Painting Work and more...
Zac from Zac Painting Group we engaged to do some painting at our warehouse and offices. Zac is also a handyman and did some extra work beyond painting which we detailed prior to engaging him. We were very happy with his work and attitude and would recommend him. He is very neat, tidy and courteous.

Use this platform for all your trades. Great tradies use it which tells you something!
People really need to look at this company before any others. Without them I wouldn’t have found an incredible landscaper, Grass Roots. Which should tell most people that great trades use this service.
They follow up with the trades to see how they went. The staff here are really friendly and extremely easy to deal with. I’m not being paid for my review. I’ve done this willingly to tell people that this platform is reliable and you’ll find great tradies on here. Serendipity

We signed up for this platform with…
We signed up for this platform with high expectations, after being told by a service.com.au rep, it would generate "heaps of leads". Unfortunately, that promise hasn't come close to being fulfilled. The performance has been underwhelming, with no results to show for the time and money we've invested.
We have only used the platform for a short while but the leads we get are a joke. People promoting their own businesses, lawn mowing (we are in construction and don't have lawn mowing selected), people requesting that they need asbestos removed (again, not something we do) & many others.
We have accepted a handful of leads, however, no reply back, not answering calls or emails. When I mentioned this to Grayson (our service.com.au rep), I am met with 'customers aren't sitting by their phones, they have a life and it may take a few more tries to get through'. As a business, we don't have time to be calling and emailing customers multiple times a day, multiple times a week for an initial reply back with no promise of a secured job.
We asked for a refund of the nearly $3000 we paid, but they 'don't do refunds' which is insane for the price we paid with no result.
Do not use this platform, they will persuade you to join with all these promises, then as soon as the money is in their bank they DO NOT CARE.

During the initial call with your account manager, the owner of the business selected a flexible 75km package and requested to include both construction and lawn mowing categories. These were added to reflect the business’s plans to expand into broader service types, including construction and associated outdoor work.
Our platform delivers leads based on the preferences selected during setup. While we aim to connect businesses with relevant opportunities, we can’t guarantee job outcomes, as this depends on consistent quoting and timely follow-up with customers.
We understand it can be frustrating when you don’t hear back immediately, but as your account manager explained, customers are not always available straight away, and persistence is often needed in early contact attempts.
Regarding your refund request, as per our terms and conditions, refunds are not offered for change-of-mind or where leads have already been delivered and partially consumed. That said, we’re happy to assist you in reviewing your account settings, updating your lead categories, and providing quoting tips to help improve outcomes.
If you’d like to work through some options, please get in touch with our support team. We’d be glad to help.
I appreciated the ease in which I could recruit the right people for the jobs at hand.
I appreciated the ease in which I could identify two separate work projects that required specific expertise in plastering and electrical work. Advertising via Service.com enabled me to describe the tasks and then receive expressions of interest and approximate quotes to complete the tasks. Additional information from previous jobs completed by tradies assisted me to hire capable personnel who completed the tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
