Ordered glass but never received, should have checked here first. Don’t reply to emails and don’t answer the phone.

Company is registered at company house to Richard Musgrove.

I ordered a number of items online in mid May. I have the order confirmed, the money was taken yet nothing at all has been delivered. Emails are ignored and it's pointless trying to phone - always 'busy dealing with other calls'.

Steer clear!!

Sadly I can't award 'zero stars'. Ordered 27th May, 3 attempts to contact them by email, both independently and via their website, multiple fruitless calls to their number with the message that the mailbox is full and a gleeful 'goodbye' before being cut off.
Do not use this company!!! Next step trading standards and my bank to try to recover my money.
Clearly acting as a clone of another reputable company.

Ordered replacement glass one month ago today, No phone calls answered, no emails answered so decided to dispute transaction with bank. Then today after waiting 30 days Hermes delivered a parcel from stove glass-direct. The bad news it was in about ten pieces. Poor packaging indeed. Requested my money back.

-Wish I’d read the reviews. They are quick to take your money - but I have never received the glass. Tried several times to email - no answer. If you ring it just goes to ‘ answer machine is full’ . I am now trying to get my money back via the bank

This company is a scam and should not be confused with the genuine "Stoveglass Direct" NOTICE NO HYPHON. if you look at the companies house records Stoveglass-Direct is reported as a "Dormant Company" not having traded since incorporation. I like others placed an order in good faith beliving that it had been placed with StoveGlass Direct NO HYPHON whose web site they have copied with minor changes. Stoveglass-Direct take your money and just dont send the goods or respond to e mails and their phone always goes to an answer phone saying that the "Mail Box is Full" I intend reporting them to Trading Standards as what they are doing is I belive fraudulent.

Con man, had my money, no sign of goods, impossible to contact, thieving git !

They were quick to send the replacement stove glass I ordered but when I wanted to return it, they did not answer the phone and the mailbox was full. Several emails sent and no answer. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! scammers.

Same experience as others! Money taken . Dispatch sent next day . Nothing arrives No way of communicating. Got in touch with my bank after giving them over 4 weeks . Goods suddenly arrive once I’d been in touch with my bank for a refund. Bank are now taking the money back and I’m left with a piece of glass no longer needed ! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Ordered 10th March, email confirming shipment 11th March. No goods received despite phone calls and emails. Phone calls unanswered, message box full!!!
Commenced chargeback and received refund from bank 29th March. Items then delivered 1st April although Hermes site still shows "item expected". Understandably bank has now debited the refund. Clearly my experience is similar to countless others, indeed many remain out of pocket. I stress again, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING, THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES.

I would also leave a 0 Star Rating if possible. I ordered my goods 16th Jan 2021, they debited my Credit Card immediately and then I couldn't get in contact with them. As it was cold and I needed to get my Wood Burner working, I sourced the stove glass I needed from another supplier. I got around to raising a dispute for this with my Credit Card company around the 23rd March and amazingly my goods suddenly arrived (so only about 2.5 months after the initial order placement). As you can't communicate with this company I've reluctantly decided to keep the glass as I only foresee even more hassle if I were to attempt returning it back to them. I really haven't got the time for that (who would?). Please take my advice and stay well clear of this company.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Order placed on 31st March 2021. On 6th April 2021 was advised that item would be shipped on 7th April. I was given a MyHermes tracking number, and to this day, MyHermes have not been given the order for delivery.
I'm now asked my credit card company to step in.

Goods turned up Saturday

Ordered glass , paid, no delivery , no tracking, ,avoid ,,scam, contacting bank and trading standards ,,

Ordered glass on 14th March, and received a confirmation invoice, stating that delivery would be 3-4 working days. Allowing for pandemic delays, I waited for 6 days, and still no glass. Hermes tracking said they were awaiting it from supplier. Tried phoning and emailing SG-D several times but phones not answered, and emails not replied to. I then sought recompense from my credit card company, and this came through a few days ago. I had emailed SG-D to cancel my order, but no acknowledgement received. Lo and behold, the glass turned up today but having bought the glass elsewhere, I rejected the delivery and asked for it to be returned to sender. Absolutely apalling service and no communication whatsoever.

Ordered 4 weeks ago - payment taken - still no glass.
No response to email or phone ** BE WARNED DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - COMPLETE COWBOY **

Now involving credit card company to sort out payment

Been waiting for 3 weeks, no glass.
Will contact credit company.
What a waste of time.
