Great resource for ToC for UK Nursing
Great resource for ToC for UK Nursing Council. Lots of questions - a bit more challenging than the actual ToC but covered many topics and I actually learnt a lot of useful information I'll need working in the UK as a nurse. They gave excellent rationales with their answers plus links to the references.

Very enjoyable and some "new" knowledge with a little surprise ias well
I enjoyed both the lecture and the questions. They were challenging - but relevant. The "surprise" was the evaluation of the research at the end!

As a person with ME\CFS I found the study unit superficial
As a person with ME\CFS I was able to complete the questions and obtain the certificate with no problem. In most of the case studies you required only a superficial knowledge of ME\CFS and where the desease had not been previously diagnosed did not expect the medical professional to order tests to elimanate other alternative diagnoses. All of the examples started with a case of viral disease and this is not the case with many if not most ME\CFS where the existance of a contributing viral desease can be determined by looking for specific antibodies or from taking a detailed medical case history but is not to obvious. Pacing was not mentioned once as the main tretment option and one which medical staff must be able to guide in. Also the full range of specialist medical consultants and their function should be discussed . All in all a very superficial learning unit.
