From start to finish Ria's communication with me was fantastic. Everything i was told was said in great detail and made sure I had good understanding of the process. Can not thank Ria and the team enough.

Firstly a big thanks to the team & M r Lee Jones

I’d had an ongoing issue & was worried to say the least I’d proceeded 2 pcp claims prematurely a year went by while there was a government pause & id missed all emails from the team , meanwhile I was getting further into a claim with an opposing legal team … nearing the end of pcp claim I was made aware I had 2 legal teams an would have to choose one

I wrote to slater a Gordon a received email saying I could be charged up to £250 which worried me more ( some legal charge £200 per claim I had 3) . Anyway after requesting a call I spoke to Lee and explained everything he assured me talked over events and humbly & respectfully agreed to withdraw the claim free of charge with no penalty.

So although technically I did not use the service as intended for this I will recommend and in future myself be choosing the legal team for any of my legal battles I may face ,many thanks again

Very bad experience with Slater and Gordon

I am not satisfied with your response, as the handling of my personal health data by Slater and Gordon may have raised serious concerns regarding possible non-compliance with GDPR principles, and I have still not received a sufficient explanation.
I am concerned as to whether my health data may have been shared with non- profit third parties without clear information and informed consent, in order to carry out unclear procedures, and whether the consent previously given (which was strictly limited to matters relating to my personal injury case) may have been used beyond its original scope ?
I request a formal review of this matter and a clear legal and procedural explanation regarding the actions taken under the supervision of Lisa Fountain, in particular the legal basis for the URGENT REQUEST dated 08.08.2024 to obtain medical records relating to HEALTHY KIDNEYS from a private clinic, and how this may have been connected to my case matters ?
I also note that since 2024 no kidney report or updates not have been carried out, as previously confirmed by Ms Lisa Fountain. I was not informed of this URGENT request and PURPOSES at the time it was made, and I remain concerned about the professional justification for such an action.
Furthermore, I would appreciate clarification as to whether a follow-up URGENT request may have led to a medical appointment scheduled in September 2024 at an IHKB INSTITUTION for unclear procedures, and whether this may have been connected to the above request or was merely coincidental ?
Once the internal investigation has been completed, I kindly request a written response by email within 14 working days from the date of this notice.

I was involved in an accident UK 6 years ago and suffered multiple serious fractures. Unfortunately, my experience with UK Slater and Gordon Lawyers has been deeply concerning.
My UK solicitor disclosed 20 years of my medical history and 5 years of my salary records to the defendant and appeared to follow the defendant’s direction rather than acting in my best interests.
Key expert reports were prepared without essential radiological evidence, yet concluded that I am fit to work full-time until retirement.
This does not reflect my actual condition. I was left without work for around eight months and received no interim payments, despite having a mortgage.
The compensation calculated by my solicitor for multiple fractures was unreasonably low, as if my injuries were minor. In contrast, the defendant later made a global offer several times higher than my solicitor’s valuation.
I am also concerned that, without my knowledge or consent, my UK solicitor urgently arranged tests on my healthy kidneys at a private clinic. The clinic itself warned me about this unusual request. No updated medical report followed, and when I asked for an explanation, I received none.
Shortly after, I received a concerning invitation related to a non-profit organization involving bodily interventions, which raised further questions for me.
During case conferences, I felt misled rather than supported, including what I believe to be incorrect explanations of legal matters. When I refused to sign documents I did not agree with, I was removed from my case.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. I felt that my interests were not properly represented or protected.

I had been allocated Slater and Gordon when the previous law firm just suddenly stopped representing me. This was back in 2020.

Over the years I complained a lot. Mainly at the level of service, or the lack of it. The case handlers (and there were quite a few) all sing a good tune once they start then I would find myself chasing handlers/forms etc. It was really hard frustrating work. I complained to the CEO directly regarding the lack on communication a number of times. To be fair he always replied and then the case would go forward then back to the usual poor standards.

Then one day it changed. Beth Mackay a team leader got in touch. For a while I was apprehensive it would just go back to the norm. It did not. This lady kept me informed, answered queries and was so helpful. She chased up the case and with the help from Ryan Ellis the case/claim was settled. Finally.

I would give Beth and Ryan 5 stars personally but the last five years dealing with the company were not great.

They are both a credit to the company and I hope other solicitors/case handlers learn from them how to conduct themselves when representing clients.

Slater & Gordon offer ‘car finance claims’ following the widespread publicity of finance irregularities in the motor industry.
I signed up almost 12 months ago and have received some updated contact from them since.
Their initial email, to sign up, was 35 pages long without, I could not find, any mention of what they were representing me for. A solicitor colleague could not find it either.
However, in all those emails not one identifies what they are representing me for, ie date, vehicle, dealership and value.
They have not replied.
Since then I have repeatedly asked them but still without response.
I realise that I have signed for them to represent me in this matter but without their response/information I need to consider parting company.
I would like them to contact me with the details I have requested.
