Booking with SkyRun Galveston Management has been an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I booked an expensive three-bedroom condo months in advance for my family’s December 2026 trip to attend Dickens on the Strand, only to have SkyRun cancel our original reservation in June because the owner removed the property from the market. I reluctantly agreed to move to another comparable unit in the same building, trusting SkyRun’s assurance that the transition would be seamless. Then, on August 14, SkyRun canceled that replacement reservation as well, leaving my family scrambling for accommodations only a few months before a major Galveston event when availability was completely gone. I understand that circumstances can change, but having a company cancel two separate accommodations for the same family vacation is unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of reliability and professionalism. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking through SkyRun Galveston to think twice and carefully consider whether they are willing to risk having their reservation canceled after making their travel plans.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would.

Hiring Skyrun Vacation Property Scottsdale under Oeter Vlahos to manage our properties was one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made. We signed with them in 2022 and gave them nearly three years to perform. During that time, they consistently failed to market our properties effectively. We even had to explain basic booking strategies, such as marketing multiple properties together for larger groups. Despite being hired as the experts, they repeatedly demonstrated a lack of knowledge and poor judgment.

Guest screening was equally disappointing. They accepted bookings that resulted in parties and marijuana use at our properties, creating unnecessary damage and headaches.

When we decided to terminate our agreement, the situation became significantly worse. Instead of facilitating a professional transition, they refused to relinquish control of our listings and continued acting as though they had rights they simply did not have. After having the contract reviewed by both our legal counsel and Arizona attorneys, we were advised that they had no legal basis to continue controlling our properties. We ultimately had to change the locks and retake possession ourselves.

Even after asking them to stop advertising our properties, they continued creating obstacles. We attempted to make the transition as smooth as possible by honoring outstanding commissions and transferring existing reservations in good faith. Those efforts were met with resistance instead of cooperation.

As a result, our attorneys are now reviewing the financial damages their actions have caused.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Beyond the poor property management, the most concerning issue was their apparent lack of understanding of their own contract, their legal obligations, and how to conduct a professional transition when a client chooses to leave.

Choose another property management company. It will save you significant time, money, and frustration.

This property is misleading and the host doesn’t care. Appliances were dirty. Highchair was dirty. Supposed to be two queen beds but one was a queen the other a full. Outdoor furniture cushions tore up. They said it was done by an animal but the listing said no pets so not sure what kind of animal did it. Trust me you wouldn’t wanna have an Evening meal in that back yard. Things left by the guest before us. It looked like they walked out and someone just made the beds. VRBO should refuse to have a property on the site when the host is misrepresenting it. Oh and don’t think when you book it that the front is like the pictures. Well the back is worse. There are no trees anywhere around it so be prepared. Garbage bins outside were running over. Definitely misleading people with this one. We called VRBO and they said take a lot of pictures so we did and sent them to them before leaving the property. SkyRun said nothing was wrong with the place and offer us $100 for good measure. Beware of this property and the host. We did not stay there. No way I would stay with my family there.

These people are scammers. Ruining family’s vacations. Refused refund when the place clearly smelled of cigarette smoke

Dishonest. Told us if we leave Airbnb early, they will refund us unused nights. Left, paid for new Airbnb with workable fridge and they then attempted to get us to sign a non-disparagement legal document in order to receive the refund. Had to bypass them and received 3x the amount from Airbnb themselves. They then went and wrote a dishonest review saying we left the house a mess. Thankfully I had videos and picture proof. Shady, unprofessional, dishonest.

Just checked out of Sky Run rentals in Snowmass Colorado. DONT RENT THERE. Inaccurate description. The refrigerator did not reach barely above luke warm. Our neighbors said the same thing. Called and they said they would fix it but did not. Went a week with lukewarm eggs. Milk, meat, etc.

Proptert details said they had iron and board but they did not. Also stated that all unites had microwaves but ours did not. So the food we cooked we had to reheat in the over. Pots and pans were disgusting, sheets had stains on them. The freezer had the owners facial products in the ice box (SKIN ROLER DEVICE).... Disgusting.

We had to take 5 minute showers because the hot water would go out quickly. First 2 nights I tool cold showers.

