I ordered size small, but they run a little small, so I needed a medium. I could not return for the right size. Be careful when opening the packaging; it is very fragile. If they accidentally open it, they assume they are worn, and you cannot return them. It is a very thin, compostable wrapper. Two pairs arrived open; they do not care. The color is nice, though.

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the sizing and the condition in which your order arrived.
We want to assure you that we absolutely do care about how your items reach you, and each item is shipped in sealed packaging. Step One individual packets were made from compostable materials; however it can sometimes be affected by high temperatures during transit, causing them to deteriorate accidentally. We are truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused you.
We can see that you have already been able to take advantage of our one-time First Pair Guarantee to help with the sizing. However, we would love to look into this further and make things right.
Could you please drop us an email at info@stepone.life with a photo of the items you received? If you still happen to have the damaged packaging available, kindly send a photo of that through as well.
We are here to assist and want to ensure you're completely taken care of!
Best regards,
Stephanie

These trunks are great. Color and contrast trim immediately grabs the attention and the pouch has just enough contour to keep everything comfortably in place. There was no chafing or "swamp butt." Please continue offering the contrast colors. The only thing I would change is the height of the waistband. It could be shorter, but doesn't detract from the feeling or roll during physical activity. I am 36M with a 36" waist. Fit is true to size.
