We had a reservation for Canton Texas trade days.
We had to change the date due to the dates we found fell on Easter.
So we moved the reservation to the last first weekend of May.
The RV resort had zero issues moving the reservation to that date.
Well this weekend there are forecasted possible tornadoes and we canceled that same reservation.
The scam Sensible Weather denied our cancellation due to the change in dates.
I still paid for this coverage.
If the park did not have an issue why can not the coverage move with that same exact reservation?
This is an absolute scam and waste of my money.
Just another way to take your money and smile as they take it.
Never will I trust this lie of extra money.

It was rained for the past 12 hours and will continue until tonight. They sent me an email stating rain was forecasted and I could qualify. After 13 hours of rain they said I didn’t qualify because the drops weren’t big enough and to ignore the fact that everyone left due to rain. This is unacceptable. This insurance company is much like the trumpet administration. You can’t believe anything they say.

I had never signed up for Sensible Weather before, and had forgotten about it. It poured rain all night and into the next morning. I got a text saying that the weather qualified for the guarantee!! What a nice surprise on a rainy day of camping!

This is the easiest way to cover your trip. They monitor the weather and if there is any issue, calling them is also easy and the staff are very personable. I use this every time I camp !

I was offered Sensible Weather insurance at $1.24/day for my 7 day camping reservation. I followed the link and it turned to $1.98 for 8 days.

I didn't have to keep track of the weather, it did it for me so I could change my plans if needed.

I won't book a KOA trip without Sensible Weather. It's too easy to sign up and very cost effective. We have saved our trip twice with a refund for rain. Thank you for offering this service.

The service was offered to us on the Jekyll Island hotel website. We accepted, and it was only in the fine print that we learned after the booking that even if the stay was cancelled we would pay the price of insurance. Then we found out we can''t even opt out of emails, so we get an email a day for a trip that was cancelled, for as long as it takes until the cancelled trip passes.

It was nice to have a little safety net just in case there was bad weather.

Simply, it rained. They paid. I enjoyed the payoff.

Hard rain for more than 6 hours, yet their “data” says it didn’t rain at all. Tough pill to swallow when the insurance you bought really doesn’t feel legit.

Sensible weather is the coolest. Gamification on the weather front for vacations!? What a cool risk management option. Would definitely do it again even though I didn't benefit the first time. Love this idea!

Very easy and reasonably priced to set up. Quick to let me know if I had qualified each day or not and then prompt payments released.
