Chose to buy my new bike from Nick at Robinsons. Started with an easy to use WhatsApp query, followed by a decent chat over the phone. Nick answered all my questions and didn't make me feel pressured at any point.
I knew the bike I wanted but scoured the Internet for the best offer I could find, Robinsons offered it. I went to my local dealer and they couldn't get anywhere near the price! Having
never bought a new bike online, I wasn't sure what the process was but was well guided throughout the process.
A delivery date was arranged and the bike arrived, as expected, in perfect order, bright and early in the morning (the driver departed at 0330hrs to get to me!)
All the paperwork was handed over, spare key, manuals and the seat was packed into a box after the seat cowl had been fitted.
I have nothing negative to say about this experience and can only praise Nick and Robinsons for sorting me out. Buying an expensive item like this should be an enjoyable experience with the appropriate feeling of being supported throughout, and beyond. I've no doubt should I require anything in the future, Robinsons could be contacted for guidance.

Hi there, we are sorry to hear there has been a problem with your delivery. This is a DPD issue, of which we have no control in regards to delivery messages being sent and the quality of the delivery from an individual driver.
Still waiting for order after 7 weeks…
Still waiting for order after 7 weeks on backorder and been told at least end of February untill they will get them, ordered parts 22nd February

Where is my order?
Motogb replied to my email and have expedited my order so it should arrive on 22 December. There does not appear to be a robust system to notify customers when there are delays at one of their supplying dealers so the onus is on the customer to follow up.
I placed my order on 7 December and as of 19 December it is still being processed. No communication from Motogb. I tried calling and always get cut off.
Do not deal with this company.

Hello Colin, we are sorry to hear you have had a negative experience. Sadly, December is the busiest time of the year for us. In general, we do advise there will be delays ongoing throughout December as the business is closed from the 22nd and deliveries cannot even be guaranteed before Christmas after the 14th.
We can see that your delivery was received on the 22nd of December, 5 working days over the general delivery time when no delays are present. For this we apologise.

Hi Peter, the chain & lock you are referring to has indeed been given the Pedal Cycle Gold rating. It has also met the Police Preferred Specification and has been accredited 'Secured by Design' (SBD).
This chain is perfectly suited for both push-bikes and motorcycles. You can also see that not just ourselves, but many motorcycle accessory retailers across the board advertise this chain as more than suitable.

Our website is set up in the simplest possible way, at any given time you are 4 clicks away from the exact catalogue you need, even so, our customer service team spent time with you over the phone to help find the parts you were looking for.
Regarding the confirmation of the order, websites are not perfect and can suffer minor 'bugs' from time to time. The problem you had communicated over the phone was in fact an issue with the payment application that we have little to no control over.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hi there, as per our conversation earlier, we apologise for any delays with your order.
It does appear that there is a delay with customs in your country, we have contacted TNT, they have advised there doesn't appear to be any issues other than the aforementioned delay.
Hard to navigate
For parts, the site is hard to navigate. There are no links on the main site. You just have to get lucky and hope that a search engine links to it.
Closed on Saturdays!
That being said, Its the only supplier In the UK so you can stop looking.
Edit in response to MotoGB's reply. There is no link on the main page to get to the bike parts. Unless its a secret. I really don't know to get there via any other route than Google.

Hi Samba, we're sorry to hear you've had difficulties on our website, though we do appreciate the feedback. We would be interested to know which listings you had trouble with so we can work to improve our catalogue.
Generally, all available models should be accessible through the parts catalogue and shouldn't require a Google search, unless it's a discontinued catalogue. We are aware of some models showing through Google that shouldn't be.
Additionally, we are not a physical retail outlet, just a set of offices. This is why we are only open on weekdays, apologies.
New motorbike
When I went in to look at my next motorbike the service was great and helpful. I purchased based on the help that I had and picked up my new bike 4 days later.
Great handover, bike spotless and ready to roll - first service booked in and introduced to the service team.
All in all a fantastic experience
