Arrived on time and in great shape. Looks great on our wall. My wife loves it.

My key cards quit working and when I contacted the company I was told I had two options. Buy a master key card to reset the keys or purchase an item to break into the shelf. I purchased the Mastercard. It did work and open my shelf, but I was unable to re-key the cards so now I have an open shelf that I can’t even get to lock closed. Wasted $250. Do not recommend this item.

This is supposed to be a gun safe but it doesn't open every time, which could be a problem in a home invasion/self defense situation. I have programmed my fingerprint in (actually three fingers) and it often takes several times to get the safe to unlock. Also, when there is a gun in there, you have to push on it to get it open. When it's empty, it just opens, which also is counterintuitive in a panic/self defense situation. If you want storage it is probably workable. If you want it for home protection, it is not ideal.

Product is good but service sticks. Took 2 tries to get a device to unlock a frame with dead batteries. So double the cost.

One star because ZERO Stars is not an option. Never EVER by from Tactical Traps. Horrible, HORRIBLE Customer Service!!! Product was received damaged. After seeing lack of quality, I just wanted to return item for refund. I was told they would first send me a replacement, then I could return item. In what Universe does this make sense? In the meantime, I shipped damaged item back, only for it to be returned to me as undeliverable. $70 shipping...gone! I contacted them so many times I lost track. After months of meaningless excuses I received a refund after I got PayPal involved. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY from this TRAP... TACTICAL TRAPS or you may regret doing business with them like I did. Learn from other people's mistakes. 0/5 F- Horrible HORRIBLE Experience.

The item I purchased is The Tactical Fireplace Mantle 6ft and it was tooooo big for my wall. We call it big stupid. I had to take it down and now i’m trying to get it converted into a sofa table.

Overall, I am very pleased with my shelf. I purchased the 22” version. 2 things that would improve the design,
1. A usb chargeable lock mechanism with an external charging port.
2. The wall support was 16” edge to edge. I ad to use 1 hollow wall anchor.
Otherwise, very happy!

I purchased the short & long shelves and the workmanship and quality are amazing 👏

This is my 3rd purchase with the company and like usual I'm really impressed! Yeah, it didn't ship as fast as Amazon but I'd rather wait a couple days extra for quality then buy junk. The products they offer are real furniture and something I'm proud to display in my home. And I'm a picky guy.

Received a firearm shelf and the foam was too small to accommodate a mid size pistol. I emailed to ask about it and they wanted pictures so I took several and emailed them on 5/29/26. On 6/3/26 I got an email saying my ticket was closed! I emailed them same day and they responded and Again they
wanted more pictures so I took a few more. On 6/8/26 I received another email saying that my ticket was closed! I don’t think they have any intention on helping me.

Update!!
The manager reviewed my pictures and said that the foam they sent me was indeed too short and they are sending me the correct one!!

It’s now 6/22/26 and I have yet to receive my foam

It’s now 7/11/26 and still no Foam!!!

The shelf is nice. However, the locking system never worked. The directions and troubleshooting is horrible. I tried adjusting the hinges, replaced batteries fiddled with the locking pin. Zero, never worked. A complete waste of money.

Read the reviews. long wait times to receive orders.. not keeping parts on hand, been waiting 30 days already the site says it will be 7 -14 days for delivery.
I'm honestly just looking for a refund at this point. I can't believe this company is still in business in 2026.

I own several Tactical Traps products and have been very pleased with their performance. More importantly, however, on the rare occasion I’ve needed their customer service, it has always been first rate. Highly recommend.

After numerous phone calls and emails, I can say they finally have delivered. The quality and finish of the product were never in question. I agreed to a neutral rating upon delivery of the product after a lengthy and frustrating wait for the product following prompt payment.

The most expensive mistake I have ever made. I like the concept and decided to purchase one. I wasn't able to hang it right away and the batteries went dead. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get into it so I called the company and they said buy another battery pack. (Imagine that, spend more money!) I ordered the battery pack, and when it arrived, it's still would not open the shelf. I have never been so frustrated with a product in all my life. The idea is nice, but the design is terrible and you're pretty well stuck, if you have the misfortune like I did. Save the money!!
UPDATE: After receiving a response to my review, Tactical Traps, was NOT correct with their responce. Yes, it was a while since I ordered the shelf, however, I did reach out.. MARCH 2026!! This is where they told me they couldn't assist me. All I could do was buy more of their products which, in my original post, did NOTHING to fix the problem! Bottom line their product has a POOR design & should be worked out if they want to continue to charge such large prices.
TO TACTICAL TRAPS: While I appreciate you looking into the history of my purchase AFTER this review, why didn't you just do that when I called and asked you to help me. If you had put that much effort into assisting me, you wouldn't have received a FACTUAL review like this! AND Rebuking a review doesn't make your poorly designed product better!!