The propert listing shows a beautiful, open utility closet with a stacked washer and dryer set. We got there and the owners stuff was stacked to the top of the closet and the door was closed with a lock on it but they forgot to lock it. We could not even open the washer and dryer to use them because there was so much stuff.​​ the listing clearly stated WASHER.

When addressing this with the property owner she did nothing to fix the refrigerator issue. She stated the washer and dryer were not for guest use. After leaving a review in Vrbo, they gave us a 1 star rating as guests lol. All we asked for them to fix thru our entire stay was the refrigerator. Did not complain at all, not, once about anything else.

DONT STAY THERE. It was a complete bomb. 2700 bucks for a week with lukewarm food, lack of warm water, and no access to the washer that they clearly advertise

Our expensive family vacation was completely ruined by SkyRun, and their handling of the situation was nothing short of deceptive.
We arrived at our rental to find major appliances completely broken, leaving us unable to cook or even make coffee by the pool. Worse, advertised amenities like a beach cart were missing, forcing us to lug heavy gear by hand. The property itself was much older and smaller than the deceptive listing photos suggested.
However, the physical issues with the house pale in comparison to SkyRun’s shocking disregard for guest safety and professional ethics:
Severe Security Breaches: SkyRun handed out our private door passcode to random "trusted neighbors" and a repairman so they could enter during our stay. They even gave my personal phone number to the repairman to text me directly. After multiple strangers had access to our code, they flat-out refused our request to change the passcode.
Evading a Paper Trail: The rental agent went out of her way to keep all communication off the booking platform. She refused to put anything in writing, insisted on phone calls, and actively tried to solicit us to bypass the platform for future bookings in exchange for a direct discount.
Bait-and-Switch Refund & Extortion: The agent explicitly promised us a full refund over the phone if we checked out early. Once we vacated, she backtracked, offering less than half and claiming "full refund" only meant their "company profit" portion. They then held even that partial refund hostage, refusing to release a single penny unless we signed a legal document promising not to leave them a bad review.
We refused to be bribed into silence. We bypassed SkyRun entirely, took our evidence directly to platform support, and secured our $1,000 refund through them. Dealing with this company was an absolute vacation killer. Do not trust SkyRun with your money, your vacation, or your family's safety.

House in Castle Rock CO was great for our family reunion! The games in the backyard shed included air hockey, ping pong and hoops. The place was very well apportioned and clean. The couch made a great bed even for a 6 foot tall old guy like me! Highly recommend this house.

I used the service for about 18 months and encountered repeated issues.

In March 2025, Skyrun Central placed a 12‑month tenant in my home, despite advertising only short‑term stays. The lease was executed under a short‑term agreement with a 15% management fee—far above the typical 3–7% for long‑term rentals. Although I paid the full fee, I received no management services. I personally handled rent collection, tenant communication, maintenance tasks, yard work, and pest control after Amaica stopped coordinating.
Any services Skyrun Central did offer would have been billed separately at $60 per hour plus supplies, with an additional 15% commission on maintenance—fees I later learned are not standard industry practice.

Without permission, Skyrun removed my $3,900 Helix mattress and replaced it with a low‑cost model. She initially claimed it was discarded, but it reappeared only after I threatened legal action. A high‑value table loaned to me by a friend was also removed and never returned. The total value of items taken without consent is approximately $10,000. She additionally painted my white fireplace black despite my objections, creating costly repairs.

After comparing notes, the tenant and I uncovered multiple inconsistencies in Amaica’s statements. Her conduct failed to meet the promised Airbnb‑style management model, included undisclosed fees, and left me financially and emotionally drained. I strongly caution others against working with Skyrun Central.

Beware this company. They rent via Airbnb and refuse to refund even four minutes post reservation being confirmed. They are sneaky and blame Airbnb but it’s them that withhold monies. I am

received excellent service. The service was reasonably
priced and completed in a reasonable time. We highly
recommend their services. February 14, 2026.

The absolute worse rental unit in the USA. I am very surprised Sky Run would agree to manage such a property.
Never again will I rent from this company.

Terrible experience. Would not refund even though there was a massive wildfire 10 miles away. If you look around you’ll see other people with terrible experiences. Do not book under any circumstances. You can see why they have 1.7 stars on yelp
