I've been a shoppee customer/buyer for years. Recently with my order I rated 1 star to the product as it was not up to my expectation. I gave an honest review about the product. I didn't return it nor ask for a refund to avoid hassle. But the seller got so mad at my review or rating and even accused me of being demanding, abusive and so on. First time it happened to me. Shoppee even deleted my review/rating and stated why they deleted it is because they are pro-seller even if the seller is at fault. Like seriously?? I ordered 1 last time from this online shop then I will delete my account here. I was gonna cancel the order but the seller already shipped it. I will no longer support a shop who allows sellers to be so rude and personally attacks and accuses its buyers/customers.

Total scam and waste of money. Good luck getting help when they take advantage of you!

there are numerous items that are easy to purchase in IK but imoossible to source in the PHilippines and if you can find they come with a whopping price tag eg x6-8 times higher.no supermarket wars here,so i was recommended to try Shopee the Asian equivalent of ebay except customers can pay COD,i gave it a go bought my wife a fishing net to see how it went,ALL think i have reached end of the line they have changed my log in ig w/o telling me now all my records have been delefed,cannot see many ex-pats putting up with the chaos

next up a picture frame could not find any retailers,to be wary i asked my wife check for breakages before handing over COD a wise decision shattered glass,today a parcel supposedly of a butter dish turned out to be baby wipes and bureaucratic hell trying sort it out, so be careful what you wish for, ALSO WHEN TRYING ACQUIRE A FREEZER I NOTICED MANY SELLERS LISTING NEW PRODUCTS FOR PHP3000,OBVIOUSLY SOME SORT OF POTENTIAL SCAM.I TRIED TO PURCHASE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THAT OFFERED CASH ON DELIVERY BUT IN EVERY CASE THE SELLER CAME BACK INSISTING ON HALF UP FRONT STRAIGHTAWAY,BE VERY CAREFUL FOLKS I WILL NOT WASTE TIME TRYING GET REFUND I WISH I HAD CHECKED OUT SHOPEE HERE FIRST! I can't request a refund although the seller said it's okay to refund. I can buy using the website but can only contact Shopee support via app (which is not available on my phone). It seems they just intentionally make it hard and waste your time.

This is the worst company i ever encounters. They cancel there own orders because they scam there couriers. One star is to much for this menace BS company. Greetings Arlene

I ordered a ceiling fan worth P4000 and the vendor shipped a P25 sponge scrub. When I wrote a bad review about my experience Shopee replied that my review had been flagged and hidden because of negative comments. Apparently, they will hide under the rug honest reviews to protect sellers. Instead of actively investigating and disciplining dishonest merchants they would rather put down customer concerns. Beware of Shopee.

Ordered a Hotend Kit and received only a nozzle. Seller’s ADS showed a picture and name the parts of the kit which was a thermistor, heatbreak and a nozzle. When I received the package, I received only a nozzle. i requested a refund for the missing parts 3x and was rejected 3 times while explaining it to shopee what I received was incomplete with all the pictures and videos included but was still denied a request for refund.

I ordered from Shopee a "Liquid Level Control Switch". Upon unboxing, I realized that what's inside is not a control switch, but just a piece of rolled carton. The seller is a scammer and I filed a return/refund complaint. After a few days, I checked the status of my refund but the Shopee app froze. I tried to log in a couple of times and my account was banned. I appealed for the restoration of my account but to no avail. Shopee did not even state the reason why my account was banned.
The problem is: I used Shopee Pay Later and Buyer Cash Loan (Sloan) to purchase some items before my account was banned. Since I don't have access to my account, I don't know exactly how much and when to send the payment. (Prior to banning my account, I diligently pay my Shopee Pay Later and Sloan, since I can access the account).
I became at the mercy of Shopee's collection service provider SeaMoney. Whatever amount the collection agent informs me, I pay it through Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).
When I thought that I have already paid all my obligations, a collection agent called me this morning and I was informed that I still have Php 5,000 unpaid dues 5 months ago. On top of that, I also need to pay the interest Php 4,891 something due to late payment.
I was also threatened that my credit rating will be tarnished if the the amount was not settled.
It's really so unfair! I could have paid that had I been informed about that unsettled amount...

bad customer service, bad refund service, just think twice or more before using shopee PH.

