When I first approached TDC to start my assessment for the poor state my teeth had become over years of abuse, my trepidation at the scale of the treatment (extractions, implants etc.) were allayed by the whole process being explained in layman's terms and most importantly there would be minimal discomfort/pain. Initially, I was sceptical at the minimal discomfort/pain, as my previous experiences with other dental practices had left my 'mentally scarred'. All I would say on this point to those of a similar nature to me with their dentists is that have no fear and do not put off your treatment, as your life is improved immeasurably with being able to eat again without any impediment. For a big foodie that is fantastic!

Edwin Kalish and his team were absolutely true to their word with the treatment going through without any discomfort/pain and to plan!! Their attention to ensuring my well being throughout the treatment was first class. Arranging appointments (Angie was a star) to fit in with my hectic life schedule to Edwin carrying out the treatment was absolutely brilliant. I can strongly recommend this highly professional team to deliver life changing improvements to your teeth.

Having had very bad experiences of dentists in Cyprus, including the offer of implants without a CT scan, I was delighted with the procedure and the way it was carried out. It was pain free, done in an unbelievable short time. The staff were were most professional and understanding, reassuring me of any doubts I may of had. It is now a pleasure to eat and to smile. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to this practice.

One year since my permanent set of teeth were fitted and all good. On two separate occasions since, complete strangers have complimented my teeth. During the initial consultations Dr Zybuts said this may happen. I was sceptical at the time but (as usual) he was absolutely right in what he said.
Day to day, this has made such a improvement to my life in many, many ways and I only wish I had seen Dr. Zybuts 20 years ago.

Dr. Zybuts and his team are still at the top of their game and he is the only dentist you want to see.

A fantastic experience. No pain, very well managed procedure and exemplary counsel both before and after the surgery. Thoroughly efficient organization, friendly and helpful doctors and staff. Cannot speak highly enough of the company and its conduct.

From start to finish I have had proper and unstinting professional care from all members of staff relating to implants done on my upper and lower jaw.

From the moment I entered the clinic I felt at ease and relaxed, my first consultation with Dr Anthony Zybutz made me feel confident and assured that this was the right treatment for me.
The day of my surgery I was nervous on arrival, but was immediately made to feel relaxed.
I don't actually remember any part of the procedure as I opted for Conscious Sedation, so was pain free throughout.
I cannot thank the amazing team of people involved in my surgery and post-operative care enough, I know have the smile that i could only dream of.
From start to finish I felt at ease and comfortable in the knowledge that the people looking after me only had my welfare and comfort at the forefront.

I have been so impressed with the whole experience with TDC, my teeth were in such a bad way I was really at the end of my tether. I now have a second chance and am so pleased with my new teeth. Everything was explained so clearly and everyone was so supportive, the procedure went so smoothly. My daughter has an upcoming wedding in the next few weeks and I will have no problem smiling for the photos !!!

I cannot praise highly enough, the treatment I received and continue to receive, from Anthony and the team at TDC Harley Street. As I write this, it’s 2 weeks to the day since I had the surgery and first set of implants fitted. I had all my teeth removed and replaced with new teeth top and bottom, if you’re considering this, it’s all still fresh in my memory, so below is my account.

Wth my receding gums reaching the point that I could feel my teeth becoming less and less secure, I went to see Anthony at TDC Harley St. I was aware of them via their radio ads and although this brought them to my attention, it also made me a little wary. A good website and high public profile is no guarantee of a good service or good value. My past history with dentists generally, isn’t great and had made me somewhat suspicious, so I did as much research as possible, but realised it was all going to come down to my instinctive feeling about the TDC set-up when I met them. If I had got the slightest sense I was being schmoozed or BS’d in any way I wouldn’t have gone ahead, I needn’t have worried.

Everyone I met was friendly, professional and courteous from the word go. Their surgery is clean, smart and comfortable but not flashy, a good start. Antony explained what and how they do what they do, gave me the chance to ask as many questions as I wanted and then examined me. He treated me with respect and spoke to me honestly about where I stood - and that was all I really wanted, I felt I could and should trust him.

I was sent for a scan and a couple of days later received a detailed (and fully costed) breakdown of the 2 options that Anthony and their surgeon felt were viable in my case. One was to save some lower teeth and place implants around them, the other was the more straight forward 4 on 4 option. ie. Take them all out and install 2 new rows of teeth. It seemed pretty nuclear, I would have none of my own teeth, although I took a while to get my head around it, in my heart I already knew, I’d known it for months, it still took a bit of getting used to though.

