Not the fastest way to get to Istanbul, but that was the whole point. You really appreciate the distance, the changing landscape and the different cultures en route. And Istanbul is a really incredible city.
Great adventure
Excellent organisation
A great experience of different cultures, architecture and cuisine
The product delivered was as advertised and fully lived up to expectations. Would recommend this to anyone - even silver-haired folks who want to do something different before they get too old.
Good value compared with other adventures and a good hotel selection. The quality mark reflects the limitations of Romania and Bulgaria, not the organiser.
Epic journey, well organised by company. We would recommend them and would also consider using them again.
Fantastic itinerary, excellent customer service, brilliant travel guidance notes and first class hotels. Everything 100%
We wanted to recreate the London Istambul route by train and staying more days in each city and got exactly that
Excellent bespoke service; a manageable and varied rail itinerary. All queries were addressed quickly and efficiently (in safe hands!).
Seamless itinerary. Good quality hotels.
Great service from Tailor made rail
Amazing experience
We were very pleased with the service, trains booked and hotels chosen.
A really exciting and interesting way for two very old friends to get to Istanbul without the hassle of an airport!
Well organised train timetable and hotel choices.
Well planned itinerary, with a good range of well positioned hotels for stop off days. Accessing night trains and resolving the vaguaries of the Bulgarian rail system seemed to present no problems. As I am blind and disabled the tickets were easily accessible and the instructions clear.
Booking was a breeze and we made some modifications which they were happy to accommodate. Tickets were posted and arrived in good time in a handy little card wallet. Will use them again.
Excellent experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Tailor Made Rail for a well thought out and organized rail travel experience.
Great trip . Well organised .
