If you increase your monthly photos from a monthly 250 count to 1000 count while your camera is in the field, you will have to pull your camera for technical support because the camera will not take the increase in monthly photos.
Very poor technology!

I bought 4 solar cameras, two of them the solar pealed. Filled for warranty and were almost a year in and still no replacement cameras.

I own a couple of SPYPOINT Flex M cameras and was planning to purchase several more. However, after about 45 days, I began having issues with the first camera losing connection. I purchased a signal booster antenna, but that did not solve the problem. I then tried another SD card, and the camera worked fine for about a week. Eventually, I contacted technical support, and they were very helpful. They determined that the SD card I was using was not compatible and advised me to use either a SanDisk SD card or one of their branded cards. Based on their recommendation, I ordered one directly from them. The website stated the item was in stock and would ship the next business day. I placed the order on a Friday afternoon. By Wednesday afternoon, the order still had not shipped. After contacting customer service, I was informed it would be another 5–7 days before the item would even ship. I explained that this was unacceptable because the website clearly stated next-business-day shipping, and I requested to cancel the order. The representative told me they could not cancel it and that I would have to wait for the item to arrive and then return it. Up until dealing with customer service, I had been pleased with the company and their products. Unfortunately, because of this experience, they have lost my business.

Camera was 2 years 4 months old all the sudden it stopped working. Called customer support 3 times and all they could tell me is to update firmware. The camera would not accept new firmware. Then they tried to sell me a new Flex camera. Why would I want another SPYPOINT. And the warranty just ran out. They were no help at all. Spypoint does not have a service department to send it in. It’s junk why should they even try to fix it. Save your money and buy a more reliable camera from a company that would actually fix it.

I have 4 of there cameras and will be replacing them all. I had a 2 year old camera that quit working and was 1 week out of warranty. SPYPOINT basically said tough luck chump!!!
We aren’t replacing it and also we are not going to help you fix it.
Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere.

J'ai acheté une Flex-Dark dans un rayon chasse d'une chaine de magasins de sport très connue.
J'ai choisi ce modèle car une connaissance a 2 Flex-M et m'en a dit du bien. Moi, j'ai besoin d'une caméra qui m'envoie les photos à distance.
J'installe la caméra, l'enregistre, télécharge l'application, tout va bien. Satisfait !
Rapidement, je vois qu'il faut passer à un forfait de + de 100 photos. Je choisis le forfait annuel illimité et l'adhésion au club Insiders. Je vais sur le site et c'est là que le sketch commence. J'ai l'habitude d'acheter sur Internet, en France et à l'étranger. Mais là, impossible de valider un panier.
Je prends contact avec l'assistance. Je dois dire que la seule chose qui ait bien fonctionné sur le site c'est le fil de discussion : très bien. Au début, je pense que vous discutez avec une IA (peut-être même tout du long du fil de discussion)
Pour le réglement, rien à y faire, pas moyen de le valider. Je change de CB, idem, je valide avec ma banque des CB utilisables une seule fois et sécurisées, je reviens à la CB d'origine, tjrs pareil. En tout, une dizaine de tentatives (et encore, si ça fait l'affaire, je ne cherche pas à forcer le trait...)
On essaie d'autres solutions. L'assistance crée le panier à ma place, me fournit des liens de connexion, me guide pas à pas, on échange avec de mon coté des captures d'écran pour prouver que j'ai bien suivi leurs conseils... et au final, tjrs pas moyen d'y arriver.
Ils finissent par me dire qu'il faut essayer 24 H plus tard. J'y revient 48 H plus tard. Deux essais et tjrs pareil.
Là, me vient l'idée de regarder les avis sur Internet pour voir si je suis un cas isolé. Et là, je me suis bien reconnu au travers de plein d'avis. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de tester la fiabilité du matériel (15 jours en tout entre l'achat et la reprise), de voir comment fonctionne le SAV..., mais je me suis dit que si ça devait être comme pour la validation du panier, il fallait mieux arrêter l'expérience maintenant. Ce que j'ai fait ce matin en retournant la caméra chez le vendeur, qui sans difficulté l'a reprise. Ils l'ont récupérée comme neuve, dans son emballage d'origine. Quand je lui expliqué pourquoi je faisait cette démarche, j'ai compris que je n'étais pas le seul, il n'a pas été surpris. Le magasin l'a reprise, m'a remboursé. J'y suis allé pour justifier ma démarche avec l'impression du fil de discussion : 14 pages, pas mal !
Je me dis que dans cette histoire, heureusement que je l'ai achetée en physique dans un magasin, car sinon, je ne sais pas dans quelle galère je serai avec Spypoint !!! Je n'ose même pas imaginer...
Conclusion personnelle et conseils : commencez par acheter dans un magasin avec un vrai service de retour/échanges..., puis, ayez du temps à y consacrer, puis à perdre, soyez à l'aise avec Internet, soyez patient, et peut-être aurez-vous bien plus de chance que moi et peut-être ferez-vous partie des clients pour qui tout va bien du 1er coup. C'est peut-être comme à la loterie, il y a des tickets gagnants, puis des perdants, peut-être beaucoup. J'ai fait partie de la seconde catégorie.
Il y a une autre solution plus efficace : passez votre chemin avec Spypoint et ne tentez pas le diable...