I went for another consultation with Anthony, to go over the choices and ensure I was in the best position to decide what to do. I went for the 4 on 4 option, it made the most sense and would be a less complicated procedure. While I was there, Anthony kindly and painlessly, took out a couple of back teeth that had been causing me grief for weeks. He even called me later that evening to make sure I was ok.

Two weeks later it was the big day, I’m certainly not brave enough to go through such a procedure with just local anaesthetics and having opted for the ‘Conscious Sedation’ I first met Nico, the anaesthetist, to discuss what would be in the mixture of intravenously administered drugs and how they would affect me. He mentioned that he’d had TDC do an implant for him the previous week and told me not to worry, “these guys are amazing”, I couldn’t have asked for a better endorsement. I then met Nuno, the surgeon, for a similar discussion before taking my place in the hot seat. I remember very little of the next 5 hours except some of the drilling, normal, squeamish me would have been totally freaked out by this, but I was completely relaxed and not remotely concerned. I remember being curious as to whether the bone density was sufficient for their needs, but decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea to try and ask while Nuno was actually boring holes in my jaw. Then a voice said, “that’s it, all done, would you like to have a pee?” which, as it happened, I did.

I needed some help to steady myself when getting out of the chair but once on my feet I was okay and, post pee, was led back to Anthony’s surgery for impressions. I needed a few more local jabs because I had asked that my intravenous cocktail didn’t include any pain killing opiates (they don’t agree with me). Afterwards and with a numb and swollen face I went for a lie down for about 2½ hours while they made my new teeth.

The fitting of the teeth was very quick, they are screwed in and tightened with a torque wrench, just like cylinder head bolts on an engine. I thought this may be uncomfortable and seem weird, but it really didn't. Then the reveal, this is quite a moment, when you see your new smile in the mirror, perhaps grimace would be a more accurate description, but no matter the expression the new teeth look amazing and real and just wonderful. It’s really a very emotional moment, I bet some people burst into tears, although I managed not to. Then with a small number of pills, mainly anti-inflammatories and my care instructions, which Anthony delivered to both me and my wife who had come to collect me, I was all set to be taken home. When she first saw me, she said, “oh you look fine, I was expecting you to look much worse than that”. I think I’ll just take that at face value and say that’s a good thing.

Over the next couple of days my face stayed swollen and some bruising appeared, Ange called to see if everything was alright and to ask if I had any concerns, but I was fine. I had no pain at all, I’m sure the ibuprofen played it’s part, but I really didn’t. The new teeth were a bit uncomfortable and obviously felt strange, after all they are different to what my mouth was used to. I was on a soup and pasta diet with a little ice cream for about 3 days, but not really very hungry anyway. As my face began to return to it’s normal shape the bruising came out more and for a day or so I looked pretty rough, although I felt okay.

After 11 days I was back in Anthony’s chair for a check-up and some adjustments to the new teeth to make them more comfortable. He seemed happy with how things were healing, I’m feeling better all the time and as the gums heal, getting more comfortable chewing, although I’m still taking it easy.

Obviously I still have some time to go before the process is complete, but just 2 weeks in, I have to say I feel so much better already. The TDC team have been fantastic and I said at the beginning, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Obviously it’s a big investment and an irreversible process but if I had to make the decision all over again, but with benefit of hindsight, I wouldn’t do anything different.

As a dental phobic individual and coward, I comprehensively researched the many industry options before committing to what really has turned out to be a positive, life-changing experience. Anthony and the team are extremely professional and their focus on the needs of the customer are genuinely second to none. The modern facilities reflect the high quality of the service provided and the team dynamic is always warm, friendly and welcoming creating a first class customer experience. I have no hesitation in highly recommending TDC as the first choice option.

Best choice I could have made, excellent care throughout the treatment and the after care is really good.

From my first visit with Anthony I knew I was in safe hands. From the start I was looked after completely. Michael, Anthony and their teams made me feel totally at ease and showed nothing but kindness and professionalism. It was a long day but I left with a beautiful smile and feeling great. In the 15 months since I had my procedure I haven't had a single moment of pain or concern regarding my teeth. Anthony understood exactly what I wanted, and what I didn't want! For anyone thinking about going to TDC I would encourage you to. I just wish I found them earlier, it's the best money I have ever spent.

I had a full upper arch denture/implant fitted in 2012 and have recently returned to have a minor repair done. The service of staff at TDC was first class both for the original surgery and subsequent follow up appointments. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
