Great prices and a seamless experience.
Shuttle to and from the airport was only a few minutes and car selection was great.
We hired the Hyundai i30 hybrid and was very happy with our choice.

Easy on line booking.
Messaged on arrival and Simba communicated a pickup had been dispatched. Note- car collection is not at the terminal. The car was ready at Simba base and the agreement emailed. The car was good- no problems- on return checked and efficient transfer back to the terminal. Good service, helpful staff and would use Simba again.

Good service at pickup, brilliant service at drop off. Nice car in good condition but bigger than I ordered ("upgrade") and I'd have been more relaxed and comfortable in the smaller compact SUV. Nice friendly people both times, thanks Megan and crew.

Absolutely avoid Simba Car Hire.

A tiny scratch on the car turned into a bill of almost 8,000 AUD for a 7-day rental. They charged 295 AUD per day for “immobilisation” while repairing a minor mark (which took 12 days) — even though the rental rate was only 14.23 AUD/day. That’s 20× more for a car not being used than for a car being driven.

The car already had multiple unrepaired dents when I picked it up, so why did a minor scratch become such an inflated, weeks-long repair project?

No support, no empathy, just outrageous charges. It feels like a business model designed to profit from accidents, not help customers.

Do yourself a favour: stay away from Simba.

It was the worst car hire that I have ever used. They suck you in with cheap price but then when you are there, they charge you with everything. I was in Sydney and they don't open after 7, so if your flight leaves early in the morning, they will charge you $75 to give you a code to open the gate for you to drop your car. And even after 4 months that I used their services, I still getting charges on my credit card without any explanation for them.

Extremely professional and helpful staff, shuttle too and from the airport was easy to organise. Car was in great condition and was easy to pick up/drop off.

I got almost new car in excellent condition. it was easy to pick up and drop off. If you are visiting cairns - they do have 10% off for some of experiences like Hartley crocodile, kurunda sanctuary, Daitree etc on entry ticket if you self-drive - good one to avail 😃.

My friends and I rented a Kia Carnival from Simba car hire during our time in Perth. From the beginning we were very impressed. Booking online was very easy and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived at Simba. The process was very quick and straightforward which was great as sometimes it can take a long time before you actually receive the keys in other car rentals. The car was spotless, in such good condition and we couldn’t fault it at all. It was very comfortable which was great as there was enough room for all the passengers and their luggage! We were informed of the shuttle to the airport when we returned the car which we used. This was great as it was free and was ready and waiting for us when we arrived back with the car which meant that after our car was checked we got to head straight to the airport. We would highly recommend using Simba Car Hire and look forward to using them again in the future.
