I ordered before looking at reviews about this company, after ordering I panicked as I saw very bad reviews, I would have cancelled the order if I could, people saying this company was an outright scam. It wasn't a scam and I have now received all orders from this company. However firstly some of the packaging was appalling and items were barely still contained in the packaging with my name and address on, and on arrival and were badly scratched by transit, but they did arrive barely. That is why I have awarded the extra star just because it isn't a scam and my items did arrive just. Secondly I don't like the attitude of the owner who seems to simply shout down customers who leave their concerns in review form, with denials and clever or terse comments, which rather shows the attitude of the company. And no doubt my review will receive also.
One of the items I bought an £150 1 inch king di*k tools ratchet which was different to what I thought I was ordering because the picture was of the smaller type on the website. The one I got was a head and power bar type, the power bar indent was broken, I contacted them about it but the lady I spoke to called Lisa took me over to the parent company called Tannertrading, and she dealt with it (not!) over there. So I will be leaving a separate review about them.
In summary run your luck if you want with these people, or save your stress and go elsewhere.
This company (sjtools.co.uk) took payment from me via credit card of £587.68 on 28th Nov 2024. Product never arrived, nonsense responses via e-mail that simply say they will check with their warehouse and two months later still no sign of the product. No response when you phone them just recorded messages. Not sure if its fraud or just that they are completely Incompetent. wouldn't go near this company again, please be aware. :-(
Ordered an item on 28 Dec. They said shipping 5-7days when I placed the order.
No order update so I messaged them 8th Jan, got a reply telling me that they only got the order on 6th Jan and that it will go out “today” (How is this possible, I was charged the full amount on 28th Dec, and received order confirmation at the same time???).
Anyways I left it at that thinking, surely if they are going to dispatch it “today”, I.e. on the 8th Jan, then I should get it by the weekend.
Unbelievably, I got an email this morning (13th Jan) that they have just shipped the item. Eh? Excuse me, you said you were going to ship it last week, did you not?
As I am back to normal work schedule now after the festive period, I am very likely to miss the courier’s delivery attempt.
I thought I would save a few bobs buying from them instead of from Amazon, what a mistake. Even considering the break over the new year, two and a half weeks to dispatch an item in stock is shockingly poor service.
Ordered 6 items took 2 weeks for the 5 items to arrive after making a phone call to c/s took another 2 Weeks for the last item after more phone calls and emails
Slow, doesn't respond to emails. Not fit for purpose. Avoid this website and don't be tempted by low prices. Given two stars as they did eventually fulfill the order.
My new car would not fit in my garage, because the previous owner had kitted out the back wall with wooden racking. The floor was stained so time for a refresh. I chose Hilka cabinets and a workbench to fit either side and above the bonnet & 7mm interlocking floor tiles. SJ Tools delivered promptly and the quality of the cabinets was excellent. Very professional service. I am very happy with the result. Brian, Sandhurst.

DX Freight doesn't recognise the tracking number provided. Not what I expect in 2024.
I am still waiting for the products to be delivered after 2 weeks and a delivery charge..

Total Sham my order was meant to be delivered to myself in the Midlands. When I tracked the order it stated that it had been collected by a customer in Gloucestershire.

Took a month to send the order out
When they did eventually send it out after opening a dispute on PayPal they only sent half the order. And this is still an ongoing dispute.
They have ignored my emails.
Stay very clear
Ordered some gear from these a few times and every time the service is outstanding. Needed some parts last minute for a show, and they came literary with 3 days to spare, thank you so much. Looking forward to ordering again.
Communication extremely lacking. Placed an order, 5 days later still says in progress. No emails to say not available or out of stock. Tried chasing the order. No response.
My money has been taken but I've received no product. I will not be ordering from this company again. Very poor service indeed. Would not recommend. Now I have to fight for my money back 🙁 what a shambles of a Company.
Placed an order then one week later I got an email a saying due to stock issues they cannot supply why did it take a week best avoid this company waste your time

Misleading offers!! Needed chicken manure. Ordered chicken manure as on offer and other items to reach their '' free delivery anywhere in the UK'' above £100 before VAT, they have sent me the top up items I bought I did not really need, as they were bought to achieve the £100 before VAT. In the printed invoice there was a handwritten message they could not find courier for the manure!!! What a ridiculous statement, but still is advertised for free delivery all over the UK. Tried to phone 5 times, nobody is picking up, nor they returned my calls.
Emailed them, but I have not received a response more than week now, for an order placed 8th of June, they just refunded me the difference from the chicken manure , no apologies, nothing. Absolutely non genuine advertising!
I ordered a certain product because I wanted that product. SJ Tools sent me another brand but can’t seem to work out why. Why not let me return them for a refund? Seems too difficult for their customer services to deal with. AVOID
