Incompetent overpriced vet with broken equipment
TLDR: if you want to go to an incompetent vet with broken equipment that will pray off your love for your pet to charge you as much as possible for unnecessary things then pawn you off to a another vet for real diagnostics you found your vet. My experience: I brought my cat in for chest x-rays to confirm a diagnosis from my online vet that she may have chronic bronchitis/asthma. Beyond coughing she is completely normal and healthy at my first appointment The vet told me She would probably need to be seen by a specialist, but they’re gonna send the x-rays to their radiography team and see what they say. I made an appointment with the specialist then I got a call back saying It looks more like a form of pneumonia to pick up antibiotics and then do A recheck. At my recheck appointment that I scheduled to be seen with the same vet I was greeted by a different vet. Dr.OOO Nadine cross. I will admit I was four minutes late to my appointment, which the vet and her assistant made sure to scrutinize me for saying there will not be enough time for anything other than x-rays today which x-rays were the only reason why i came in so that was fine with Me besides the attitude. After the x-rays, the vet comes back in the room and is telling me my cat needs to be emergency transferred over to an internal medicine specialist right away that day Mind you again my cat is completely healthy besides the cough. they tried to get her blood oxygen level, but the machine was broken. I confirmed with them multiple times that they want her to be transferred to an emergency vet luckily for me there is no Available to take her and the only one they’re able to find would be able to observe her throughout the weekend for five thousand dollars I looked at my healthy cat and said that that’s fine. I’ll watch her from home and I’ll make an appointment for her on Monday. I go to my appointment at this internal medicine specialist they confirmed my cat has chronic asthma and bronchitis and nothing more. There was no need to ever try to emergency transfer her The vet at Sploot just lacked the knowledge to be able to explain a common condition to me. I tried to resolve my issues by calling the company and they told me that a Medical director would call me back instead. I got a phone call from the same incompetent vet So not only are they unable to actually resolve any diagnostic issues for your pet but they’re also unable to resolve any issues your had With their services. I should know I had my over To my primary vet that I see through the online service Dutch. This vet has been able to diagnose and treat her for things that multiple vets in person couldn’t figure out, but since our appointments are fully remote I went to get X-rays for her to see. I wish I had them just sent to her right away before The advice of the incompetent, vet Dr.OOO Nadine cross My primary vet confirmed there was no need for that type of concern/ panic that was displayed to me and that the X-rays Show common signs of chronic bronchitis Which again should be common enough for a vet To know about.
