I rarely take the time to fill reviews but my experience with Soldered was so good it was well worth the effort. I bought a couple of sensors, they arrived as advertised and well packaged. The pack of sweets and discount of the next purchase were a very nice touch !
I had a couple of technical questions on the sensors and the support team responded super quickly and with a no-fuss approach. Each sensor also has a GitHub repository online with reference code to set them up with micro-controllers (in my case an ESP32).
I HIGHLY recommend this service, I will definitely order again.
My only request to soldered is if they are able to enrich their library of hardware available, they would become my go-to supplier.

InkPlate 5 Great hardware, but...
I bought an InkPlate 5 which is a Black & White display resolution 960 x 540. The quality on the display is excellent, and the MCU is based on the ESP32 which is also an excellent processor. Very happy with the hardware. However the software is painful, using the InkPlate libraries, to build the code to run anything on the display can take over 30 minuets to build, assuming it builds first time. Developing anything takes forever. If you look at what the compiler is doing, it is doing multiple Deep Searches and many many times over. I really dislike this sort of unnecessary complication.

Excellent Customer Service
I had a technical issue with an Inkplate device that seemed to be due to an issue on my end. I contacted support (via the Contact page on their website), and they were incredibly responsive to my request! Robert Sorić was very helpful, quickly narrowing down my issue to its root cause. He even wrote up some quick code for me to test on my device to debug further.
Within several days of emails back and forth (mostly due to delays on my end), the issue was fully resolved and my device is back to working order. They were also very responsive to suggestions about changes to their documentation that would have helped me avoid this situation. All-in-all, incredible customer support.
The downsides are that their forum is currently out of commission, though they informed me that they are working on bring it back up. Additionally, while their docs were reasonably thorough for someone experienced in the space to get up to speed, they did not cover frequent failure modes at the time of writing. Finally, I ordered a battery from their website, and my order was cancelled immediately after completion due to having to ship the battery internationally. It would be really nice if they would just refuse to sell it to me in the first place.
However, these are all fixable, and relatively small. The company has excellent customer support, and an open, hackable product that truly excels. Thus, I happily give them five stars!