Lost credit my card and tried to change my payment information on the SPYPOINT site. The site indicates it can be done on the site… it can’t. You have to cancel your plans and start over . Their customer Sevice is a joke. Obviously farmed out to a foreign country.

La caméra ne fonctionne plus 2ans et 2 mois après et comme par hasard la garantie est de deux ans. De plus j’ai acheté une batterie neuve à 139€ qui me reste sur les bras. Service client catastrophique.

Nul! Matériel prometteur mais rapidement déçu ! Coût d'abonnement, service après vente réactif au début mais après ils vont annoncé deux ans après l'achat que la caméra n'est plus réparable car plus garantie.... Honteux car ils prélèvent l'abonnement quand même !

J ai pris un forfait illimité 120 euros par an et malgré cela je suis limité à 100 photos calcul je me suis fait avoir de 120 euros plus le prix de la caméra. Donc je déconseille fortement.

POS, just save your money and get a real cell related camera. You have to call them to get it updated or it will randomly stop working but the app wont tell you it needs to be updated. I have 2 and it will detect a leaf moving but when people show up and destroy your house it wont capture or even turn on. waste of money and time.

Update: I received two calls from an unidentified 1-888 toll free number (no Spypoint branding/caller ID- looked like a spam call), and I missed both calls. One was on a Sunday morning. When I tried to call back, I went through an automated software flow where I had to enter my case number through the phone keypad. The phone software could not recognize the case number that I entered. I went through this a few times over two different calls and finally found a way to get to a live person. When I explained why I was calling, the customer service person seemed to hang up on me (I heard a series of beeps and call ended)! I say this because I had had provided my cell phone and email to the customer service person for call back in case we were disconnected and the person did not call me back or email me. In this case, there is really no way to call back as I cannot enter the case number into their phone software (software does not recognize the numbers that I am pressing on cell phone keypad). I did receive an initial email (before I called in and spoke to the live person) from Manoj, Loyalty and Retention Specialist saying that he had tried to call me and the email was a "no reply" address. I replied anyway to say that I could not get through on the phone but given the "no reply", I don't know if they received it. Getting in touch with this company is really difficult and now I will add that a live person disconnected with me and did not call back. It feels like Spypoint has tried to implement a customer service flow but it is not at all user friendly and definitely broken. The theme is still the same - so much time wasted and no resolution. Hopefully this blow by blow feedback will help Spypoint resolve these issues.

