As a first time buyer, having just completed on a property, I did not know what to expect during this process, but with the help of Swift Solicitors, everything was a breeze. As a 1st timer selling my house I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out simple and straghtforward. I went online and searched for conveyance solicitors and found Conveyance Index. Once I answered a few questions I was provided with a list of Conveyancing Solicitor companies to choose from. As the purchase was chain free for both parties, I went and choose Swift Lawyers as the price was very reasonable compared to all the other quotes that I had. Faiz was my main contact person at Swift Lawyers who started the intital setup of my account. All forms and copy of my ID were via emails, this was convenient and perfect for me. There was only one form that needed to be signed, witness and posted. I had it sent via recorded delivery. All of this was completed with the help and assistance of Faiz, who was always on hand when I needed him. My assigned solicitor, Haider, started on my case just before exchange of contract which Faiz had already explained in out first intro call that Haider was to oversee that part of the process to completion. So thank you both! As all the required forms and questionaires were completed at the intial stage it was more of a waiting game for the buyers and their solicitors to complete on their searches, surveyors and raise any further questions about the house before exchange of contracts and moving date, and then moving onto completion. From start to finish it took 12 weeks to complete.
