Absolutely amazing. Really well laid out and easy to use. Does everything and more than one would expect.
What is especially good is that you can prepare your full accounts, amend, review, save drafts etc. all before they ask you to pay. Just need to add a subscription to submit them

Having spent 2 months back and forth with an accountant, I was relieved to find Simple Company Tax online. With 48 hrs to go for an HMRC deadline and countless sleepless nights waiting for the accountant to get it right, I submitted my amended accounts to Companies House and CT600 to HMRC in an instant. My initial query to them was answered within minutes which gave me huge confidence in the support I would get in the future. I do my own accounting in QuickFile so all the data is there ready to enter into this app. No repeating of transactions, just the data from the QuickFile readily generated reports. This tool has saved me £300-500 a year for a simple, micro-entity company processing about 20-30 bank transactions a year.

What attracted me was the low price. I had no idea about the quality and was expecting low quality and system crashes. I was totally blown away by the experience and am glad that HMRC has forced me to use a paid service (their systems were laborious to use) and that I found SimpleCompanyTax.

It is a very straightforward filing tool to use. HMRC and Companies House filings can be completed quickly, a much better than the former gov defunct tool. I will highly recommend and the price is very reasonable too.

Company House & HMRC filing software was easy to use and reasonably priced.

Reasonably priced. Easy to sign up and although I had a blip on website accepting info for a CT600 only submission, help desk was very prompt and when I logged back in, was able to complete the submission.
Although I think it is ridiculous that HMRC won't accept filings from small companies any more, it is great to have a company that does not charge excessively. SimpleCompanyTax has a more Tiny price than some! ..

I used Simple Company Tax to file my company’s first-year accounts, which covered more than 12 months and required two CT600 returns.
The system was easy to navigate and guided me through the process. Having already spent time trying another provider’s system, I appreciated how straightforward this one was.
I paid £25 for the filing, compared with over £190 quoted by the other provider. For a small company, that is a significant difference.
I completed the filing without the frustration I had experienced elsewhere. I would recommend Simple Company Tax to anyone looking to file their own company accounts and Corporation Tax returns.

Quick and easy cost was low process was simple

Easier to use than the old HMRC portal version. The whole process took all of 10 mins (from signing up to submission - but I do have all the information with me already including logins for both Gov gateway and Companies). Great value for money. Would highly recommend!

I was disappointed when HMRC withdrew its free online filing service, as I run a very small limited company and have always prepared and filed our accounts and Corporation Tax return myself. I didn't want to subscribe to a full accounting package or pay hundreds of pounds to an accountant simply in order to submit figures I already had.

Simple Company Tax was exactly what I needed. It was straightforward to use, guided me through the information required, and allowed me to file without having to change the way I keep my accounts. At £25 for the year, I thought it was excellent value.

For anyone running a straightforward micro-company who is comfortable preparing their own figures but needs software to submit the accounts and CT600 electronically, this is a very useful service.

Wow. I genuinely found this software to be great to use. The dashboard is very intuitive which makes it extremely easy to follow the on screen instructions to complete my CT600. Definitely well worth the money.

in the old days we could submit tax returns. for free. to the government.

when u cash in on the government's closing down of their free service, making us PAY to submit tax returns .. .dont expect good reviews.
