Very fast delivery service
Very fast delivery service. I gave a lot of these masks as birthday presents as they are reusable (hand washable). From a personal point of view I find the cotton is so thick that I struggle to breath - so only wear for a short period of time - but others have found them very comfortable. Good to support a local company.

Well made
Really well made and delivered very quickly. Problem is that they are to thick so when they are on its a bit difficult to breath and the cloth moves in and out with each breath. Some kind of clip or something to hold glasses on would be great. Shopping in them is problematic as my glasses keep sliding off.

Hi Alan - we recommend loosening the toggles and nose clip - this should improve airflow/circulation and prevent the partial vacuum which can happen if over-tightened. Interesting about the glasses clip/grasp - we will think more on this! Thank you!

When my mask arrived it looked lovely was pleased it had metal nose part and that there was a bit to tighten or loosen straps, very useful for different size faces

The masks themselves are ok but abit large and because the material is abit stiff they feel abit uncomfatable and they stick out abit around the nose.

Hi Tammy - thanks for the feedback. We try our best to make the size right for all with the adjustable toggles. Our kids range is 20% smaller and may be better for petite faces - a couple of the designs seem popular with adults - like the flamingos, stars, sunshine. But we understand we won;t get the perfect size for everyone. We hope the organic cotton softens after washing a couple of times. The cut of the mask is deliberate to improve airflow and hold the material away from your lips - we hope you don;t look to Pinnochio :)!

Thanks for your review Radi - all Smugs have a stainless steel nose clip integrated - we have emailed you to confirm we haven't somehow missed stitching yours in! At Smug we deliberately do not include a slot for a filter and articulate the reasons behind this on our website. There is a lot of misleading and confusing information and marketing surrounding the purpose, design and use of fabric face coverings. We don’t want to trade on people’s anxieties, nor imply a false sense of security which may lure folk into adjusting social distancing behaviours. We also don’t want to add more man made fibre to landfill. Smugs are double-layered organic cotton, with a moulded fit, nose clip and adjustable toggles. We feel this is superior to most fabric face coverings in terms of reducing leakage and protecting others. We will of course keep iterating the design based upon feedback - thanks!

Cool! As face coverings go these are as good as it gets. Whilst face coverings are not the most comfortable things to wear, especially in hot weather, I've not come across any that are so well made, such a good fit and so easily adjustable. As an added bonus they come in a range of funky designs and colours. It's so much nicer to add a bit of personality to an otherwise purely functional item. They're also ethically made in the UK, what's not to love. Keep smiling and thank you Smug! :-)
