First class company

I can’t praise this company enough. I had a partial denture that didn’t fit properly, my dentist said it was the best they could do because I have gag reflex. John made me a new one they fit perfectly and I no longer gag. They look so natural. Everyone is so professional.

Bad review…

I've been to smiles better at Manchester Bury new road.to have a full set of dentures. I paid all up front but that Was a mistake.been a few times to get them sorted properly and every time I come out .they are worse. .I wish now I had gone somewhere else.
I would not recommend smiles better to anyone at all.if you are after dentures then go somewhere else.
Mine a poor fitting I have to use pollygrip so I can eat .I've just had a phone call today 11.september 2023.
I've explain my visits by saying everything I go back my false teeth is worse and I using fixedent.I am still saying that I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. I wish I never paid up front for my treatment. So like I said nothing has changed my opinion on them.

Adjustments Are Standard: During the initial consultation, all our patients are informed that adjustments are a standard and necessary part of the denture process. Achieving the perfect fit often requires multiple visits to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.

Number of Visits: On average, most patients require approximately four visits to achieve the desired fit. It appears that you've come for only one adjustment post-review, which might not be sufficient to address all concerns comprehensively.

Our Commitment: We are genuinely dedicated to providing excellent aftercare services. However, we can only assist you effectively if you are willing to collaborate with us through the treatment process. We've extended an invitation for you to return to our practice for further adjustments, but you have declined this invitation.

Missed Communication: On your last visit, we requested that you contact us within two weeks to inform us of any ongoing issues or the need for additional adjustments. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication from you during this period.

We genuinely care about your satisfaction and want to help you achieve the best possible fit for your dentures. Please consider revisiting our practice so that we can work together to address your concerns and ensure you have a comfortable experience with your dentures. Our team is always here to assist you in any way we can.

Wow what can I say

Wow what can I say, Brilliant service from my 1st visit for the consultation, right up to day when I had a slight issue will my bottom denture. This why they suggest the final review, as soon as I mentioned I had a problem I was swiftly booked in.everyone has been so lovely Sally so friendly and professional. For me the 1st impression means a lot. John and Pascol brilliant explained everything and immediately felt I was I safe hands.finally Roni who explained what options for payments and much more.

Rubbish company who can't even send an email

I booked a consultation and was advised to pay £25.00 immediately. I was advised I would get an email to confirm my appointment. However after 2 calls and subsequent discussions I still do not have my email to confirm the appointment.

These people are Cowboys!!!!! quick to grab your money but not quick enough to confirm a simple appointment.

Stay clear of this Company and find someone reputable - smiles better service is no better than horse droppings.

This review is unfair and dishonest. We booked an appointment for this customer and emailed him immediately to the email address which was provided. Subsequently, we found out that it was an incorrect email supplied and we reconfirmed the email address with the customer over the telephone.

The minute we found out that this gentleman was unhappy with the service provided, a £25.00 refund was provided within minutes of the call and we wished him the best of luck with his treatment elsewhere.

Saying that we are "cowboys" is defamatory and not an accurate account of what happened.

Again, we wish you the best of luck with your treatment elsewhere and I am sorry to hear that we couldn't please you on this occasion.

Just before we start I am of sound mind…

Just before we start I am of sound mind and body as I write this review, as most people who are disatisfied with smiles better are blamed for having deminished mental capacity.
And this is second review as we was theatened that if we did not take the other neagative review they would not complete the treatment.
My wife went for an implanted lower denture at Smiles Better and The quotation was in the region of £5000 + this was back in November 2019.
The wife then went the the implant surgery and had the implants fitted and was told there is a period of healing before Completion.
The final surgury before the work was completed and we paid £5300 up Front Bear in mind that the Implanted denture was not fitted at this stage and my wife was living with a temperary denture.
Then Covid comes along Everywhere closed.
In the mean time Company goes into liquidation.
And then started up again There was loads of promises about completing the treeatment after Covid so we waited and waited still no contact.
When they finally opened again the dentist treating my Wife had gone they had no one in place to complete the treeatment but not to worry as soon as they get a dentist they will complete the treatment.
Jump ford now to February 2021, 11 months after surgery Implants are in and Stiil no implanted denture fitted.
We was told still no Dentist and as it was a new company they need CQC Approval to carry out this work.
So we waited Still bear in mind Work not complete and still with temperary denture.
So we waited and waited Still no Contact from them the after finally getting a replay they refered us to another place for X Rays to see if Implants had taken and it turned out.
One had not needed to be removed.
Which as you can imagine more pain and suffering.
Eventually we decided we had had enough of the excuses and proceeded with getting the work done Somewhere else.
At our cost I asked Romi if he'ed like to Contribute toward the cost of completing the tretment but he refused saying as it was a new Company there were not obligated to and were only agreeing to continue with the treatment as a good will gesture.
The good news is that my wife now has her implanted denture and all is well.
It will be interesting to see what the response is about my review.
And I am sure there are other people out there in the same position as my wife.
In closing I would not recommend using these poeple if they were the last dentist on Earth.

