I placed my order on the 10th of October and afterwards, for some reason, decided to look at the company's reviews and was quite alarmed by what I found. Expecting the worst, I even looked up how to make a chargeback on my debit card when the time came. On the 14th of October my stove glass was delivered well packaged and in perfect condition. The price was the cheapest I could find and the delivery time very good. I couldn't possibly give anything less than five stars and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again - I have to take as I find and I found them very good. Perhaps they could improve their telephone service it might give customers more confidence.

First time writing a review, but felt we had to.
Were unsure whether to order from this company because of the reviews, however, we decided to place an order & were absolutely delighted with the whole end to end experience, confirmation of order, notification of delivery, actual delivery & the quality of the product. We will definitely use this company again

I ordered a standard glass item on September 12th. The initial acknowledgment indicated a 3-5 day delivery window, yet as of today, I'm still awaiting its arrival. I've made multiple attempts to reach out, including two emails and two voicemails, seeking tracking information, but to no avail. Due to this delay, I opted to purchase the item from Amazon yesterday. Not only did they provide timely delivery, but the item was also £2 less expensive. Disappointing experience.

Ordered and paid on 17th June, follow up email on 7th July, promised delivery, never heard from them again. Scammers do not use. Don't confuse with other Company with similar name.

Same as others state. Ordered glass received a invoice. But never got any delivery information or tracking. Called but always goes to answer phone never get back to your emails. Think this place needs shutting down to be honest avoid.

Avoid at all costs. The company accepts your order, takes payment, and then sends a "your order has been processed, expect delivery within 3 days email" and then nothing. I have been waiting over 2 weeks, emails and telephone calls go unanswered.

If I could give minus stars, I would. stoveglass-direct.co.uk are nothing more than a scam.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid like the plague. I ordered a glass front for my log burner nearly 3 weeks ago. Delivery 3-5 days promised. Paid immediately. Since then I have phoned 14 times and sent 3 emails. No response at all. Will pursue to get money back if necessarily through small claims court. They are disgraceful.

Richard has no pride in his business. Sends the wrong thing and doesn’t respond.

I haven't received the item yet and the number called always goes to a registered voicemail to leave details for a quick call back. I also sent various emails with the details of the order without success (not even a call to say why it is taking so much time). Definitely not happy and reading other reviews, I think I am not the only one.

Do NOT buy anything from this company. They keep your money and don't send the goods. They don't answer emails or the phone. I am £63 out of pocket.
Like others, I should have read reviews for this company before I place the order.

Paid £49 for 2 pieces of stove glass. After nearly 2 weeks without any feedback I contacted Richard Musgrove who apologised and promised to dispatch asap. Received notification from Evri (aka Hermes, so not a good sign). Then Evri said that they were returning a parcel to sender, no calling card or info to prove they actually tried to deliver or what the parcel actually was. Contacted stoveglass-direct but absolutely nothing in response. Not sure which is worse, Evri or stoveglass-direct, but while Evri are incompetent, stoveglass-direct is clearly corrupt and once they have your money you can whistle. It amounts to theft really. Will try chargeback scheme now then Trading Standards. Bottom line is to pay a bit more and avoid scummy businesses.

Received two pieces of replacement stove glass in February 2022. One piece was smashed. Attempted to contact via phone, email to no avail. Got in touch with trading standards and sent a letter they advised. Then had a phone call from Richard who apologised , said they had been very busy. So he agreed to send another piece and emailed to that effect.
That was in March, it still hasn't arrived and they continue to ignore emails and phone messages. So I am without a piece of stove glass and out of pocket £45 and there is nothing you can do because they just won't comply. Steer clear. They are crooks.

Very bad, same as other reviews. Order received incomplete. Twice informed missing item would be sent out. Never received. Avoid.

Look at these reviews. What a bunch of made up names.
Nobody recently seems to have had an issue with these people. I’ve been regularly phoning and emailing. NO response whatsoever. I’m still £200 out of pocket.
PLEASE, be careful with these people. Check them on Google Maps. Very unprofessional.

Foolishly I didn’t look at reviews first!!
I placed an order for replacement glass for my wood burning stove.
Immediately received notification of order, then notification my order being processed, then an email with tracking.
Only problem is it all stops there!
You can’t get into the tracking.
I have emailed them to ask for useable tracking info, but of course have received no response at all.
I hate to say it but we are pensioners, I’m £40+ down and currently with unusable wood burner.
I’m horrified that this person is conning so many people time after time without being stopped and I’m so upset I fell for it too.

Wel - eventually - my stove glass arrived! Hermes or should I say - Evri their new name! Delivered in on Saturday 26 March.
Totally too late to be useful!
It was required for a couple of elderly people, who needed it sooner. So I had to purchase one from forstoveglass in Dorset.
An absolutely brilliant company, cheaper and quicker!! Highly recommended!
My purchase from stoveglass-direct is a total loss! Still don't recommend them!

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. This company is so bad , Don’t reply to Emails, don’t respond to phone calls and don’t deliver the goods . I have asked for a Refund as was able to get replacement glass delivered with in 24 hours from Saltfire . We are pensioners and needed the glass to heat our house as could not use stove without it. Worst experience ever with a online company !

Failed to deliver order, now 8wks over due. Initially and almost straight away advised that order had been despatched and to expect to be received within 5days. Have chased and chased with emails, initially some lame excuses about delivery issues and item was being resent, latterly no response and phone message box is full. Have raised a charge back request with my bank. Avoid like the plague

Shocking service. Took nearly £50 from me for replacement stove glass, got an instant email saying dispatched. This eas 23rd Feb. To date nothing received. Their telephone number goes straight to a permanently full voicemail. No replies to emails. They have basically stolen my money. Looks like many other people have also been scammed. Just avoid at all costs, and don't confuse with the other company with the same name, less the hyphen. Just avoid, avoid, avoid. I am trying to get my money back with no joy.
