SGH Golf Anmeldelser

Last April, I was part of a group of eight golfers fortunate enough to select SGH Golf for our Scottish outing. The only complaint I could possibly register is with regard to the weather - over which they (of course) exercise no control. I've told all my other playing partners that only made the trip all the more authentic! The golf courses are challenging enough without having to survive the ordeal...The accommodations were always very comfortable and conveniently located. We selected: TROON, TURNBERRY, The OLD COURSE, JUBILEE and CARNOUSTIE, in that order. That way we got to see both (East & West) coasts of Scotland. The golf was spectacular, some of our individual scores notwithstanding. Throughout the trip, we received consistently excellent suggestions from our driver, Derek Dall, regarding local restaurants and other venues of interest. Derek made the absolute best use of our available time! He even shared a few tips on each of the courses - as he is a single-digit handicap. Derek took a personal interest in the quality of our visit and easily exceeded all expectations.
Assuming I'm fortunate enough to return with another group in the not-too-distant future, I would again utilize SGH and ask for Derek specifically. I would recommend this outfit - unabashedly.

Ian was very helpful in the whole process from start to finish. SGS Golf was able to get us on St. Andrews Old Course through the lottery which was amazing. The hotels we stayed at were on the golf course or within 100 yards of the 1st tee at St. Andrews. The trip was amazing, the accommodations were excellent and our connection is Scotland helped us immensely. I would highly recommend SGS Golf to anyone who is travelling to Scotland to play golf.

SGH did an amazing job from beginning to end! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to experience the ultimate golf vacation! Professional, friendly, well connected, organized. SGH takes care of everything and so the only thing you have to focus on is your golf game! Turnberry, Royal Troon, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Muirfield, The New Course at St Andrews - The whole trip was Awesome! Thanks SGH Team!

We had a very memorable trip, and Douglas was an indispensable on the ground asset. I've recommended SGH to all my golf buddies.

Everything arranged by SGH Golf went perfectly. We played 9 rounds in 10 days, with no rain during any of our golf rounds. The trip was extremely well planned, making our time in Scotland very fun and stress free. Our driver (Derek) did an outstanding job of getting us to each of the courses in plenty of time to warm up, and got us onto the Old Course on the day we had planned to play it. He also had a great sense of humor, which added some local flair to the trip. I would recommend SGH to anyone wanting a full service golf experience in Scotland.

Great trip. Couldn't have been better with a driver who took fantastic care of all 8 of us looking after the wives every other day while the guys played five wonderful rounds of golf. First class hotels and really good food throughout the whole 10 day trip. I give it 5 Stars!

We had a wonderful trip with three other couples. Fabulous driver made it fun and entertaining. Weather, which we can't control, was terrific. Ladies shopped and saw historic landmarks every other day while men golfed. Two ladies like to golf too, so rented clubs and enjoyed their golf in Scotland as well.

SGH Golf did an outstanding job in planning and executing our golf trip. Tee times were good and our driver took care of all our needs from loading and unloading our golf bags to making dinner reservations. Everything was first class.

Ian and the rest of the team are knowledgeable, helpful, patient and responsive. I wouldn't plan a trip to Ireland or the UK without SGH.

SGH was first rate! We took 8 Dads and 8 Sons on a trip of a lifetime to Scotland with a bus for travel purposes. The courses, lodging, travel, staff, service and billing was first rate. I would recommend SGH to anyone who wants to book a trip of a lifetime.

Excellent service

This was a wonderful trip with a group of golfing buddies. Our only concern was that a round at St. Andrews is not guaranteed. Our host and driver, Bob, spent most of the day at the Old Course trying to get them to work us in. Finally 5 of our 7 got off late in the day. We played the last two holes in the dark, not dusk, dark.

Other than that, everything was great. Good hotels, good golf courses, and a competent and friendly driver.

SGH Golf did an excellent job planning and executing a father-son trip to Scotland for our group of 16. Every detail was done to perfection. We chose to have a driver and guide for the trip. They took care of everything, from getting us to our tee time to making sure we were set for dinner reservations. An our guide helped us make some last minute changes that made the trip more memorable. It could not have been a better trip!! I would highly recommend SGH Golf to anyone!

I was fortunate to be able to take my Dad to the Masters which was on both of our bucket lists and SGH Golf paved the way for an awesome experience.

Went to Scotland and played most of the rota courses for the Open Championship with my brother and two friends. Great coordination, accommodations, tee times, scheduling and don't forget the caddies! I lived the dream and have plenty to remember the rest of my life. Planting the seeds now for the next trip. I recommend SGH to anyone interested in having the experience of a lifetime!

A world class experience. I'm looking forward to next year.

We had such a great time at The Masters! The hospitality shared through SGH Golf was more than we could have hope for. We look forward to working with them again!

SGH delivered on everything they promised. excellent service and value.

SGH did a great job planning our trip and securing tee times for the courses we selected. It was the trip of a lifetime and I would not hesitate to recommend SGH to friends and family (I actually already have). They did a great job!

The SGH staff in the US was easy to deal with as well as being professional and personable. Everything about our trip was well organized and Douglas was able to reorganize tee times on the fly due to weather conditions. I don't think anyone in our group would hesitate recommending SGH.
