Great advice from Joanne and Julie in the Warrington store who helped us find the perfect, affordable bed

I visited the Bolton branch, they do sofas that are made to measure and i must say the choice is endless. I was greeted by a lovely chap called Immy who works weekends please see him in store as he was really helpful.

We ordered a sofa from the Middlebrook store in September - guaranteed for Christmas. It didn't arrive. Told it would be with us four weeks after Christmas. Surprise surprise, no sofa after four weeks. When the sofa finally arrived 7 weeks late, the quality was really disappointing and not acceptable for a new sofa. We immediately raised concerns regarding this, but we then had another battle to return the faulty, poorly made item. We have finally received our deposit back. We are still waiting for the return of the first months' interest free credit installment and the agreed compensation amount which was promised to us after us not having our sofa for Christmas.

We are so so disappointed with this company. They have caused so much unnecessary stress. Trying to communicate with them is extremely difficult - we had to travel to store to get answers each time. The broken promises and the poor quality of the final product were really upsetting.

Do not buy from this company!!!!!

We visited the Preston store again. After being so pleased with our first visit. This time we were looking to purchase a suite. Justin is amazing. He is so friendly and knowledgeable about all the suites. I must have drove him daft but he remained polite, cheerful and helpful. Great service.

Joanne was really great and so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. Whole process really straight forward and sofa ordered.

Very nice store. Staff are polite and extremely helpful, no pressure sell but there when needed which is what we like. After an hour of comfort and a lovely cup of tea our new sofa was ordered with ease. I will be highly recommending Michelle @ the Bolton store. Thank you

Was struggling to find sofas to fit walked into sofa superstore at Bolton and was greeted by Michelle who informed me of there made to measure she was patient and caring finally left after ordering my new sofa would highly recommended sofa superstore Bolton and Michelle

What a lovely friendly family store. Huge selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff with no pressured to buy but we did buy a bespoke sofa tailored to our measurements. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Thanks Gary F you were fab.

What a lovely bunch of staff at the Sofa Superstore (Warrington). The help and advice given by Joanne made buying a bed so easy, she left us alone to try each one, with no pressure to make a purchase. Came back after measuring and completed the sale. Would definitely recommend!

Lauren was extremely helpful at the Horwich retail park store. Gave really clear explanations of all the products and offered a fantastic deal on the combination of 3 and 2 seat sofa.

We were allowed to take our time without any pressure. But also given excellent information regarding products when needed. Julie was pleasant and very helpful in us making a well informed decision.

I ordered a recliner chair from Sofa Superstore on 23rd November, with a quoted delivery time of 8–10 weeks. After chasing the order when that timeframe had passed, I was informed the delivery had been pushed back to May, which is completely unacceptable and far beyond the original commitment.

Following a complaint, the store offered an alternative chair which I agreed to only on the basis that it was in stock and that it would be available quickly. In store I was informed it would take 10 days, from their customer service I was informed 7 working days but to prepare for 14 working days, however, 14 working days after confirmation of the replacement order, there is still no delivery date and no indication of dispatch.

Communication has been poor throughout, and despite several attempts to resolve the situation, there has been little clarity or urgency from customer service.

At this point, I have lost confidence in the company’s ability to fulfil the order and have formally requested delivery within a final deadline, failing which I will be cancelling and seeking a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

This has been a very frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering if delivery timelines are important.
