We are an Indian-Bangladeshi grocery store in Den Haag, the Netherlands. Established in the year 2003, and are proud to be one of the favorite Indian sub-continental store in The Netherlands and across the borders. Sunderban is the only grocery shop in mainland Europe who also sells all fresh and frozen products online through the webshop and deliver straight to your doorstep on the same day in the Hague and sarrounding areas or next day in the rest of Netherlands and Belgium. We are the largest seller of Indian and Bangladeshi fish like Hilsa (ilish) fish, Rohu, katla, Pabda, King fish, Black tiger shrimps, Lobster from Bangladesh and many more varieties of fresh water fishes. Fresh goat meat is one of our popular product. Sunderban is the most trusted place for all typical Bengali products such as Gobindobhog rice in Holland for the last two decades. Excellent, timely, and very courteous response from the store. I was very sure that I had ordered and paid for two items that they did not deliver --- but on checking I realized, that there was a mistake (that I made) during ordering and that the two items were never ordered. In short, the store was not at fault; yet they processed the response in a very professional and courteous manner. Thank you

The delivery was on time and very well packed. Please increase the number of goods in your website and relook the amount of delivery required to get the free delivery for meat and fish products. We can wait for few more days for the delivery to come if that helps you to couple multiple deliveries together. Otherwise all good experience so far.

Really disappointing to find bad…
Really disappointing to find bad product. Rohu eggs were bad, green in colour. Also have photos if you need. This is two times in a row that I received bad products from you.

Sorry to know that you got bad products twice. Please let us know what else, other than Rohu eggs was not up to expectation. We will refund if any product is not good. However, the green colour of Rohu eggs not means that isn't good. Rohu eggs are normally slightly green coloured. It is good one. Our guarantee.

Thank you for your order and for your feedback. About the price, we understand your concern. There is lots of direct and indirect costs for packing and delivery of fresh and frozen products. And for all damages and missing by courier service we do refund our self as no perishable item covers by insurance.This is the reason that no any other small shop like to provide this types of country wide delivery service.
Therefore we have to spread those cost in the products price to survive as a business and continue this unique service.

We can understand that cart value for fresh and frozen items free delivery looks high. It's because the thermal boxes and packaging cost are quite expensive. That's why we are the only grocery shop in Holland, who doing this type of home delivery via courier service. To continue with this fresh/frozen delivery service and keep it as a business model we have to cover the high costs we make. Meanwhile, when the order amount covers our costs than we compensate automatically with 5% or 10% discounts by the checkout.
Hopefully you will understand our difficulties.
