Recently, I had a patio door installed. So pleased with the workmenship. The staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend St Helens Windows.

We had an orangery built about 7 years ago and it was perfect so when we needed new windows and a veranda recently we didn’t consider going anywhere else. We know we could have got the things cheaper but we wanted quality and reliability in the workmanship. From the initial contact until the job was completed we were not disappointed. The plans for the windows and the veranda was discussed to our specification which was a little unorthodox but designed and made
to exactly how we wanted. On the agreed date the guys turned up to start work. They were 3 of the most polite, considerate and tidiest tradesmen we had had doing any work for us. They were also efficient and worked solidly for 2 days. Our veranda is very special and I would recommend getting one if you are considering a summer house. We needed a couple of things doing after the installation due to some minor snags and this is where “Mike” came in not only was he professional and meticulous but he was a thorough gentleman. with respect to not only the products but to us. He is a fantastic ambassador for St Helens windows . All the staff we dealt with were very nice. I would have no hesitation in ordering from this company in the future should we require anything else (porch possible)Show less

Just had a new front door fitted very happy with customer service from start to finish, I even asked for lyndsey to revists my home and go through the design of the door with my partner before we went ahead and she did no problem. Was told the door would be fitted within 6 weeks after the surveyor had been a week later but infact it was fitted earily than this and we love it ! Would highly recommend.

From the initial quote visit to the various stages of the build we had nothing but an excellent service. The bricklayer, surveyor, fitters and plasterer provided a very professional and extremely competent service. Our new porch looks stunning. The office kept us updated each step of the way and were most helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this company. You will not be disappointed.

Well what can I say st Helens windows are an excellent company everything was spot on from start to finish. From communication to insolation nothing was too much trouble.
I had a new front door and back door fitted on the 10/06/22 the fitter came at 9.30am and was finished at 1.30pm. Very experienced friendly and very tidy.
Will definitely be having them back soon to have my windows fitted.

We are now sitting ‘outside, but inside’ thank you for our lovely new conservatory. The teams of builders, installers, electricians, plasterers & locksmiths were all friendly and professional. Thanks to them all.

Just had an engineer Mike who is new to company out to fix a problem bifold doors we had fitted last year. He was very polite and professionable seems to have solved the problem although if we do have to call again as we have a couple of times we always get attentive service immediately keep up the good work all at St helens windows

We have had most of the windows in our house replaced by St. Helens Windows, and have just gone back to them for our final two windows, having been pleased by the standard of work and professionalism in the past. The work has just been completed. Scott was polite, friendly and efficient. The job was done neatly and well; I have just read a previous review, and from that a few others, and doubt that they are genuine. If so, they must be writing about a different company.

MY DAUGHTER MADE THE UNFORTUNATE MISTAKE OF BUYING A DOOR OF THIS COMPANY.BEING A SINGLE MOTHER OF 2 AND WORKING FULL TIME SHE ASKED MY HUSBAND AND I TO HELP HER FIND A COMPANY TO FIT A NEW COMPOSITE DOOR AS HER OLD ONE WAS INSECURE,MY HUSBAND LOOKED AT THIS COMPANIES WEBSITE BUT THE DOOR SECTION DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY SO WE HAD TO ASK FOR A HOME VISIT,LIVING 25 MILES FROM MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE WE HAD TO TRAVEL TO HELP HER ON THE DAY THE SALES PERSON WAS VISITING , THE SALES BOY LOOKED LIKE HE WAS A COUPLE OF DAYS OUT OF COLLEGE HE MEASURED THE DOOR AND GAVE MY DAUGHTER A CATALOGUE TO PICK A DOOR HE NEVER GAVE US ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOOR SO MY HUSBAND ASKED ABOUT THE LOCKING SYSTEM HE SAID IT WAS GOOD HE OBVIOUSLY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OR COULD NOT BE BOTHERED.OUR DAUGHTER WAS KEEN TO BUY LOCAL BUT WE TOLD HER TO HAVE A THINK BEFORE BUYING.AFTER A WEEK OR SO SHE DECIDED TO BUY FROM ST HELENS WINDOWS AFTER LEAVING A DEPOSIT SHE WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 2 MONTHS BEFORE IT WOULD BE FITTED 3 MONTHS LATER AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS THEY ARRANGED A FITTING DATE WE HAD TO VISIT MY DAUGHTER AGAIN ON THIS DAY AS SHES UNEASY WITH STRANGERS IN HER HOME ,THE MAN TURNED UP 2 HOURS LATE IN A PEOPLE CARRIER ?AND STUGGLED TO GET THE DOOR OUT AFTER 4 HOURS OF SPITTING ON MY DAUGHTERS STEP AND CONSTANTLY ANSWERING HIS PHONE HE SAID THE JOB WAS DONE AND LEFT WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION OF HOW THE DOOR LOCKS ETC.
MY HUSBAND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE DOOR WAS VERY STIFF TO LOCK AND WAS NOT FITTED STRAIGHT MY DAUGHTER SAID SHE WOULD CALL THEM TO ASK ABOUT DEFECTS.WE LEFT OUR DAUGHTER TO DEAL WITH THIS.A WEEK WENT BY WHEN OUR DAUGHTER CALLED TO SAY TO SAY THE DOOR WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN AND SHES BEEN USING THE BACKDOOR FOR NEARLY A WEEK MY HUSBAND TOLD HER NOT TO PAY BALANCE UNTIL THEY SORTED THE PROBLEMS BUT APPARENTLY ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION SHE RECEIVED A CALL ASKING FOR-FULL PAYMENT SHE MENTIONED THE ISSUES BUT THE WOMAN INSISTED ON PAYMENT AND WAS VERY RUDE SHE SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL TO DISCUSS THE DOOR ISSUES.ITS NOW BEEN NEARLY FIVE MONTHS AND ST HELENS WINDOWS INITIALLY SENT A MAN OUT FOR TEN MINUTES HE LOOKED AT THE DOOR AND SAID HE WILL CALL BACK LATER STILL WAITING.
MY DAUGHTER HAS CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES EACH TIME THEY MAKE EXCUSES FROM DENYING THEY DID THE JOB TO PROMISING THEY WILL ARRANGE A VISIT ,THIS COMPANY IS HORRENDOUSLY DISHONEST MY DAUGHTER HAS NOT USED HER FRONT DOOR FOR NEARLY 5 MONTHS SHES SPENT ALL HER MONEY AND THIS COMPANY COULDNT CARE LESS ONCE THEY'VE GOT YOUR MONEY YOUR ON YOUR OWN.I WISH WE HAD READ REVIEWS ON THIS WEBSITE PRIOR TO DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY.STHELENS WINDOWS JACKSON STREET BE WARNED

