AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE , if you buy something from the store you can’t return it for something else it has to be the same thing that you are returning which makes no sense, and if you buy it on line you can’t return only return it on line , and then it hey promise you a credit not to re purchase even though in my eyes it would be better to just exchange, but it seems that they go all around the houses and don’t even give you a credit not . They are thief’s and they are corruptbthey are stealing people purchases and hard earned money with no remorse

My package showed as delivered but I still have never received it. Sports Direct refuse to refund money (Approx £120) telling me to contact a third party if I wish to take it further.
I did not authorise anybody to leave any packages in a safe place & therefore by law the package is there responsibility.
VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY company causing undue stress on it's customers in tough financial times.

Can’t get a refund, have to have a credit note. Spent credit note online but cannot return the items in store to swap for different size. Have to pay for delivery and return of items and then they expect me to go back to the shop again with my next credit note to buy the correct size.First floor changing rooms not usable. Ground floor changing rooms locked and you have to go to tills to get them opened. The customer service policies of this shop are awful. It’s like it’s their mission is to provide as poor a consumer experience as possible.

Ordered a pair of trainers and was told parcel had been despatched via Evri. Evri acknowledged receipt but next day told me parcel had been delayed. Over 7 days ago and 4 days past delivery date and absolutely no update from either company despite numerous efforts to contact them. SD always the same message - too busy to deal with it despite having time to send me daily emails pushing their products. Last time I purchased from SD I paid £4.99 to have it delivered to local store but they gave me the wrong parcel and I had to make second trip to store which is why I decided to go for home delivery this time. Never again!

This is my experience with Sports direct

I made a purchase from SportsDirect

I received my goods after trying one garment on there was no way it was for me as the item was not as described. It was infact very small I ordered several of the same product in alternative colours. So oI decided they wasn’t for me. I did however like the trainers I ordered and wished to keep them. After carefully ensuring all those other garments hadn’t be open or even tried on I carefully packaged the parcel and returned them via their recommended courier. To which they received then contacted me to deny my refund request saying that upon checking the goods were unusable and resalable.

I was unhappy with this decision as the garments when leaving me was in pristine condition.

So I contacted them direct firstly and they told me THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO.

I went further with my bank which after nearly 2 months was successfully solved resulting in a full refund on my behalf. RESULT… or NOT!!!!

Fast forward several months I then received a notice of intended civil proceedings. This was claiming I’ve unlawfully committed fraud and that the merchant has now suffered a loss of triple what the original purchase cost and they are going to pursue this claim in county court if I don’t pay up!!

All this despite the dispute already resolved via my bank & merchant.

After numerous attempts of trying to resolve this matter unfortunately I got nowhere with NBCS and Sports Direct.

So instead of getting a CCJ filed against me as it would ultimately come down I say/they say argument even if I have the evidence of all the above. I’ve decided to pay this ridiculous amount and then will actively pursue it at my pace as this is something that could potentially jeopardise my current role and plans for a mortgage at this current stage in my life and I couldn’t be dealing such accusation.

This is my personal experience and by looking elsewhere like on the Martin Lewis Forums I’m not alone.

This is purely my experience and it was a truly horrific one. One that brought financial worry.

Item sent with Evri. Evri delivery driver stated he had delivered but kept and stole the parcel. Reported to police and obtained a crime number. Complained through Evri and provided ring doorbell footage, pictures and evidence to show my parcel was not left. Sports direct refusing to replace/refund as tracking states delivered despite all my correspondence and evidence to the contrary. Absolutely awful customer service and empathy to customers like me.who have now lost lots of money.

Wouldn’t give them one star. I’ve stayed away from ordering from sports direct and stupidly succumbed for my son’s birthday present. Placed the order but realised at the end that I’d left an old address, immediately sent an email asking for them to cancel the order. Checked the next day and tried to contact customer devices again but it’s their ridiculous chat not that doesn’t offer any help. This was my fault but could’ve been sorted out by a human if they’d got back to me. I absolutely abhore their “customer services” you can’t contact anyone! It’s ridiculous - so its the last time I’ll buy from them because I remember how rubbish their service is.

Ordered some transformers from them. Firstly took ages to dispatch and then after several complaints they offered a 10% discount off your next order. Then two items arrived damaged. They then offered a measly 20% off next order and free delivery as compensation! We wanted an exchange instead so sent the two damaged items back, which were then refunded with no return sent.
We then ordered the two items again using the 10% discount. One item was cancelled and the other arrived damaged!!!
Poor, poor, poor customer service all round!

Can’t find my order Information for sports direct, I can’t phone them can’t email them they have basically stolen from me because I have a product that won’t fit and I can’t do anything about it. Don’t trust, trust pilot either they are corrupt it wants to support a corrupt bed company I tried to warn customers about.

They messed up my order I needed to contact them as they wanted to charge me to return an item they sent incorrectly and delivery ticket, order on one of the items delivered were all different.
No customers service phone number. No email address, the “ChatBot” can never put you through so sends a contact form. 10 days later still no response after multiple times of chasing up. It’s a Christmas present and doesn’t look like it will be resolved in time.
Absolutely pathetic for such a big company - zero customer services.

I wouldn't even give the customer service department 1 star its that bad.I ordered a pair of trainers and received no confirmation email. I received the trainers 2 weeks later, unfortunately they didn't fit and I wanted to return them. Firstly they weren't listed on my account and secondly I didn't have an order no. I've spent nearly an hour on the live chat when they let you on it and got nowhere. I was supposed to receive an email, which never arrived.

Purchased a pair of trainers online that were too big for me so i returned them wanting a refund as they do not offer exchanges however they will not refund even though they have not been worn and were returned withn 28 days and in the original packaging - will never use sports direct again now - so if you're thinking of purchasing anything from them online be careful as they hardly ever give you your money back

Worst customer service ever!
I ordered boots in August and returned the ones that did not fit. (We had originally tried to go in store but the service there is even worse)
They refunded half of the order with £70 still owing.
I have emailed their customer service about seven times now, Each time I follow up on my refund, I get a sheet with a new ticket number and I have to start the story all over again. The response is always an apology And that my order will be refunded within five working days… This never happens. Does anybody know if there is a way to escalate this?

Ordered trainers in October never arrived can not get hold of anyone emails don't work shop closed think this is a scam

I bought 3 base layers on line from Sports Direct on 22nd November. I had to return 2 because they were too large. No invoice was in the package and no return address. The articles had obviously been returned as one was open and an other wsa in the wrong box. I contacted them on line when they seemed, initially, to think I wanted a replacement, which they were happy to do, and told me to give the originals to charity. When they realised I wanted to return them I was told it was at my own cost, gave me a return address and told me to include a letter giving the order number. Not happy and will not buy from them again.
