The merchant dashboard gives us great visibility into transaction statuses and settlement times. It's a highly stable infrastructure. I'd give it 5 stars if they offered instant payouts for a slightly lower premium, but standard settlement is fine.
Smooth API integration
Integrating the API into our custom checkout flow was incredibly straightforward. Webhooks are reliable, and the sandbox environment made testing the bank transfer flows painless. Excellent developer documentation.
Otherwise, we have been using STRYD for a while now and it has been easy to manage. The bank payments go off without a hitch and the verification process gives us added confidence.
We've had a positive experience so far. Transactions have been reliable, and the system is simple enough for both our team and our customers.
Great infrastructure, wish onboarding was faster
The low-fee ACH processing has been a massive win for our subscription billing service. The only downside was the compliance and onboarding process took a few days longer than expected, but customer support was communicative throughout.
Reliable and Straightforward Everything has worked as expected so far. The payment process is simple, and I like that customers can pay directly from their bank without any unnecessary steps.
The service works well for bank payments, although I had a few questions during the setup. Customer support was helpful and answered them clearly.
We switched our WooCommerce store to Stryd for our high-ticket items to bypass traditional credit card fees. Saving over 2% per transaction adds up fast when you're moving volume. The Plaid integration is seamless, and customers trust the checkout flow.

I purchased a Stryd Next Gen which suffered a complete hardware failure within the first 6 months. The device no longer broadcasts any Bluetooth signal and cannot be detected or paired with any watch or phone.
I have spent over one month following all troubleshooting steps requested by Stryd support: multiple devices (Garmin and COROS), different phones, full resets, official app pairing, and independent BLE scans (LightBlue). The device simply does not emit BLE.
Despite this being a clear hardware failure within warranty, Stryd has not offered a replacement or refund. Instead, they keep insisting on video calls and repeated demonstrations, which do not change the fact that a device that does not broadcast Bluetooth cannot be paired by definition.
As an EU consumer, this experience is unacceptable. EU law is clear: failures within the first 6 months are presumed manufacturing defects and must be resolved efficiently.
At the time of writing, the issue remains unresolved. Very disappointed with how warranty cases are handled.