Very professional service. Required a corner post to finish off a project, sorted me one immediately, cut to size, great price too. Great Company to deal with.

Unprofessional company with bad products and service. My sister has been locked in her house on multiple occasions because of the new doors she purchased from them. They occasionally send someone over to "fix" the problems but within a few hours the door/s get stuck again. This is very unsafe for anybody to be locked inside or outside of their homes. She has asked to speak to a manager but no one ever gets back to her. WHAT AN UTTER SURPRISE THAT SOMEONE FROM THEIR LEGAL TEAM JUST CALLED HER THREATENING HER WITH LEGAL ACTION CAUSE SHE HAS JUST WRITTEN A BAD REVIEW ON TRUST PILOT!!! OH SO NOW A LEGAL EXPERT CAN CALL HER BUT A MANAGER CAN'T.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES!
St Helens Windows fitted a new front and back door for me in December 2020. I have had to call them back repeatedly for both doors for various different problems. I spent an entire weekend unable to open the front door and the same has happened again. It is easier to speak to the Queen of England than it is to a manager...the office staff must be on incredibly good wages to take the brunt of complaints themselves!
Despite me informing them that the front door is stuck again creating a fire hazard, nobody has bothered to ring me back yet again to sort the problem. I have asked for a refund or a new replacement door but have been told by Lyndsey in the office that they don't do this.
How hard is it to install two doors that actually work??
And to make matters worse I have just had a call from a man in their “Legal Department” shouting at me and accusing me of slander for writing this review! He threatened that the company would sue me and that it would cost me at least £22,000! This man accused me of fabricating the video evidence I sent them of the stuck door and basically stated that I am incapable of operating a slam lock door. Extremely unprofessional and intimidating behaviour from both the Service and “Legal” Departments. My son and I are now spending a second night locked in our own house.
Time to contact my solicitor I think…

Still waiting 12 months on, despite repeated requests and paying for this in the contract, for building regs sign off on orangery. Installers are fine but communication has been shocking from the word go. No way I woukd use them again

It's a shame you can't give 0 zero stars. An absolutely shambolic company. I was looking for a new front door, chatted with the agents online back in March, all seemed professional and promising. The agent came out, measured up, we chose our door - all was good. There were some errors on the contract regarding the door shape, but I was assured over the phone that they knew it was an error and they knew what we wanted. Paid the deposit (my mistake). Told 13 week wait. Surveyor came in April, so far so good. It was an unusual shape and size door, but he seemed confident that it was fine. There are numerous houses in our street and on our estate (it's an arched door and frame). He said he'd put it into the computer and check it was OK. I heard nothing back so assumed all was well. Fast forward to July and I've heard nothing. I emailed the lady I'd originally paid the deposit to. No answer. A week later I rang and was told there was a problem, that design couldn't be done and it'd been sat on the surveyors desk. I was told he'd gone off long term sick. Fair enough it happens, but really someone should have picked up his work. I'd been waiting for 3 months for nothing. No one had contacted me. Also, I struggle to believe that it can't be done as already mentioned there are dozens of houses locally with this same style. I was promised a call back that night. Nothing. Two days later I phone again and was promised a call back from the manager. Nothing. A few days later my husband rang and was promised a new design by email that night. Nothing. The following week I phoned up to make a complaint. Was told the manager would ring me by the end of the day. You've guessed it - nothing. So finally my husband phoned and we have managed to get our deposit back, which is about the only thing they've done right. So before you come back, claiming you don't have my name on file (I've seen your generic reply to bad reviews on other sites), I am more than happy to screen shot the contract and name names. Secondly, I appreciate staffing levels have been hit by Covid, because believe or not, its affected us all - but really? Since March there has been no-one available to call me. Nonsense. Lastly, I know it was an unusual door, I even walked with the surveyor to a house down the road to show him what we wanted and was told "it should be fine", so he was well aware of the arch, but to not even offer an alternative or to contact us to discuss it, all the time sitting on our deposit, is frankly just downright bad customer services. So everyone AVOID, there are plenty of more reputable companies out there. I've now found a lovely man who is sorting it for us.

As a returning customer I cannot rate these guys enough.
From Barry who comes out to give the price, to the actual workman ship and the girls in office, they are 2nd to none.
This time I had a new front door and we are delighted with it.
