Poor Communication and Company Response

We would give a 1 star if it wasn't for their customer service rep, Kristy! My husband order the Pecron E3600LFP with (2) 300W panels on 6/4. Heard nothing back on the order for 8 days, went online with Chat Bot, told they would expedite response ticket, 4 more days without any response or info on order, Chat Bot once again said they will expedite response ticket. Called Customer service on 6/19 spoke with Kristy, who stated would send urgent request for info. Called Kristy again on 6/22 and she stated, she was surprised by no response from company. We requested it be cancelled, issued dispute through Credit Card. Received invoice on 6/23, product finally arrived 6/24. 20 days without any communication from company about order, except the order info after being shipped 6/24. We did cancel the dispute with credit card company after confirming product was received in good working order.

Radio Silence

Ordered some batteries 10 days ago. No updates, no estimated shipping, just one email saying that the order was placed. They have a chat bot that isn’t connected to anyone and no one picks up the phone or replies to emails. It seems they exist but from my correspondence you wouldn’t know it

Repeated Errors and Lack of Accountability

My entire ordering experience with Solar Guy Pro was a frustrating exercise in business mismanagement and poor customer service.

From the start, the order was a mess: I was invoiced twice for the same purchase, shipping was significantly delayed without warning, and communication was non-existent, I was constantly left in the dark wondering where my paid merchandise was.

When the order finally arrived, it was missing a component. This led to the discovery that there was a major miscommunication internally and with the manufacturer, meaning the listing on their website was wrong.

At this point, I simply wanted to return the partial merchandise and be done with the company. I was shocked when they refused to waive their 20% restocking fee, arguing, "we would lose money." As a business, when you create this level of error and chaos for a customer, absorbing the loss and waiving the fee is the only correct path to owning your mistake. Attempting to profit from your own failures is unacceptable.

It wasn't until I initiated a chargeback that a manager finally contacted me. While the manager was polite, his initial offer was sending me the missing part as a "managerial gesture", but that was simply fulfilling the original order I had already paid for. After correcting him, he offered a minor compensation for my time and trouble, but it still fell short of truly acknowledging the massive administrative failures, delays, and stress I endured.

Solar Guy Pro needs to fully own their mistakes rather than asking customers to pay for their poor internal processes.

Ghosted, Tim is awesome though

I ordered a complete kit with Flexboss and Aptos panels for $19400 at a good price and Tim was very helpful and courteous. The sale went through, approved on my credit card only yo be cancelled by solarguys two days later. I called and Tim helped me again but he didn’t know what happened, talked to his boss and they were supposed to resubmit my order but did not. Tried yo call multiple times over the next few days and setup a return call but no one ever called me back. Totally ghosted me. Had to order from another company but thank the lord it was cheaper 🙂
