Shades of Coffee is my go to Gaggia Classic specialist shop. They stock items that through their experience the Classic use will need and they also have parts they have developed themselves to make the functionality of the Classic better. Great service, fast delivery, quality products.

Purchased PID controller mod for my Gaggia. Great product and when I needed help installing/troubleshooting it, seller was quick to help. I just purchased more mods for my Gaggia from him.

we bought a Gaggia Classic about a year ago. It's a fabulous bit of kit and has moved us way beyond the nespresso pods we used to use every day. However, it has limitations. MANY of them. we found Adrian's company by chance. Ther main thing that struck me was that Adrian responded to my emails with information that was actually useful, which has become somewhat novel. He has given us great advice that has helped us understand what we need as amateurs in the coffee game. The bigger tray is fab, the steaming nozzle a game changer. We are about to order the PID, steamer and on/off switch. The great thing about the mods is that they don't damage the integrity of the original machine. He is very knowledgable and i suspect an electronics engineer type (sorry Adrian if this isn't the case). Godd guy, great business and I hope he's really successful with it.

Very nice guys, helpful, respond quickly and generally quite pleasant to interact with. Most items are perhaps a bit overpriced but definitely make the Gaggia a much better machine. Avoid the overpriced and silly Water Level Float and Digital Milk Thermometer. Also, because GB is better than everyone else, be prepared to pay the brutal VAT for those not living there. If you're going to order from them I'd advise waiting and getting all your items in one order to avoid extra fees

Ordered the Pressure Gauge Kit from Shades of Coffee. Kit shipped from UK to Canada using the postal system in 7 days from initial order. Kit worked well, and installed without any problems. Although you need small hands to work in the confined space of the Gaggia Classic machine.

The products are amazing, I ordered 2 portafilters and a Steam Wand Knob and thei look exceptionally. They came very well packeged as to preserve their shine.

I am really disappointed in the lack of communication from Shades of coffee. I purchased a seal kit and a shower head for my Gaggia classic. I have purchased these from elsewhere before and never had an issue, however the group gasket from this kit would not fit. I have emailed 4 times about this issue and still no answer. I have since purchased exactly the same seal from another supplier and it fits perfectly. I feel like they know it’s an issue and are ignoring me! Just disappointing as I’ve tried to support what I perceive as a small UK business only to get treated worse than I would by large corporate Amazon!
