Ordered unit in February won’t be arriving until mid August. I understand the supplier issues and problems with getting supplies into the country but this seems a ridiculous length of time to wait. Would have gone elsewhere

The sale stock was excellent and it was not difficult to choose a superb top of the range suite. Initially the sales style was acceptable but later turned sour. The opportunity for delivery seemed to offer it as free but discussions about that was offset but a requirement to buy a maintenance kit as part of the deal. I felt it was extremely expensive and turned that down. However it was included without my agreement. Not until I returned home when I examined the account did I understand I had purchased the kit. I complained by telephone when I was asked to return the unwanted kit. I did this only to find I would have to pay for delivery.
If I have to be honest I believe the selling process was unacceptable. The kit was forced on me, hidden and built within the process, diminishing the savings made in the sale. I had argumentative, confrontational discussions with a senior member of staff which was upsetting as it took place in full view of others.
I also bought a wool carpet and underlay for my lounge and hallway. The treatment I received was without criticism.

Delivery went to plan with our carpet being delivered and fitted the day before our new suite.

Great service, suite arrived earlier than expected and they were able to keep it till our move in date.

Took 4-months to the day between placing order and taking delivery. This felt like a long time. Otherwise very pleased with the items and the service.

The experience in the Dunfermline branch was great. However our table came already damaged and nobody from Customer Services has been in touch, even though we were told they would be.

The service we received in store and from our delivery team was very good. However we found the £100 delivery charge very expensive. The products we bought all in the same visit could not all be delivered on the same day, this equaled a second £100 delivery charge. This was not pointed out to us until paying for our items. This soured somewhat what was otherwise a very positive shopping experience.
Surely this amount could be reduced? We did ask but were told no.

Stopped off for a quick lunch at the cafe and look round store.
Lunch was lovely, best and hottest chips ever, great healthy menu choice, pretty busy but staff kept up with the pace.
Store was beautiful and displays really tempting. Wish I had a nice new home to furnish, this would be my first stop.

Bought a king-size mattress and a single mattress from the dunfermline store, sales person very helpful and polite. Unfortunately this is where the good service ends.

We wanted to return the single mattress due to it being too deep for our sons bed, we didn't open the mattress and when we contacted customer services we were told it would be another £89 to pick the mattress up and they also wanted a 25% "restock" charge as it has been ordered for us, nowhere in the terms does it tell you about a 25% restock charge, I was passed from customer services to store manager and he still didn't help and still wanted us to pay the restock charge. Lost us as customers as we might have ordered another mattress that would fit the bed but not now.