Return and refund process is unfair to small shops like mine. They can just issue a refund to the buyer immediately (at their own discretion) without waiting for the seller to respond if they want their product to be returned. Samen pa binawas ung shipping fee ng buyer tapos di namin nabawi item, so seller ang lugi. Nag dispute pero kulang pa ang pictures at wala ng chance mag appeal. Paulit ulit lang sasabihin ng CS kasi wala silang resolution sa ganitong issue. If you're considering to sell here, think about it very carefully. Expect mo na na lang may chance na malulugi ka kesa kikita ka

I was scammed by one of their sellers worth 5k. And none of them bothered to help me. They dont deserve even a 1 star review. I will not pay my spaylater.

As others have pointed out, Shopee steals your money by way of the "refund" process. How so? Here's how:

Order cancelled or returned, and refund approved. So far so good. Except.. they DO NOT refund your money back and instead stick it into their "Shopeepay scam bucket". What's that? It's their wallet system. Except, you MUST be "verified" to use it. You DO NOT have a choice in this and can't just get a refund. You MUST use their wallet.

So, you try to "get verified", except it doesn't work! And not only that, they ask WAY too many questions! These companies should NOT be trusted with that kind of data! So, we complain and say, just refund the money back to a bank account. NOPE. They won't give you your money. It's now "stuck" inside of "Shopeepay".

So.. why would they do this? SIMPLE. Shopee LOANS this money out to other users as "payday loans" and Shopee Credit. This is why they now steer all funds into Shopeepay and then make it SUPER difficult to get to it. It's THEFT.. plain and simple. But worse, it's thieved money to then be used for usury on other Filipinos! It is the ultimate in underhanded tact.

We will NEVER use Shopee ever again. Absolute thieves. And they also only protect their own - which is primarily junk or fake overseas products. Their entire business model is to fleece SE Asia.

I paid for an item and the seller didn't have stock. Instead of refunding to my Gcash like I expected, they put it in a "Shopeepay" account???? I never asked for it to be put there. The big issue is, they ask me to fill out a long form, provide ID, manyyyyy personal details to get "approved" for Shopeepay. I applied twice with my actual info and it was rejected 2x!!!!! MY MONEY is being held by Shopee and I can't get it back!!!!! DO NOT USE SHOPEE!!! Use Lazada, they refund to original payment method.

They keep promising to solve problem but they dont actually do what they said all lies my package never be delivery and also they put driver number not active and money never come back to my gcash

Order was 1 month late THEN Cancelled on us.. smh the order was 1 mile away from us and they still never delivered it..

The e-commerce platform is horrendous and flimsy.

WARNING--FAN MALFUNCTION...BUTTONS DO NOT WORK...LET FAN RUN ABOUT ONE MINUTE AND THEN THE UNIT SHUTS DOWN...OUCH!

Shopee sent a totally different and much cheaper version of the product, which I purchased. Can not return as I need to install Apps, which is not possible on my mobile. Never again... very unprofessional and cheaters.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. My experience with their customer service has been extremely frustrating. I’ve been repeatedly reporting issues with the seller app, which is supposed to allow SPX pickups to be booked, but all they ever offer is basic troubleshooting. There’s no follow-up from their team to identify the root cause of the problem or offer any real solutions. Multiple orders have been canceled due to the lack of proper assistance from these people. I don't feel any sense of assurance, they just seem eager to end the chat, even if they're providing incorrect information. The managers are no help either. The riders are unreliable as well. Overall, this customer service is a waste of time. Additionally, all SPX and Flash Express drop-off points are either closed or difficult to find because they are located in private houses.
