demand and we were completely fine with that. We chose the normal delivery service for our order.

After a week or so, we got an email update from Kyoko, a staff from customer relationship management. Our order was upgraded to a faster delivery option which was appreciated. The delivery of our parcel was smooth and we receive it in good condition. In the parcel, our order came with some free samples which was given as a token of appreciation. It was a really nice gesture from the staff in Takaski and it really showed the Japanese Omotenashi in taking care of their customers.

Overall, we were very satisified with our purchase and definately happy with the services. Thank you and look forward to future purchases with Takaski.

What a great site: prompt service, no duty fees to Canada and they even upgraded my order delivery to a faster service with no additional cost. All the products were packaged very good. I've ordered twice for this vendor. The quality of the product is excellent and so is the customer service. One parcel was sent airmail and the second order was sent by sea, due to its size. Both arrived with in the set time frame. I enjoy the free food samples and so does my mother.

My Karate class also enjoy the small kitkats that I share at Christmas time.

Highly recommended that you buy quality Japanese products from this vendor.

At first, I was worried that my products might be rejected by US customs and asked Kyoko by email. She gave me a link that showed my products were sent to USPS from the customs and delivery details. Surprisingly I received the products quickly. Even they gave me many complimentary snacks. Each time I sent an email to Kayoko, she promptly replied with correct answers. What an excellent service!

I have made orders in excess of $100 a couple of times, but the way in which Takasaki helped me resolve my most recent issue really convinced me to write this review.

In order to understand what the company did for me, however, I need to briefly explain the issue I had first.

I placed a large order in March of this year (2021). I understood and anticipated a delayed delivery because A. I had chosen the slow shipping time (ETA of 1-3months) and B. I knew of the Covid-related shipping and delivery back-ups worldwide.

I, nevertheless, expected my order to arrive by mid to late June. July came along and there was still no word about my delivery, so I contacted Takasaki who mentioned that the delay may because of Covid "issues," so I waited more.

I continually tracked my package and noticed it had entered the US customs by mid-July, sure enough, but my package never moved from there. I waited until early September, and no new information was provided for my package. Contacting my local postal delivery was an extreme nuisance since I could not get a hold of a live person, nor were the phone recordings or online information useful. In fact, this just made me feel worse.

I, thus, reached out to Takasaki with my problem. They agreed that the wait time was indeed too long and that they would look into it on their end.

Roughly a month later (mid October), I finally received good news from Takasaki: they reshipped all my orders with no additional cost to me; they upgraded my delivery from standard to EMS (a couple of days delivery time vs a couple of months) for no additional cost, AND they generously added numerous snack "gifts" too!

I was both amazed and surprised at the speed and level of kindness Takasaki extended to me in resolving this issue. This was unprecedented. Hassle free and supportive, it was one of those rare occasions that I felt as if a "family member" was helping me to resolve my issues.

This experience has renewed my faith in this company, and I wholeheartedly recommend this company to any customer. You will certainly not regret it!
