We use sensible weather on every trip. We are kept updated on the weather. We have had two instances where we had reimbursement. The money is quickly put into your account.

They are nothing but scam artists. I have pictures of inches of rain and it rained our entire trip and they refused my claim because NOAA said there was no rain. Do not ever buy this. It's a waste of money and just another insurance company trying to scam you out of your money.

Sensible Weather kept me informed of the expected weather, letting me know they were watching my trip.
It gave me the security to know that if it rains while camping we get reimbursed.
I liked how you sent updates daily on the weather.
The least expensive way to protect your travel plans. The weather in the Northwest is so unpredictable it was an easy decision.
This company monitors the weather for you. You don’t have to do a thing. I had even forgotten about purchasing this service when they contacted me that I was due a weather refund.

We got the alert that the "current forecasts show that today’s expected weather does not qualify you for reimbursement" while at hour 2 of a 6 hour stretch of thunderstorm/rain. Reached out to customer service to re-review and was told it didn't qualify for their rain measurements. Not a huge cost but definitely a waste of money. Do not recommend. Should have listened to my gut when I thought it sounded like a scam.
Played 9 holes (2 hours) it started down pouring on the first hole. We left. I asked for a refund and they said they only will cover if it’s for 3 hours. So this service is a complete scam as they can pull the “it needs to rain for 3 hours” card and you are out. Would not recommend

Great service, always kept me updated before and after my stay.
It was comforting to know that if there was inclement weather, I had the insurance to recover my green fees.
Great service, easy to talk to staff, they watched the weather and gave refund without problem
We were in the rainy months so I liked knowing I could get money back if it rained. We didn’t have to use it!
We booked this trip several months in advance and purchased the Weather Guarantee. Closer to the trip, the forecast showed all-day rain and cold weather. We were assured that there was nothing we had to do and that we would be refunded. We stayed at our location for 2 days before calling it quits and leaving early.
The qualifications in the Weather Guarantee are very specific and do not cover a number of weather incidents that would reasonably end a trip early. Regardless, our conditions did meet the requirement (over 6 hours of precipitation of at least 1.5 mm/hr) for those 2 days, but the weather data used by Sensible Weather did not accurately reflect that, so we were denied any refund whatsoever. After multiple back-and-forth emails, I was able to get $36 out of $110 refunded (not quite the 100% guarantee that we expected).
If we had known we would not be covered, we would have either held off on booking the trip or cancelled it directly through the host once the forecast became available.
Overall, a frustrating experience. Will not purchase again.

Again, my Sensible Weather Guarantee was NOT MET.
The Company wanted me to alter my poor review but nothing changed. They didn’t listen to the issue… my reservation was altered by the KOA, not by me! My sensible Weather contract was not with KOA. I should not have been cancelled when the reservation was altered NOT BY ME. We were offered to $$$re-purchase$$$ however, the system encountered a glitch… Then we were told it was too late to $re-purchase$ because our reservation had already started. It seems like there was always something that we were being punished for when we did NOT break the rules (or cause THEIR SYSTEM to encounter a glitch). We travel 6 to 7 months out of the year and this would have been a nice option, however the frustration of $paying$ for something and it not coming through will keep me from considering this again.
