I brought a fire with them which was delivered. I tried to return the first and due to me emailing five hours past the 14 days they refused to return. I explained that I have been poorly but still nothing. Worst customer service experience ever
Even one star for this company is too many.
I ordered a fire surround online and then phoned the company to see if I could coincide delivery as this item was required for a holiday home that isn’t occupied all the time.
When telephoning, the options on the phone say for an update press 2 then it plays music and appears to keep you on hold whilst it quotes an email address. The you get cut off.. after several attempts I pressed option 1 which takes you through to sales. A gentlemen picks up the phone and I tell him I’ve had to press option one because i keep getting cut off......Rudeness doesn’t even cut it.. I’m told by this person that I’ve not been cut off and I try to explain that isn’t the impression the on hold system gives.
So Ive now placed the order and parted with my cash and at this point I’m still trying to resolve delivery... The sellers then tells me, you will get a card through your door to rearrange delivery if your not there... but that’s my point I’m not going to be there, I want to see if I could coincide a delivery ensuring Ive given you plenty of notice. His reply was cancel your order because we cant do this!!! I said ok how do I cancel my order he then says with glee I will do that for you now and without a bye or leave he puts down the phone.... What??? Rude is an understatement!! Anyway, I then look on the internet to see the fire advertised at another three online companies all of which are the same company, same man etc etc.. I then find another company called installaflame and spoke to a gentleman who tells me that he can organise the fire delivery with the same supplier. Installaflame, were helpful and actually wanted my business, I wasn’t just a faceless customer. What a difference.. You the person answering the phone for these same trading group as \Stove megastore and Fireplace Megastore could learn some customer service from this company.. May I also add if the public are such a nuisance to you then find another job. Also 3 telephone calls threatening legal action because I left a honest review about the service... Disgusting
