My experience with Slater and Gordon from the first point of contact was relaxed and supportive. If you already feel that achieving justice for what was done to you as a child is difficult, engaging Slater and Gordon may leave you feeling even more disappointed. In my experience, the firm made reassuring promises and emphasized their size and years of experience, giving the impression that everything would be handled professionally and with care. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those assurances.

It often felt as though serious claims were treated like minor matters, with the primary focus being on fees rather than on achieving the best possible outcome for the client. Communication was slow, progress appeared minimal, and when cases took longer than expected, it rarely felt as though meaningful work was being done on them. It took them 4 years when the average time is whithin 12 months. I repeatedly asked them to interview me properly and accept the 4 page statement of events that took place at the time and when I finally demanded that they do this prior to handing any documents to the schools lawyers they then told me that it was to late as they had done that 3 months prior so I was ambushed by them and the other lawyers at a settlement conference with a barrister with no business card who spent 2 hours trying to convince me that I had a weak case and that I should accept 125K down from 1.2M and out of the 125K they wanted 100K in fees. Is this the kind of representation that you want for such a serious case?
Legal services are expensive, but the fees charged often seemed disproportionate to the level of service provided. For people who are already dealing with significant trauma and vulnerability, this can add another layer of stress and frustration.

Survivors seeking legal representation deserve professionalism, compassion, transparency, and genuine effort. Sadly, that was not the experience I had. If you are considering legal action, I strongly recommend researching carefully and making sure the firm you choose demonstrates consistent care, communication, and commitment to your case.

I engaged Slater and Gordon to represent me in my claim for compensation after I had been diagnosed with a terminal lung cancer. The overwhelming impression I was left with is that you are simply a file they want to close with the least amount of effort for the maximum amount of money.

My case felt rushed, impersonal, and poorly managed. The focus was clearly on meeting the firm's efficiency targets rather than achieving the best possible outcome for me.

It is disheartening to think that a firm of this size operates this way. The lack of genuine care and commitment to my individual circumstances was appalling. In my opinion, the way they run their client files and operations should be thoroughly reviewed. I would caution anyone against using their services if you expect a solicitor to genuinely fight for your interests.

They are friendly, very professional, and respond quickly, always being honest about processes and outcomes. They knew the system extremely well and were able to explain everything in simple terms.

Update on my last Review they Terminated my case after 3 yrs wrote a recent Review explaining it all after that they said sorry to hear about your experience. So, I did what they asked to report it guess what they did not even get back to me not even a sorry for their mishandling of my case, Trust me they would be sitting back saying oh well. But Karma is coming it's called justice. Best case scenario huge, massive fine or a debarring because in this case it will be well deserved such a failure to the creditable law firms that are out there this firm is not one of those, they will throw you under the bus Please don't let this white collar no goobers take on anything they have no idea how to run a bath let alone a law matter Avoid at all costs if I can turn people off making the biggest mistake in wanting to go to this circus then that will help a little .My ex-solicitor said to me I have to put on my thinking cap and think like a judge would OMG just so thankful you will never be that lady you cannot even be a good solicitor but will say one thing you are in the best place with this firm not sure what's worse you or the firm hard call to make on that . Would have to put on my thinking cap for that management is just as bad to . There was a news report about leaked emails internal issues. Honestly why even bother your such losers and so Embarrassing all round

I have been dealing with Slater and Gordon Lawyers for over 5 years and found then absolutely amazing to deal with. Nothing is a hassle. Specialising in Veteran's issues makes miltary compensation lawyers Brian Briggs and Pia Annan-Anderson a cut above all others. Being so knowledgeable in the DVA system takes the stress out of claims and being so understanding to the unique needs of Veterans makes a massive difference to the often difficult processes. Hilary Briggs was also amazing and had the day to day conduct of my file and was essential to the outcome achieved.

I've booked an online appointment earlier today with Jen Cron which 's scheduled for 30 minutes but unfortunately it hasn't exceeded 4 minutes!!
It's shame that the lawyer hasn't given a chance to ask for a legal advice after a medical panel appointment and all she's understood that I need a medical assist!! she was very quick and just want to end the call, hasn't given any time or chance to ask what I need to ask!! I'm wondering why you let people to book free phone appointment and you scheduled it for thirty minutes if the staff won't consider the people requests then? I do advise either to improve your services or just don't show it up.

We had a great experience dealing with Teegan Head from Slater and Gordon regarding Military Compensation. It was a difficult matter to navigate on our own.
