Formerly legit, now a scam
Sixteen92 started out as a great and well-respected company. Unfortunately things went rapidly downhill starting in 2020 and rather than taking accountability and accepting that she couldn't handle it anymore, Claire has instead turned to scamming hundreds and hundreds of people out of their money with no sign of stopping. She does everything she can to keep potential buyers from seeing people's complaints- she turns off comments and will block you if you try to warn anyone. She's still running her business despite hundreds of people never getting their orders and needing to file claims against her. She's a crook and I hope it all finally catches up to her eventually.

Somehow they got a mention in a reputable magazine, so I placed an order in August 2022, emailed several times, finally disputed with PayPal and got a refund in April 2023.
New customer. LOVE this brand.
So I'm a new customer and saw some of the negative reviews but also saw that people really like the products. My business had a hard time during the pandemic as well so I gave them a shot and I've gotten all my orders faster than expected. I love love love the fragrances and will continue to be a customer. Every company has ups and downs and it's usually the negative remarks that make it online.
Terrible experience
I placed an order on 7/30 and have yet to receive my products. Over the course of four months I’ve emailed six times. Dean has repeatedly made false promises and even provided a bogus tracking number, claiming my package had shipped. When it became obvious I would not be receiving the products I ordered I asked for a refund. That was three weeks ago and I have not received a response. It looks like this is a common occurrence and I’m out $70.
FRAUDSTERS, NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY!
Sixteen92 is NO LONGER, and never will be, a legitimate business. Woeful incompetence at best, and despicable fraud at worst. Do not waste your time with them. Any dealings with Sixteen92 are a pointless money suck.
I ordered from them recently. I had to fight for a refund as Sixteen92 would NOT provide me with my tracking after my order went over TAT.
Here’s the kicker — No response to my emails about tracking at all. However, they DID respond to other emails pertaining to order add-ons and anything that might enable them to hoard more of people’s money.
For anyone who needs to read this: chances are, you will NOT be the lucky one to get your package, out of the hordes of unlucky customers that haven’t. And even if somehow you do, it isn’t worth all the chasing you’ll have to do and uncertainty you’ll have to contend with. Normal companies don’t do this. This company is not normal.
This whole situation is a festering blight on the entire indie perfume industry. How much longer will it continue?

Like many others, I placed an order and 4 months later nothing has been sent. They also chose to never reply to my PayPal dispute. Steer clear of this company.
Be warned: This is no longer a legitimate business
Get ready to file a chargeback if you decide to take a gamble by ordering from these guys; chances are high you'll never receive your product. Do a search for 'Sixteen92' on Reddit and you'll find hundreds (perhaps by now thousands) of horror stories written by some of the many customers they've insulted, censored, lied to, and stolen from over the past two years.
I made the mistake of spending $70 through their website after stumbling across the glowing reviews they racked up back when they were still a legitimate enterprise. I waited months upon months to receive my order while being given the runaround with dead tracking numbers and curt emails. Like so many others, the order never arrived, and after being ignored for weeks by the customer service cipher "Dean" I was finally forced to appeal to my credit card company to get my money back.
There's no reason to waste time with businesses like Sixteen92 when there are so many other quality indie perfume houses that are quite willing to provide products in exchange for cash and treat customers with basic respect when emailed with questions or complaints about their service. I'm sure there are legitimate, understandable reasons Sixteen92 went off the rails during the pandemic, but perhaps they should have considered temporarily suspending business (and, if necessary, voluntarily issuing refunds) if they knew they wouldn't be able to fill the orders they were receiving. Sadly, the way they've opted to handle these circumstances has been appalling, and I don't know why any informed person would risk spending money with them after they've shown such blatant dishonesty and disrespect in so many interactions with paying customers.
Order never shipped, no contact
My order from February 2021 has still not been shipped. It is now January 2022. Company has ignored my multiple emails and messages on Instagram and Facebook. They delete negative comments on their social media.

Placed an order the 5th of February. It's the 23rd of November today and my order is still unfulfilled.
They've ignored emails, contact form submissions from their website, Instagram DMs, and Facebook messages.
They ghost their customers, hide their traces by deleting comments, and continue releasing new collections as if they don't have a mountain of unfulfilled orders and disappointed customers that trusted them with their money.
Doesn't send, ghosts emails
Pre-ordered two products on Feb. 13, 2021. As of today (Sept. 18, 2021), items have not arrived and the business hasn't answered any of my emails. I haven't been able to get a refund yet, either.
Found out via Reddit that this has happened to several others as well. Buyer beware.
