A brilliant team -Easiest move ever! movers turned up right on time and were extremely professional throughout the entire moving process. They would not let us lift anything. they moved us across the country. They’re fast, super friendly and very helpful. This is the second move we have used Sunlight Removals Team,Highly Recommended.

Stay Away! Customer service is poor and attitude is poor

We chose Sunlight Removals as all others were fully booked and it has to be said the service particular from the manager is very poor.
- The survey that was done prior to booking and we were quoted for 3 plus fourth can free at a very competitive price. But on the day of moving the manager decided to charge us £600 extra for the fourth van against the pre provided invoice.
- we had booked a packing service and the company had only sent two people a day before to pack the whole house. In reality only 50% of the house was packed. We had to pack alongside the men.
- when we refused to pay the extra £600, we were threatened to not do the job and we were stuck as we had to get our stuff moved and had no option.
- the manager shouted and threatened us of some horrible things on the day, threatning us to unload all our stuff and leave it on our driveway. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
- when we reached the new place halfway into unloading they demanded balance payment in cash upfront again we were not notified and this wasn’t our expectation.
All in all this amounted to a very stressful moving day for the entire family and I cannot stress enough how you should not use this company.
- they damaged our fridge and refused to pay damaged, damages to appliances, furniture, attitude, blackmail, I’m actually shocked how this company can be allowed to trade. On challenging them to pay for the fridge damage, the manager said he will see us in the court !!

Beware! I paid for 2 'professional' packers to pack my furniture and 3 removal men to help me move into my new place. I'd sent the firm all necessary details, including a detailed video, showing all the items in my flat.
In the end one man turned up and his idea of 'packing' was to throw everything into boxes and tape them up. I mean, clothes, still on their hangers, into boxes. I've been opening the boxes today and have found many many broken plates, glasses etc. Even then, I subsequently noticed that the 'packer' had left some cupboards completely untouched!
But that's not the worst part. On moving day, only 2 mean turned up, not the paid for 3. They turned up 3 hours early, then after a short while they complained to me that the van was 'too full' and I would have to pay £200 EXTRA for a second van. This was followed by veiled threats that if i didn't stump up the cash, my property would not be going anywhere! This van that was due to arrive in 15 minutes took 3 HOURS to arrive. Imagine that, it's moving day and you have to spend 3 hours in your flat with 2 strangers, constantly demanding more money from you! When it did arrive, the people driving it were no help. It was then that I was told, I was responsible for picking the optimal route to my new address and would have to pay extra for the mileage. I firmly believe there never were the numbers of people promised.
Expect puppy dog eyes, expect to be told that they're 'not like that ' and 'just want to get you moved' but above all, expect to be gouged for money and intimidated into handing over £100's extra. Or even better, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
This is the only one of these reviews I've ever written but I feel so enraged with the borderline criminal operation this firm operates so that others may not fall victim to them

Price was good. Effort of team was excellent but It was all way to rushed. On packing; the carpets were all very dirty and they seemed to throw everything in. On unpacking it was worse ; the mattress was soaking, a whole box of glass wear was broken as well as several other items and they did not arrive until 5pm on the day meaning everybody was working until very late. Fed back but got no response.
