Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, clean and tidy space.

I was not at all familiar with the facility and the manager (Kas?) was very patient and polite in familiarising me with procedure and layout of the premises. She also provided guidance re the purchase of boxes and a lock.

Staff very helpful and the check in and out are super smooth.

The lady who works at the south Oakleigh storage was very very helpful.

Never ever deal with these thieves. If I could give them minus a billion, I would.
They knew I'd gone overseas for 5 years and although I never ever missed a single payment, they sent me an e-mail saying they needed to open my storage facility and move me to another one and if I refused, they'd break in without my permission and this is exactly what they did.
On my return, I found that most of my property was missing. They pretended they knew nothing about it and even though I had taken out insurance with them, it was my word against theirs.
I saw my cuckoo clock, which was a very unusual design, for sale on Facebook Marketplace and when I contacted the people who were selling my clock they immediately blocked me on Facebook.
How many other people has this disgusting, thieving company done this to?

When my wife and I moved to our new home in East Bentleigh we were looking for a storage space to store some of our stuff that could not go into the new home temporarily. It had to be as close to our home and reasonably priced for the storage size that we had in mind. We found this in Storage King in Clayton which is conveniently located and easily accessible due to the light traffic around the area. The management and staff were very helpful in assisting us in deciding upon the right size of the storage room and for the simple rules and regulations in entering and exiting the storage area.

On 18 Jan 2022 4:39pm I called Storage King Clayton on their number 03 8808 1460 asking quotation for 6m2 unit. She quoted me $135 per month + 1st month free which is their current promotion as advertised in their website. On top of this standard deal she said she can offer 2nd month free as this was the last unit at this size. I asked again can i go inpect the site first on 21st Jan before commiting. She said she cant guarentee as it is the last unit. I took her words with trust and place $50 to reserve it. When i was there on 21st to do site inpection plus paperwork, I was told by staff onsite they cant deliver the deal sold by their customer support to me. They cant offer 2nd month for free. Plus there is never their last unit at this size. I'm not sure if deception a common practise for Storage King just to get business and maybe comission. I cant believe this is happening in Australia plus from a big organization. I hope Storage King management team will take this incident seriously and do necessary corrective action. Your staff's false statement over the phone that lead me to believe is true and put down deposit is already breach of Australia Consumer Law section 18 - Misleading or deceptive conduct.

UPDATE
On 1 Feb 2022 4:06pm a representative from Storage King rang me to follow up my complain/review/feedback. He hear me out and bring it back for investigation. By today 4 Feb 2022 12:04pm, i received call back from him saying they found where the error was and agreed to honor the initial agreement. I'm glad Storage King attend to my mishap professionally and takes valid complain/review/feedback seriously. This is the kind of standard I expect from an established service provider. Well done Storage King and thank you. Your action has restored my confidence in the company. May my incident be good training material to strengthen your team further.

I was to start my storage on March 1, 2021, because of the construction to be done to my place. However, the construction began 2 days earlier. I called Storage King to ask if the storage is already available. I was advice that the storage I rented was already available for use and the extra two day will not be charge. Thanks Storage King.
