I took the online Viking offer A0-B2 plus that included exam preparations and it has been the best experience ever.
I had to learn Norwegian to be able to work in Norway, and it helped me a lot with settling down in a whole new country. I had to prepare to speak Norwegian in my interview. I was a bit hesitant as I thought the price was above my budget but it was worth the investment after I landed a job.

Definitely the best school around and if I had to do it all again I would definitely go with speaknorsk. I’m planning to take the C1 course soon as well.

I had the pleasure of being a student at Speak Norsk and it was such an important part of my journey in Norway. Learning the language gave me the confidence to connect with people, understand the culture and feel more at home in a new country. Speak Norsk helped me meet all the requirements for citizenship! The course felt very complete and I felt I got the most of my learning experience from the books, cards, classes, venues and content (And the fresh fruit). Thank you to my teacher Antje who I started with A1 in Jan 26 and just finished B1 in May 26 with a B1 grade in Norskprøve. If you are struggling with Norwegian I highly suggest asking for her - She is so experienced and knows how to bring laughter and smiles to every lesson.

Signed up for an A2 course in Spanish, which is offered through Speak Norsk. Obviously I do not speak Spanish conversationally. Already at the introductory video I need to use google translate to understand what the scope of the course is, since there are no subtitles or english manuscript to read. Speak Norsk claims this is common in new beginners language courses, without supplying references, where as I find references to subtitles being industry standards. In the terms and conditions they do mentioned that no refunds, and they are sticking to it since there are e-books associated with the course that I can use freely (hopefully when I find them they will be helpful).

I purchased this course expecting quality content from A0 to B2, but I was disappointed. High ratings seem to be driven by the requirement to give 5-star reviews for certificates. There is no live support or conversation practice, and the exercises are poorly designed—punctuation errors mark answers as wrong, which is very demotivating. Listening texts are too advanced for beginners, and exercises are monotonous. The course is very expensive (10,000 kr), and when I requested an extension, they asked for an additional 3,900 kr. Beginners would be better off finding free or cheaper online resources.

The videos are very informative and confidence building.

I have just finished my B2 course with SPEAK NORSK. I can definitely recommend their courses for everybody who wants to get good knowledge of the Norwegian. language. I live in Spain and will not have the chance to practice the language in Norway, but I am now able to understand a lot at Norwegian TV and can understand basic conversations. I will of course continue C1 and C2 and hopefully one day I can visit that marvellous country.

I recently attended Speaknorsk to learn Norwegian, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience. I was impressed by how well-structured and engaging the course material was. The teachers are knowledgeable and specifically excellent in their approach to teach grammar. It was an enjoyable experience and classes were interactive which helped me build my confidence in trying to speak Norwegian.

Since completing the course, I’ve noticed significant improvement in my ability to understand Norwegian, and I feel much more confident in daily conversations.
I highly recommend Speaknorsk to anyone looking to learn Norwegian – it’s an excellent choice for beginners and anyone looking to refine their language skills.