I purchased my first Spypoint Flex S solar camera and the solar panel film eroded and caused the solar battery not to charge. Spypoint sent me replacement, the Flex S Dark Cellular Camera in June 2025. By October 2025, the solar battery would not charge. The software was up to date, the camera was squeaky clean, the double A batteries were fresh, the solar panel was facing the right direction and there were no obstructions. I purchased a solar charging camera because I live over an hour away and it is hard to drive back and forth just to charge the battery (it takes 12 hours to fully charge when plugged in). When I contacted Spypoint through the chat feature, I was put in contact with either a completely incompetent person or AI bot. No way to tell as they would not answer the question when asked. They kept me online for over 2.5 hours over two sessions during my work day. They were very slow to respond between questions/answers. They did not have the right product knowledge about my camera model. They suggested things that I had already told them that I did. They refused to put me in contact with their manager or identify themselves by name or job position. When it was obvious that there was no way this chat person/bot could help me, they told me that their manager would call me on my cell phone to discuss. This never happened. Now I have a camera that has no solar charging capabilitity and a prepaid cellular plan. Two camera's solar function failed in <6 months. Poor service. So much wasted time on the chat and driving back and forth to my property since October to manually plug in this solar charging camera.

Caméra achetée en 2023, à un prix totalement disproportionné par rapport à la qualité réelle du produit.
Fonctionnement instable, bugs réguliers, système peu fiable. On est très loin de ce qu’on attend à ce niveau de prix.
J’ai malheureusement subi un vol, et le matériel n’a pas assuré sa mission.
Comme si ça ne suffisait pas, la caméra a pris l’eau, malgré une utilisation normale.
C’est clairement le coup final pour un produit censé être utilisé en extérieur.
J’ai donc renvoyé la caméra, car elle est tout simplement inutilisable.
Depuis, je suis passé chez un concurrent :
caméra à 200 €
carte SIM personnelle à 5 €/mois
fonctionnement fiable et stable
La différence est flagrante.
Produits survendus, beaucoup trop chers, et qualité indigne du prix demandé.
Je regrette cet achat et je ne recommande absolument pas.
PS : Suite au retour de la caméra défectueuse, le service client a réagi rapidement et m’a envoyé un nouvel appareil. J’attends maintenant le transfert du forfait sur celui-ci. À voir comment tout fonctionne par la suite, mais la prise en charge a été rapide.

Produits chers, de qualité quelconque, dont les problèmes sont innombrables. En faire une liste serait trop long ici. Au final on ne profite pas de la caméra et l'assistance ne sert à rien, sauf si vous avez beaucoup de temps à perdre. Sachez aussi que le coût est exorbitant à l'usage entre, les abonnements, les piles l'achat des vidéos, des photos...

is one of the best customer service reps I have encountered in a long time. He was very helpful, patient and professional. We spent 3hrs going over the 6 LM2 cameras I purchased, trouble shooting and formatting SD cards. We laughed and were very cordial by the end of our trial and error. I even purchased some of the accessories per his suggestions. Believe it or not blowing the SD card and area assisted a lot. Getting a signal and formatting the SD cards was a learning experience. Ryan missed his break and probably his lunch assisting me. I am so glad when I called this Sunday when our city was shut down due to the freeze, I was able to have a warm comforting conversation with Ryan. He solved every issue even when trouble shooting didn't work. I hope every rep at Spypoint is like Ryan. Kudos to this young man. He made my day and my perception of Spypoint even greater. On a scale of 1-5 I give Ryan a 10, or shall I say a 30 since we had 6 cameras to work through. Keep doing OUTSTANDING work Ryan H. I look forward to sharing your great customer service on every platform until I get a survey. remember "I got your back" lol...

I have used two Flex-S-Dark Spypoint solar/lithium-ion rechargeable cameras for about 6 months. I have basically two issues. 1) they freeze up (no pics, no instant pics, no refresh, 0% batteries - despite the fact that the rechargeable batteries are still charged) and require a hard reset. 2) "Instant" image requests frequently take several hours to be sent. This is a firmware or software issue. Online Chat gives me lip service despite me insisting that they report this issue to their design staff. After i do a hard reset, the batteries immediately show that the batteries are charged.

Don't go near these cowboys. The camera never really worked, and even though I cancelled my subscription 2 years ago, they still bill me annually and won't answer emails or the live chat they promise. Terrible.

I would not recommend this camera or company at all. I had two flex G-36 and returned them within two weeks. The pictures are great but the company is a scam trying to get you to purchase more space on the app that barely works and to buy their solar panels. Each takes 8 batteries. The app said they were dead with in 9 days of use. I tested all 16 battery's and now my kids are using them perfectly in their toys. Long story short the company and product aren't worth the time or price.
