Great costumer service! Very informative, friendly and helpful.

Spent over 4k on a Pecron kit only to have the price dropped approximately 500$ two weeks later. Appears that the original payment was adjusted.
Was not made aware of the time that it would take to receive the equipment.

Approx. 2 weeks after the purchase i Received an email stating that the cables and panels were out for delivery.
Only to receive the cables. You can imagine my frustration. I believed that the panels were stolen. After 30minutes of automated phone calls with both UPS and shop solar. I finally was able to speak with a shop-solar sales associate. I was then advised that the panels were arriving the following day. Solar Panels boxes were slightly damaged, hopefully they work/not damaged. Almost a month later I still haven't received the batterys/controllers. Had to purchase a Jackery 3k from BestBuy. It's awesome, ran a full size fridge all day and never dropped below 95% power.

The ability to select a solar package vs trying to piece together a system had a lot of value.
Things that could improve, better communication on shipping status.

The kits sold make it super easy to get up and running. Also I chose to have my off grid system inspected, so it was easy to pass final.

I'm getting more satisfaction out of being self self-sufficient than I thought.

The modularity of the kit made it simple to add batteries to the chassis. I did not plan well enough to add panels.

When I called for help, the phone was answered and they explained what I needed with no delay (took me back to old days).

I think the pricing is competitive and the service is great.

If I was going to recommend any improvement I would suggest the instructions be a little more detailed. They were easy to follow as I installed the system. However, when I read them before I started I was not confident I truly understood.

Lastly, I've helped five neighbors with their new construction and on grid power meter installations this year. Their cost of installation ranged from $24K to 60K. The solar kit I bought (6.5KW) was under $10K. So this is a very good solution for lower cost housing if you live where you can take advantage of minimal government interference.

quick, friendly & knowledgeable response on the phone with pre-sales support... if they knew or could find out a reply quickly they did... if not they quickly researched and responded professionally... tech support was less than helpful but polite...
a callback from Alex or Max would show genuine concern...I realize your current state of overload... so in your own time is understood...

This will be may second order with the company. It could have been due to the sale that was happening, but it seems to be taken longer to process. It took over 24 hours after me placing more order for it to ship. 48 hours after the order has supposedly shipped, but no tracking is available. The only shipping speed is ground for $5.99 with a week or longer lead time. I would have paid for extra shipping to get it quicker as I need this critical part to get my system up and running. Overall? I am satisfied just wish it would go a little faster and the tracking was available as soon as it shipped.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with Shop Solar. Once they sell you the product, they don’t seem to care about anything else. The handling of the drawings and permits was extremely poor, and their response time was very slow.

Important steps that should have been taken early were delayed for weeks, with almost no communication. It feels like they just want to make the sale and then leave you to deal with everything on your own.

Because of these delays and lack of support, the whole process became far more stressful and time-consuming than it needed to be. I expected much better service for such an important project.

The staff at shop solar put a system together for my needs. They were very helpful through the entire process from start to finish. My package is 1/3 of the price compared to other solar companies. Overall I am very satisfied. I will definitely recommend them .
