My experience working as a dentist IN 2023 at South Cliff in Westbury was unfortunately very disappointing. During my time there, I often felt unsupported in terms of the materials and resources needed to do my job properly. I also faced ongoing issues regarding payment, which left me feeling undervalued and frustrated.

I hope that future improvements can be made for the benefit of both staff and patients, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this workplace.

I went for a checkup I was in there for few minutes I don't think the checkup was worth what I had to pay I wasn't even offered a Polish I will be asking for a different dentist next time

I have to say South Cliff Dental Practice in Dover is one of the best dentists that I have encountered
On arriving at Dover over a year ago with nothing in hand and compromised my first appointment the dentist noticed some damage to my front teeth that I had from the age of 21 years - they were my front teeth and I was bothered about it and it affected my smile - now at 58 years and having my photograph taken quite regularly I smile with confidence as that first dentist offered to cosmetically fix my front teeth and I had no funds at the time
I have to say as I was going through a lot at the time I was so happy and a few days later a friend took a wonderful photograph to celebrate my new look

Wonderful service, polite, punctual and treatments were done to a high standard.

Emily at the reception deals with our family when making an appointment and on general customer care . We all agree she is top notch on patient handling. The young lady is very pleasant and tends in putting patients at ease.This I find very helpful special for patients who are squeamish about the dentist !

I was incredibly nervous for my appointment, but all staff were very helpful at Southcliff Westbury. A huge shoutout to Athul and Charlotte who both made me feel at ease. They were reassuring and supportive despite me being worried and tearful. Thank you so much Athul and Charlotte!

The dentist at Trinity Dental was so kind, understanding and thorough. Great with children, thank you!

The reception staff were friendly helpful and professional.
I was given an appointment quickly. The dentist and her nurse made me feel comfortable and completed my treatment on my first visit.
I am a very happy and satisfied customer and would happily recommend the dental practice.

wanted to take the time to review the St.Leonards practice’s non clinical team, in particular, I wanted to mention Marcia who is always so delightfully friendly and accommodating. Due to my own stupidity I had to rearrange dates of 5 family member’s appointments. I was a difficult customer, but Marcia was super understanding and was extremely patient when trying to find alternative dates for us all. She assured me that she would call me back with a solution and true to her word she did. Thank you to Marcia and the rest of the team for being so helpful!

Shambles of a dentist.

They messed my mouth up royally. All the temporary dentists they had were like going from the frying pan to the fire. Travelling dentists doing the rounds who can’t hold down a permanent residency.

The rotation of staff and “managers” is horrendous, this is the biggest red flag anyone should need to avoid this place like a case of the c..p

Very unprofessional. They thought they done me out of a full refund by only agreeing to a partial amount. But I got the bank to reverse the transaction so I actually come out on top financially.

Sadly, effort, time, pain, agony and mileage? - not so much.

The dentists for south cliff also use their chair for private work too, “after hours” and “break times”. Which explains the extended waiting times.

They wanted me to believe the practice manager was this lady who couldn’t string a legible sentence together due to poor English? She was “manager” five I think in my time there, and receptionists? easily double digits.

Refusing to answer the phone several times too. Disgusting customer care. Just another practice that’s there for the money with minimal expenditure. Including hiring family friends as “managers”.

An amazing experience for a nervous patient. My two children were made feel so comfortable and are now happy and positive about seeing the dentist in the future. Thank you especially to Lakshmi our lovely dentist who treated my 7 year old and somehow kept her smiling throughout!

My records have been falsified and they've added treatments I never had. Their clinical team seem incapable of talking to their equally inept reception team about what actually goes on in the room. They have an incompetent member of staff called Johnson who nearly burned my eye out with a blow torch and bruised the inside of my mouth with the suction machine. They have always been late to any appointment i've booked, and they have cancelled my booking on less than a week's notice at all three appointments, sometimes cancelling two appointments one after the other. They've been ignoring my complaint about the treatment i faced, and withheld the last name of the nurse I wanted to complain about, and their initial response to my complaint was, in effect - hard luck, you still need to pay as the dentist is self employed, so we're washing our hands. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Avoid at all costs. Scheduled to have an old filling redone, bearing in mind the filling was well over 40 years old. Primarily due to the sensitivity of the tooth this had to be done under sedation. First anaesthetist was arrogant with no bedside manner and after the filling had been done and I was aware it was rough and I still had sensitivity. Take 2, better anaesthetist, clinician not so. I now have a huge gap between my back teeth, food is still getting caught in it and still tender. Now 3 days later my jaw, which was tender to touch is bruised. I have luckily managed to register with another dentist. This was the Steyning branch.

Had a Sunday hygiene appointment at South Cliff Dental Practice (Trinity Place). The appointment was made by a lovely, professional and well mannered gentleman.

The dental hygienist, Ms Pooja, was absolutely outstanding! Skilled, thorough, and genuinely caring, she gave me the most comfortable and effective dental cleaning I’ve ever had. Left feeling fresh, confident, and impressed—truly VIP treatment for my smile. Highly recommend! Thank you for your 7* services!

Booked hygienist and paid immediately. My teeth looked no better on leaving than when I arrived. £75 for approx 15 minutes work. When I enquired about specific stain was told it couldn't be done due to filling even though dentist recommended it. An awful lot of money for nothing

I was given an appointment on a Sunday 2 weekends in a row as I had broken my tooth eating a bowl of Lidl granola cereal. Staff friendly and accommodating to ensure I had the treatment I needed done. Thank you
