My stay at Sol's Oasis was a great experience, from the spacious and well equipped accommodation to the larger than expected, private and secure grounds.
The staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly, adding to the experience. I felt looked after, welcomed and informed with local tips and information.

A true oasis offering peaceful, tranquil grounds in real rural Jamaica. Sol's Oasis is in a great location offering guests a quieter stay but still able to visit some of Jamaica's top sites.

My second stay at Sols Oasis, and its just as beautiful as the first time. They are always adding and refining the gardens where the lush green foliage, trees and colourful plants are a pleasure to spend time in. The location is great for exploring the local area, great food spots like Nancy's Restaurant and Dors Fish place and local beaches. I got the rest and serenity I was looking for in this gem of a retreat. I can't wait to visit with a group of friends to enjoy the spaces together, especially the outdoor dining area and activities like dance lessons that can be booked. My next trip here will definitely be on one of the retreats that they organise - this really is a lovely spot to base yourself for a trip to Jamaica

A fantastic trip from start to finish, we were well looked after by Jade and her team. Sol’s Oasis is a little bit of paradise! The accommodation was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and very spacious. We had everything we needed to hand and nothing was too much trouble for Jade. The outside space is lovely, plenty of sunny and shady spots for sitting out and relaxing in complete peace and tranquillity. We went on a number of excursions while we were there and Jade took care of all the arrangements and details. It is a beautiful place and we very much look forward to returning. A special thanks too, to Devon our wonderful driver for the trip!

Sol's Oasis was such a perfect place for our multigenerational family reunion. As we arrived, we couldn't believe how beautiful the grounds are, such a tropical paradise.
The accommodation suited everyone's needs being comfortable and very clean with great dining spaces both inside and within the gardens. There was enough space for us all to be together or to retreat to different shady spots for moments of solitude and quiet reflection.
Jade arranged a number of excursions for us to explore the local beauty spots, culture and great water activities as well as a trip to Kingston. Our driver Devon looked after us all and told us all about the island and the places we visited.
The food was so delicious, authentic and healthy, although we did indulge in the Devon House icecream sold at the local store.
We can't wait to come back.

Absolutely Amazing! We needed a space for a day to gather our family that visited Jamaica from different regions of the world and found Sol’s Oasis. We arrived at a literal oasis with its calming and relaxing ambience, beautiful trees, plants, colours and the perfect outdoor seating arrangement. Sol’s host Jade and the private chef arranged a beautifully curated and tasty brunch menu based on our request and catered for both pescatarians and vegans. Everything from the decor to the plating was very well thought-through and gave a luxurious vibe! I would recommend to anyone who needs an intimate and safe event space for business, family or private gatherings. We all had a wonderful time, we are definitely coming back for the full V2 experience next time or just to rent one of the very modern and clean accommodations. Thank you Jade!

You know the saying “When it’s nice, do it twice” well man, I’m in love with this place so much that I stayed here 4 times in one year. It’s my home away from home all credit to the exceptional service and hospitality! My last trip was the favourite of them all as it was my first time celebrating Christmas in Jamaica and first one away from home. The warm hospitality from the team at Sol’s ensured that my Christmas was memorable, filled with delicious Jamaican cuisine and exciting tours to the famous Blue Hole, Ochi nightlife experience and Bob Marley Museum.

I’ll definitely be back for a fifth trip !

I spent 10 unforgettable days at Sols Oasis in May with a friend, and it was truly a slice of paradise. This guesthouse in Oracabessa, Jamaica, lives up to its name - it's a peaceful retreat that melts your stress away.
Jade, our host, was absolutely amazing. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The property has such a lovely, relaxed vibe, complete with friendly dogs that add to the welcoming atmosphere.

The location is perfect for those seeking a quiet getaway. We found ourselves unwinding completely, surrounded by the natural beauty of Jamaica.

I loved how clean and cute my cottage bedroom and bathroom was. And I felt very safe and secure on the compound. I enjoyed walking through the gardens, and having a freshly brewed cup of coffee surrounded by a canopy of trees as I heard stories about the land and the area. Jade is a wonderful, patient and kind host who accommodated my plant based diet and made some very tasty and creative meals using fresh local ingredients many of which were grown on the property.

I had the privilege of staying at Sols Oasis in Jamaica for a total of 6 months, both in 2020 and again in 2022, as a digital nomad. The internet connectivity was consistently reliable, allowing me to work without any hitches. The accommodations were not only comfortable and clean, but also exuded a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The meal plan offered turned out to be a true highlight, adding convenience and a delightful culinary experience to my stay. Sols Oasis truly proved to be the perfect haven for any digital nomad seeking both productivity and comfort.

I stayed at Sol’s Oasis for 1 month, and after leaving, found myself truly missing the home I found there. As a digital nomad who travels frequently, I need to stay in places that offer good internet connection, and a private room with desk. Ideally, I try to stay in sociable coliving spaces where I can meet people and experience the local way of life. Sol’s Oasis is the only place in Jamaica that offered exactly what I was looking for.

The accommodation is very clean and modern, and I felt very comfortable with my room. Just a note that air conditioning is not offered but my room had 2 fans. The internet worked well, and the one time I had an issue Jade had a backup internet option. I was able to get a lot of work done during my time. My most productive days were on rainy afternoons, when the tropical flowers and plants outside came alive, and the cool breezes flowed through my window. Nothing like the smell of wet earth and nature right outside your doorstep!

During my month, there were other guests in and out for different durations. It was great to make connections with really cool people from different walks of life! Moreover, the staff at Sol’s are so genuine and caring. I feel that if I got sick Nicole & Sam would’ve taken great care of me. Also, Nicole is a wonderful cook. I definitely recommend the meal plan for at least part of your visit. Jade, the founder and manager of Sol’s, is such an interesting person and I really appreciated all the local insights and recommendations she gave me. We had lots of great conversations about Jamaican culture and the way of life, which helped me when I felt the inevitable culture-shock of living in a new place.

Lastly, I’ll talk about Oracabessa. It’s a tiny town in a less explored (by tourists) part of Jamaica. Rural. There are fancy resorts and villas right near Sol’s Oasis however they are private and beaches are inaccessible. If you don’t have a car you must get comfortable with taking local taxis to get around. I frequently walked to the fisherman’s beach near Sol’s where I was able to catch amazing sunsets and swim. Apart from a couple restaurants in walking distance, Oracabessa is a quiet place.

This review turned out longer than I expected, but I could go on. Overall, I had an unforgettable time in Jamaica and I grew a lot from the experience. Thank you to Jade and the team at Sol’s Oasis. I think fondly of my time there!

Where do I start! Jade is amazing, her staff is amazing, and the property is a perfect place to chill out like a local. The food we ate on the property was way better than a lot of places we ate in town. The accommodation was perfect. Comfortable and clean. Our tours were so fun. Jade knows the island very well. We will be bringing a group back soon!
