Would be lovely to review my purchases but to-date not received! Saw on the tracking they were supposed to deliver and said that there was nobody there. I was in all day and no one attempted delivery. I have also not had any updates about delivery etc. I’ve got better things to do with my day than sit around waiting for deliveries that don’t turn up. Door open and all cars on drive and absolutely no one tried to deliver.

We’re sorry to hear that your parcel has not yet arrived, but we would like to clarify what has happened.
Your order was placed on Friday 4th September and dispatched on Monday 7th September, our next working dispatch day, via Parcelforce.
Parcelforce subsequently recorded an attempted delivery. From your comments, it appears that this did not actually take place as stated, which is understandably frustrating.
Although we had received no email, telephone call or other contact from you to let us know there was a problem, we have already chased Parcelforce ourselves. They have now confirmed that they will reattempt delivery on Thursday.
We are always happy to help when a delivery goes wrong and will continue to follow this through, but we do need customers to contact us directly if they experience an issue so that we can deal with it as quickly as possible.
Hopefully your order will now be with you very shortly.

Great service overall, but disappointed with lack of response to complaint
I was really impressed with Simmer Eats’ service when it came to subscription, ordering, and delivery - everything was smooth and efficient. However, I was very disappointed by the complete lack of response to my emails after I tried to raise an issue about one of the meals.
Following recommendations from my son and several neighbours, I ordered 18 meals. Most were delicious and of excellent quality, but the Jerk Chicken meals were a major letdown. I ordered four portions based on the positive reviews, yet all four were inedible — the chicken was tough and grisly, the plantain was mushy, and the dish lacked seasoning and flavour. There were also no kidney beans, which was surprising.
Three others, including my son, tried the meals and agreed they were not up to standard. It’s disappointing, especially as the rest of the range was so good.
What’s most frustrating is that customer service hasn’t replied to my emails about this issue. I still think Simmer Eats has great potential and offers tasty, convenient meals, but ignoring customer feedback is really disheartening.
I hope they improve how they handle complaints - good service shouldn’t stop after delivery.
In light of above, would still expect a response to my emails please.
