I’ve been a student at Spanish VIP for about a month, and so far, I am having a fantastic experience. Not only was I able to book classes that fit perfectly with my schedule, but each class is also tailored to my individual needs and abilities. Additionally, I can choose to spend more time on topics that particularly interest me. Plus, I’m having a lot of fun. Mariana, my one-on-one Spanish instructor, is very passionate about teaching and does an excellent job of building my confidence and making the learning process enjoyable. Thanks to her, my Spanish skills are improving, and I'm enjoying every step of the journey. I highly recommend having her as an instructor if you sign up with Spanish VIP.

I absolutely LOVE Spanish VIP! The classes are fun, engaging and challenging. I am always encouraged to ask questions and everything is explained very well. I don't ever feel subconscious about mispronouncing words because my teacher is patient and she walks me through how to pronounce words and the meaning of words I'm not familiar with. If you are wanting to raise bilingual children and need a teacher, remember the name Valentina. Valentina is an incredible instructor who has a natural ability to read a child's energy and focus level and adapt to their needs throughout the class. She offers support to the parents and shares many resources for use outside of class to reinforce what was learned during class. She is a passionate teach who cares about your child's learning. She has a ton of activities to keep your child engaged, and makes learning fun for everyone!
The SpanishVIP company as a whole is great about communication and helps with any small issues that arise.

I have been taking the SpanishVIP+ private classes with Karen Pacheco as my teacher.

Karen Pacheco has been an excellent teacher for me, and I have really enjoyed the classes. I have definitely improved immensely from my initial class over the last 4 months.

I started with a basic understanding of Spanish, from a introductory "Spanish for Travelers" class, a 2 week intensive course many years ago in Guatemala and the use of Duolingo (so I wouldn't forget everything that I had learned). BUT I was very unsure and not confident with speaking Spanish, and had a lot of trouble following a slow conversation of more than 4 words at a time :)

At this point, I feel that I can speak and understand Spanish - slowly yes, but with much more confidence. My vocabulary is larger and more useful. Understanding slow conversations are easy, and I can even understand some conversations at medium to regular speeds, which I did not feel I could do before.

We covered a lot of vocabulary, review and use of the present/past/past imperfect/future tenses, common phrases / verbs of change and duration/ colloquialisms... a lot of material!

Karen's classes with me were usually structured around an initial conversation where I was encouraged to try using the new grammar/verbs/vocabulary we had studied, the review of new vocabulary learned in the conversation, and finally either new grammar / vocabulary via structured lessons (presentations) or listening or reading comprehension from various sources

At my request, we spent the last month / month and a half on the subjunctive, which I wish I had learned earlier. Recognizing the subjunctive in text has really opened up reading books for me, and helped with reading captions and realizing it is not a new word! Recognizing the subjunctive when hearing it, made a huge difference in my understanding of Spanish.

Mariana makes learning fun. She also builds confidence in my ability to converse in Spanish. Mariana makes corrections in a positive manner so I am not afraid to make mistakes. I have less anxiety about saying something wrong which allows me to learn from my mistakes.

My experience with Spanish VIP has been great so far, they have been very professional and easy to communicate with.

My tutor Mariana is very patient and fun to learn with, she follows up on all my questions, is responsive to where I’m at with my studies, and is always available for any support I need. Looking forward to learning more!

Natalia is patient with me. with Duolingo I'm fighting against a clock, other students who beat me out of my ranking position and the number of errors that I make when I try to speed up. 15 questions in 15 minutes. It's a lot of pressure, when I get nervous and can't think Natalie reminds me this isn't duolingo, take your time, think of what you want to say, even if it's wrong, at least I tried. And I feel better for the experience. 3/3/24 @ 4:23 pm, I made my 1st sentence just sitting in my easy chair. Off the top of my head without a book, notes or reading it from a page. Needless to say I am very proud of myself. Mind You I only started with Spanish VIP on December 6th 2024, so that was only 4 months ago and look at how far I've come already. I owe that to Natalia, she made me believe in myself , That I COULD do it. Her classes are relaxed, she gives me homework to do over the weekends and I enjoy doing them. Just yesterday I took a class about Palabras Interrogativas with Sra. Montalbano. The class was in spanish , I took my notes in spanish and was able to read them and I learned about the uses of the interrogative words. All in spanish , It was so much fun.This class was in with the homework Natalia gave me to do. I truly enjoy my classes with her and I feel like I've learned quite a bit since starting my studies with her, She's a great teacher. I'm 73 years old and it's not easy for me, sometimes I forget what I want to say, but she's patient and that helps a lot. I'm very glad that I joined Spanish VIP, I believe it's helped me improve my Spanish 10 fold.

The company is great and very responsive. The teachers in the group classes are fun and interactive. My private teacher is Valentina González, and I always have so much fun in her classes. I think every class, we'd always have a good laugh. She is very patient and attentive to my learning needs. She would cater my class to my interests to help with memorizing new vocabulary and keeping engagement. I wish to continue learning Spanish with SpanishVIP. Highly recommend ~ Muchas Gracias ~

Valentina Gonzalez is the best teacher. She makes sure the classes are always fun. She is very patient with me and is very prepared. She understands my learning style and prepares my lessons around it. I highly recommend taking SpanishVIP private classes with Valentina. I would recommend 3 classes a week only. This will allow you to prepare for class and give you extra study time. I'm the type of person that wants to do too much and I found myself not studying like I needed to. Use the class time to listen to Spanish speakers and to talk in Spanish. Study vocabulary outside of class.

Vanessa was so helpful and patient. She was so good at explaining different concepts of Spanish and was very supportive the whole time. She helped me understand things I was confused on and was always willing to help me. Vanessa is an amazing teacher that has the skills to help people learn Spanish in a fun and interactive way. It was an amazing experience!

Have had 1/1 classes with Angela for the past 9 months. She's been very supportive, thoughtful, and thorough in explaining subtle differences between particular verbs or words, and in giving examples when I'm confused.

Would recommend SpanishVIP to anyone looking to become more comfortable in their spoken Spanish as well as improve their understanding of the language as a whole.

I was paired with Alejandra a while back. It is the PERFECT match. Our families enjoy many of the same things. It feels like I am talking to a dear friend every morning. Alejandra is intelligent, energetic and caring. She is SO supportive of my progress in Spanish and always has great ideas for ways to learn creatively. I love our conversations (in Spanish) together. I also love learning about her and her culture. I can't say enough good things about this program. There is still a lot to learn and confidence to build for me, but she has helped immensely and will get me to where I want to be....fluent and comfortable speaking in Spanish.

Aleja H is a profoundly exceptional tutor who showcases a remarkable blend of adaptability, encouragement, and intuitive teaching methods. Her engagement and meticulous attention in each class makes every session a constructive and worthwhile hour of time in my day.

My journey of 12+ months under Aleja H's guidance has exponentially enhanced both my Spanish comprehension skills and my confidence. There were moments of self-doubt, when I felt as if I was either regressing or stagnating. But Aleja's unwavering encouragement and reassurances served as the driving force that inspired me to continue to grow as a spanish-speaker.

Lina Vásquez was my tutor. She is easy to talk in (in Spanish!), always pleasant and fun and knowledgable about the Spanish language. She used a combination of lessons prepared by SpanishVIP and materials of particular interest to me. I learned a lot from her and would recommend lessons with her.

After trying a few classes, I decided to cancel the subscription and requested a full refund. Even though the company policy says that a full refund is possible within the first week of subscription if learners find the classes not a right fit, they declined my request with all sorts of excuses. Don't be misled by their full refund claim, that is a total scam!
