What a phenomenal experience it has been chatting with Luke! He has been there every step of the way, sending along pictures of his progress and helping to design an amazing knife. I am beyond excited to get to work with one of his beautiful tools. There is no one out there today building knives quite like this and the unique nature of the tool itself also lends to the unique experience Luke provides throughout the process. You truly feel like you are right there with him watching the process unfold. He communicates with you every step of the way and you can tell how deeply he wants to make you something special. If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these knives you should go for it. You won’t be disappointed by his willingness and drive to make the perfect knife for you. This is my first purchase from Slöjd and Spōn and certainly won’t be my last. Really smooth transaction and a top gent to deal with! Walked me through every step of the process and offered a very welcomed input when it came to the design and colours. Knives seem to be like nothing else currently available on the market. I've been following Luke's journey into woodworking and knife making for quite a long time now, and it's been incredible to watch his skills and business evolve. Edit: having now received the knife, I can safely say that I would recommend slöjd and spōn to anyone! The knife came in perfect condition, arrived super quickly and was packaged up very elegantly. The quality of the product is top notch, the chip carving and painted designs look stunning in person, the knife is super comfy in the hand and glides through wood like butter - and the hand crafted leather sheath is a beauty! Once again, I’d give more than 5 stars if possible!
