I recently purchased two restored bikes, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The bikes run wonderfully and it’s clear that a lot of care and attention went into restoring them.

The whole process was smooth and timely, and I really appreciated how professional and helpful the service was throughout. Even after the purchase, the support has been fantastic - whenever we had small fixes or questions, the help was quick and kind. Not to mention the fact that the money is donated ❤️.

We’ve used Paul a few times now for bike maintenance and have been really pleased. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and communicates quickly about the work that needs to be done. Love the videos that he sends to summarise the issues and the work that he is planning. He gave me good advice regarding changing my cassette and what was actually possible. He is very helpful with great advice. We will definitely continue to use him for our bike maintenance.

Paul's been looking after my bike for a while now, most recently adjusting brake cables before carrying out a full service. Reliable, local and friendly; highly recommended!

Used Swish Cycles as needed to change a flat tyre. Fast service and sound advice given. Only draw back... cost £30 considering it's 20 minute job, I really should learn and do it myself next time! But if you don't care about that .. definitely recommend Swish Cycle!

Paul recently serviced two bikes for us. And by service I mean a comprehensive overhaul after years of us not looking after them very well.

Just a drive way shop and a lovely guy. Incredibly informative and quick with replacing my tire. Gave me great advice on how my bike could be improved. I’ve been looking for a new bike and he has preowned bikes he fixes and then gives the proceeds to Woking food bank! Amazing experience. Highly recommend

Edit: I ended up buying a restored bike from here and it works perfectly. There are options for different needs and works perfectly for me to get to and from work. Smooth cycle of a much more expensive bike for £250. Would definitely recommend again!

Paul has been looking after my 20 year old Dawes Galaxy for many years and, since he sold me new Tifosi bike a couple of years ago, he has been looking after that one as well. I have always found him very helpful and knowledgeable. The bike runs sweetly and I have a better understanding. It is always a pleasure to seek his advice and take advantage of his excellent bike servicing.

Paul did a great job, sorting our son, with his first bike…the bike is awesome - looks as good as new and miles ahead of what we originally purchased online. Paul also gave us great advice and we will be sure to return.

Paul is amazing! My brake cable snapped and I went to him because his workshop was the closest one. I told him that my bike is my main way of getting to work and that I really needed it fixed quickly. The next day, he sent me videos explaining exactly what was wrong, what needed to be replaced, and how much it would cost. After I paid, the bike was ready the same day! Super friendly, honest, and fast service — Paul literally saved my life! Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Paul enough. I called for an emergency brake issue around closing time, Friday evening. My front brake was brake was broken and it was a clutching at straws moment as I was due to start the South Downs route early the next day. Paul stayed open late, fixed the issue, pointed out a couple of other issues so that I was ready for the next morning. Best for customer service, best for knowledge. Really top class!

A great experience again. Paul knows his stuff, is clearly passionate about bikes and their maintenance, and has developed a simple communication process so you know what's going on and what he's done.

Paul @Swish Cycles was great to work with. He helped set up my son's new MTB, after it had been packed poorly for delivery and needed some adjustments to the gears, seat-post and euro-config brakes - and gave it a proper PDI (post delivery inspection) and set-up service.
When every other bike shop was giving 4-week lead times, Paul moved mountains to fit us in (hitting his birthday deadline 🙌). The work was done quickly, reasonably priced and with excellent communication. A 5* service.

I recently purchased a fully reconditioned secondhand mountain bike for my granddaughter from Paul at Swish Cycles. The bike had been donated to him, and after refurbishing it, Paul sold it to me at a fair price. What impressed me most was that he donated the money I paid—after covering the cost of the replacement parts—to a local food bank charity.

Well done, Paul. It’s heartening to know there are still decent people out there.