This is a very lengthy review so I will keep the reply short. Our company started in 2020 so the review isn’t about us. The old company is nothing to do with us. It had different owners directors and shareholders, therefore sadly we can’t help. We explained that we don’t employ a dentist so how can we help. We understand your frustration but there is nothing we can do. We aren’t a dental practice. We are a denture practice.

Very happy with new dentures

went in for new dentures as having problems with the ones I had made somewhere else. Very pleased with the look and feel of the dentures and would not hesitate to recommend them. Nice helpful staff too!

Highly recommend

Thank you for admitting on Trust Pilot that I was your patient. You had earlier denied that I was EVER your patient.
By stating that you offered to correct this with a free appointment, you have proved that I was your patient.

And by admitting that you offered to put things right, but without a GUARANTEE.(I have proof that I was told this).
When you buy a product it comes with a guarantee.
If you are not satisfied you get your money back.
Another reason I walked out was that you wanted an extra £1200.00 to put things right.
Please don’t deny that you asked for the extra £1200.00 to put things right.
I should have been aware when initially you had quoted £8450.00 and then reduced that to £4150.00.I have just had new IMPLANT RETAINED dentures made in India. They may be cheap, but are effective and I am really happy with them. Cost me £300.00 compared to your useless £4250.00 dentures. If you want I can come and show you the cheaply made dentures and compare both.
That was the biggest mistake I ever made coming to your clinic.
If I don’t get my money back, it’s fine. I will think I have donated that money to charity,but Its bothering me and hopefully no one else gets trapped

This patient isn’t of sound mind and has some serious psychological issues. All 3 negative reviews are from the same patient as he has opened 3 separate accounts. Clearly living an empty life struggling to find happiness with too much time on his hands. I hope he finds peace within himself and makes better use of his time. Unfortunately being angry wanting a refund stating that our prices are higher than they are in India is an obvious and a ridiculous comment. I'm sorry that we cannot sell dentures at similar prices to India, but our running costs, staff costs etc are considerably more. I think the public can read these comments and see for them selves how riduculous this review is. In fact we have checked and across all 3 reviews you have made and edited 21 different reviews!! Instead of spending all these hours on multiple accounts and being so angry try to put your time to good use. I will pray for you.

My name is joan foster i had a bridge done a couple of years ago and i must say it is the best thing i ever did i was worried about having it done but the staff reassured me the whole place is spotless the staff are really lovely and the treatment i got was 100% top quality i would definitely recommend it to anyone from one very happy lady

First class service!!!!

During my initial consultation with Romi, Patient Care Coordinator; he had an extensive database of knowledge and made various alternative suggestions in terms of what they could offer me. I settled on having dental implants. I underwent a consultation with Mr Fawaz Abbas, whom made supplementary recommendations on what treatment, he would be undertaking for my dental implants procedures. Today (7th June 2019), I had the final work on my implants. I am over the moon with joy/satisfaction. For a number of years I endured having partial dentures. I now have nothing falling out of my mouth!! I recommend them “unreservedly” and you won’t be disappointed!!! A very big thank you to the team!!!

Disappointed

Unfortunately, I wasted over one and a half hours travelling to this practice. I had booked a consultation with a Coordinator for potential implant surgery. When I arrived I was told by a surprised but an apologetic dentist that unfortunately the Implantologist was leaving soon and not taking on any more cases, so hence Mr Semp was not at the practice. Very disappointed I did not receive a call to tell me there was no point coming all the way over. The practice reminded me with plenty of messages saying there would be a charge for not attending. Does this mean I’m entitled to a £50 now for being so poorly let down!

In response to your review.

I contacted you on the 13th May 2019 at 6:11pm to find out how we can assist you prior to your appointment. I spoke with you for almost 10 minutes on the phone at length. This call was recorded.

During the call, I explained that implants are not the only option. As a practice, we do not like to push the most expensive treatment on to all patients. I explained that there may be a range of treatment options from dentures to bridgework to implants and we would look at ALL options, rather than just the one option. Often what a patient wants is not always the best option, so its imperative that our surgeon gives you a detailed examination and if implants are a viable option you would be sent to see the implant surgeon.

You had a detailed appointment with our dentist. This included X-rays if necessary and all Free of Charge.

If you then wanted to have implants and were adamant that this way the treatment you wanted to opt for, we would refer you to our Implant Dentist. The consultation was free and you were booked in for a full hour. Additionally, you arrived to the practice late for your first appointment and the dentist still saw you.

I apologise if you misunderstood our whole telephone conversation, however I did reiterate the above points several times on our telephone call.
