I have an oversized Greyhound who 75% if the time is a dream to walk but if I take him to a new place or he sees a squirrel, rabbit or cat then his over excitement and prey drive kicks in.
As this is obviously not his fault and he is a gentle giant I was looking for a gentle way to stop him pulling.
The harnesses and double ended lead (which I connect one end to the front of the harnesses and the other to his collar) have been a game changer.
I feel so much more confident in controlling him and we are both happier on our walks.

The escape proof harnesses are a perfect fit. Both greyhounds are very comfortable in them and I feel reassured that escape will only be possible if I drop the lead. The harnesses are well made with plenty of padding to prevent running on their skin.
The handle on their backs have proved invaluable when they decide it was cat for dinner! I was able to hang on and steer them away with ease.

A great website. Excellent products and fast service. I purchased a leather whippet collar but was unsure of sizing so asked the question on their web chat, following their reply I made my purchase which arrived next day. The leather is of excellent quality, soft and durable with good quality brass fittings. My beautiful rescue whippet is safe and happy wearing it. An excellent escape proof harness for my Greyhound. Plenty of adjustment and easy to fit . It can be fitted over a coat if required. A good choice of colours and well made in a comfortable material. An easy to use website and fast tracked delivery. A plus for all rescued sighthound owners is Snootiful's commitment to supporting hound charities.

Wow, wow and wow again!
I placed my order for a harness after purchasing one from another website which rubbed my poor young Lurcher under his leg, making it sore.
We looked at Snootiful Hounds and thought we would give it a try as the website says they fit hounds better as they are made for their body shape.
Anyway, ordered on Thursday and Friday morning Mr Postman delivered it! I have never had anything arrive so fast, ever.
I unpacked it, adjusted it and pooch and I were off on our mid-morning walk looking smart and safe.
The quality is fantastic and the fit perfect, happy pooch who is not scared to put this harness on, because this one doesn’t rub him. Will definitely recommend to other hound owners and purchase from Snootiful Hounds again. Thank you

We have a lively young Whippet x Sprocker who can be a handful to walk, and we have tried every combination of collars, leads and harnesses without success. The Martingale collar is an absolute game changer! The collar is extremely well made, fits well, and is a great colour. I feel in control and I have confidence that Barry won't escape. Barry seems to like it too. We have just purchased a second collar in a different colour and it is also very well made - soft, but strong. I'd definitely recommend a Snootiful Hound Martingale collar to anyone struggling to cope with an excitable dog.

Searching for a long dog harness online and found Snootifulhound. I liked the explanation behind the design and went with our order. The sizing instructions were straightforward and the harness and seatbelt attachment arrived rapidly ☺️

My only request would be a fitting guide. Something like middle strap should be four fingers behind front leg. Just to be really sure it’s fitted correctly. I may have missed this if it’s already on the site.

Arthur loves his new harness, the adjustment on it is great. Arthur was just on the cusp of the smaller size but with there being so many places to finer adjust, the next size up which was recommended, fits perfectly. This harness was replacing another well known make which is too tight behind Arthur’s front legs. Snootifulhound’s straps are perfectly set in the right positions. He is only a very small whippet but I went for the size small 54-69 cms.
Obviously, we have not worn it every day yet, so I do not know how it will wear but it looks very well made.