I have a shelf but the batteries went dead n I could t get it open because the charging wire to lock was bad. I never knew until I needed to use it. Good shelf n quality in all but I was told they had a FIRE N they don’t know if they have the part I need to get my box open if I need to in case my batteries went dead again. I really don’t want to mess up my wall again to get this box. So I hope they have a replacement because I don’t have anything to do with yall having a FIRE..My apologies but I paid yall too. Why must the customer suffer because yall had a fire in the replacements could be lost. This is very bad business. I was just getting ready to purchase 2 more for my new house but if yall have another FIRE again I need a replacement part imma be SHIT OUT OF LUCK AGAIN..😢😢

The shelf is attractive looking but we are constantly having to replace the batteries, which is no easy feat. It seems like every time we open the shelf the lock won't engage again. We do all the trouble shooting steps and ultimately end up replacing the batteries. After this last episode we're going to replace the batteries, close the door and no longer use it as a gun safe. It's now just a shelf. Bad design where the batteries are located. Sorry Tactical Traps, pretty to look at for functionality sucks.

Order # 352023,352025. Great experience! My very first time dealing with the company I was concerned 😟. It was heavily damaged in shipping, but they handled it professionally! They replaced the product and sent my other orders without incident or hassle! I would recommend tactical traps to anyone who needs gun concealment products! They make quality products and are top notch!

I ordered a tactical shelf, due to the holiday season, I waited until the 14 business days to reach out and check the status. I was told that my unit was complete, but they were waiting on hinges. I waited another 2 weeks and was told that they were waiting on parts (still?). As I was getting frustrated I said cancel my order, I'm no longer interested. I was put on hold and the rep stated that she "caught the manager in passing in the hall" and would mail out a unit that day. When it came, It was missing the foam insert. I mounted it, and it didn't work. I called and stated that I wanted to return the unit and get a refund. instead I was sent a troubleshooting link. No wanting to deal with this any longer, I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that I would get a call by the end of the day. Instead I got an email stating that, the "unit is no longer refundable because I mounted it" For the next several days I kept calling, asking to speak to a manager and every time I was lied to with the same lie of "They will call you by the end of the day" After 2 complaints with the BBB, I finally got a call back. I did get a phone call from a tech, that offered to help, but with no warning of the call, I was not at home, and couldn't get the help while I was in front of the unit. The manager (Nicole) was rude, and kept talking over me. I asked her why she never called me back after the Customer Service rep said that she would. Her lie was, that she was sick for a couple days and that the Customer Service reps work from home. If they work from home, how did they catch you in the hallway to get a unit mailed to me? Finally I raised my voice and told her to stop talking over me and to listen. I told her the unit didn't work. and I'd like a refund. She didn't even entertain the idea, her solution was to do a zoom call so a tech could verify that the unit didn't work. I'm not saying that unit didn't work when it shipped out, I'm saying that the unit doesn't work now. I did trouble shoot the unit with the link provided by the company, still nothing. Questioning ones Integrity does sit good with me. The unit was missing parts, It did not come with the foam insert, and it is supposed to come with lights. The lights are missing as well. Where is the quality control? If you watched the video I sent, you will see that there are no lights in the unit! If the unit was tested at the shop, why are so many parts missing? So I asked why no one was held accountable for not calling back, products that don't work, and missing parts to the unit. She got mad and hung the phone up on me, thus laving me holding a broken unit. I would strongly discourage anyone from getting any product from Tactical Traps, they are a fraud company and DO NOT lookout for there customers.

I have had my pistol shelf for six years. I recently stopped replacing batteries as recommended by Tactical Traps (my bad). Their support helped me to regain entry into the shelf to replace the batteries and get my shelf working again. They were very quick to respond to an email and provided great telephone support. Great quality product and awesome technical support.
