Skrevet af virksomheden

Seven Chapter Books started with a simple frustration: the largest e-book stores have everything, and yet finding a book you'll actually love feels harder every year. Algorithms surface what's loud, not what's good. Discussion lives on whichever social network is currently popular, and authors spend more time chasing platforms than writing. We wanted something different—a single, calmer place where every title is intentionally chosen, where readers can talk to other readers about the book in real time, and where the authors who wrote those books get paid fairly and stay close to their audience. That's the platform we're building, one book at a time. We're a small, independent team. Every reader who joins, every author we publish, and every piece of feedback you send us shapes what we do next.

Interacting with readers

I like how easy it is to get in and out to see the e-books. They put a lot of detail in the description of the books, and I like that you can interact with other readers and I’m just enjoying the whole experience.

I would also like to thank Ivy Summer’s first and foremost for her working with me. I’m a new author. This is all new to me and she has been kind and flexible and there’s a lot of offers for working with them. she gave me different options and she let me decide what I wanted to do and what would work best for me.
The rest of the team was great Francis who works with Ivy, Luna Harrington and Jack Smith. They all emailed me when they said they would. they would follow up with me when they said they would. The only real issues was the time difference it wasn’t that big a deal. We worked around it over all. It was a great experience.

Results Not That Great

I was offered the opportunity to join the sevenchapterbooks book catalog website with my book, "Gospel of God's Grace and His Kingdom" not long after having an interview about the book with Logan Crawford. To be honest, compared to the high cost of being on the website, the results to this point have been disappointing. There have been fewer than a dozen reviews and under $50 in royalties for the first quarter. So from my perspective and experience to this point, I cannot recommend this company as a good investment for promoting one's book.

Besvarelse fra Seven Chapter Books

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback regarding your first-quarter experience with Seven Chapter Books and the listing of your book, Gospel of God's Grace and His Kingdom.

We appreciate your openness in sharing your concerns about the results so far, particularly regarding reader reviews and royalties. We understand that authors invest their time, resources, and trust in opportunities like this with the hope of reaching more readers and seeing meaningful engagement with their work. We recognize that the results you have experienced during your first quarter have not met your expectations, and we take that feedback seriously.

Our platform is designed to provide authors with an opportunity to increase their book's visibility, connect with readers, and generate royalties through completed reads. However, reader engagement and royalty earnings can vary, and we understand that these possibilities need to translate into meaningful value for authors.

Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue working to improve the experience we provide to our authors and readers. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further, review the engagement and royalty reporting for your title, and better understand how we can address your concerns.

Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We wish you and Gospel of God's Grace and His Kingdom continued success in reaching readers.
