Well the first thing is the Academy is registered with NCFE UK .. so reliable.
Secondly They really explain well in trial session. Ben was really helpful to evaluate the kids interest of the program.

My son loved his taster session with Ben Andrews. Ben was really good at explaining and made the experience very enjoyable. Thank you so much for a fab time and we would definitely recommend for the young gamers in your house!

My daughter enjoys her coding lessons, but I feel the sessions can be rushed and communication with parents is poor. At £79 per month for four one-hour lessons during term time, I would expect clearer and more regular information about what she is learning, the progress she is making, how long the course is expected to continue and when she may achieve an accreditation.

We have received termly reports, but these have not given me a meaningful understanding of her progress. I recently emailed Software Academy asking for this information but have not yet received a reply.

The lessons themselves appear enjoyable, but the limited feedback and communication make it difficult to judge whether the course represents good value for money.

Sachin was the tutor for my 11 year old son's taster session for an introduction to 3D game design and coding. He built a rapport quickly, was friendly, engaging and managed to hold my son's attention for the whole session. My son really enjoyed learning about coding and especially enjoyed the unreal engine game design section. Very impressed, Thank you.

Had a free trial which my son loved & is booked onto 2 weeks over the summer.
We were booked onto one course but then had it cancelled as was over subscribed so this did send my son into a spiral as he was really looking forward to it. Hopefully the courses he is due to start will be equally enjoyable. He can't wait.
Shane was great with Reggie in the trial. Brought out his confidence &;passion for coding & game design. Looking forward to seeing my son shine even more... can recommend so far.

An amazing experience for my boy age 8. Eden was so calm and gave clear instructions. The softwares she introduced was Python and Unreal Engine which completely blew our minds. Will definitely be signing up for the group tutoring when he turns 9.

Excellent introduction to coding and game development. My son recently completed a one - hour taster session with Damon Mackins and the experience was fantastic.
Damon did an excellent job of introducing both Python coding and the Unreal Engine in a way that was engaging, accessible, and enjoyable. From the outset, Damon was patient, knowledgeable, and able to explain concepts clearly, helping my son feel comfortable and confident whilst exploring some completely new skills.
What impressed me most was how engaged my son remained throughout the session especially as focusing is a huge challenge for him. Damon struck the perfect balance between demonstrating the technology and encouraging hands-on participation, which kept my son interested and motivated. My son was excited about what he had learned and keen to continue developing his coding and game development skills.
I would highly recommend this company to any parent looking to introduce there child to programming, coding or game design. We have had a few taster sessions on coding and this is by far the best and will be looking to start a full course.
Thank you Damon for making it such a positive experience my son went from reserved, slightly panicked as nervous of using a keyboard and mouse to fully confident within the hour.

We had higher expectations for this course. Unfortunately, we did not see noticeable results. The instructions felt more like a to-do list, rather than in-depth guidance. It was difficult for kids to complete projects independently and they often needed extra help.

My son had a wonderful experience, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone. Watching him begin to understand the technology and instructions was truly heartwarming. Over just four months, he has grasped so much of Python, and I couldn't be more proud of his progress.
